It's deeper than just "eat less" I mean...that's the core of what you need to do, but mentally you have to treat and look at it like any addiction. I have always believed eating addiction is just as bad as being addicted to cigarettes, gambling, alcohol, etc. Would you tell a smoker to smoke less? Or an alcoholic to drink less? I will admit I do see it as "cheating" in a way, but at this point I feel like it's my only realistic option left to lose weight. The other issue is people who take semiglutides usually end up gaining the weight back after losing 30, 40, 50 lbs, etc. You can take the medication, but you ultimately have to make a lifestyle change or the weight will come back. Let's say I lose 30 lbs and get off the medication, well obviously if I eat like shit it'll come straight back. I'm hoping by that point I'll have a lower appetite and more self-control thanks to the medicine.
