Dice cuck
Wololo cuck

That's not how DnD works.

I hope he’s paying you to make these threads about him.

roll int

does he even know how to play dnd? embarrassing

I have no friends and never played Dungeons & Dragons.
I CAN'T relate.

I fucking hate Reddit and this gay retarded humour so much I just wanna kill myself

int rolls exist

I can't wait to post this quote on reddit

i thought bikecuck stopped making comics

it's the bike cuck

You can't crit on skill checks.

bikecuck was better when he was bikecuck and not yuricuck

Thread cuck

Post one of those comics where he draws himself in girl clothes. "For the joke" of course.

House rule.

I've never played dnd and had a chuckle at this one.

You’re supposed to come up with a backstory as to why you’re “dumbass” character can decipher the runes in this particular case, retards. It’s a fucking ROLE PLAYING GAME for fuck’s sake.

nat 20 means success on anything XDDD

dumb normalfags

if there's no chance why are they rolling

It's more fun that way though

bikecuck

end yourself

Because of the shitty DM who is afraid of saying "no" to players, he should just tell players of dumbass characters that their characters can't succeed in this particular challenge unless the player of dumbass character has proper non-asspull arguments for a chance.

because the DM doesn't know how to say no

Is this the lol thread?

It's a stupid house rule.
If a character has never seen the runes before, how does it makes sense for them to just "get lucky" and magically know what they say?
To keep the DC unknown to other players as to prevent metagaming. If just the one player doesn't meet the requirements doesn't mean the others can't try.

they're not rolling INT to decipher the runes, that's what they're trying to do, but that is impossible for them
they're actually rolling INT to see if they remember seeing similar runes on books in the study of the wizard they met a few weeks back

why did his already mediocre drawing skills collapse?

bikecuck

you should only use attribute when none of the skills really fit with what you are trying to do

because he is a retard, dice rolls do not bend reality
if you see some cypher and you have no idea what the fuck it says then thats the end of it. No roll is going to magically bestow that knowledge upon you

Twitter artists are so goddamn unfunny and unoriginal

female elf

Ah yes, it all coming up together.

he could guess it

the only comic from bike cuck that made me chuckle

He is not going to troon out

That is not how this works at all.
Even if you really want to stretch it, the GM should add narrative. And with something like this its easy.

nat 20 on deciphering

you remember seeing an image of this artifact in a book you read earlier

or

in the village you passed trough, you heard rumors it might be xyz, as they still use parts of this language in their daily lives, and you just remembered it

Also a nat 20 wont just suddenly allow you to do something that would be impossible to do. You won't just magically phase trough a wall just because you rolled a nat 20.

COME HERE DORK

I don't get it
I don't get it
I don't get it

No anon, rolling Nat20 doest mean you get the thing.

I want to fuck the weird blonde haired girl he draws sometimes.

It's so funny to me how much you trannies wanna seethe about a normalfag but all you do is sit here and repost his work, who's really the loser here? The guy who drew it or the retarded niggers circulating it for free

I feel like I’m missing a joke here

anyone who DMs like this sounds like a weak willed faggot
how it should be

I rolled a nat 20 on deciphering!

You tried to decipher it but alas it was not something you could easily decipher

doing this

you rolled a nat20 so divine intervention went back in time and placed a book on a shelf next to you a week ago so that you could see those exact runes in it

bullshit is extremely immersion breaking

This is a LOL thread, you could say the same thing about Dobson or Fuckley

i've listened to acquisitions incorporated and folk & dagger
any other dnd plays worth watching?

berd heeb.jpg - 500x334, 71.34K

That's not how you DM dumb characters. You tell them they succeded in deciphering it and it says something that's completely, stupidly wrong.

So characters have literally no knowledge of the setting they're in before the first session?
Awesome, everyone's an amnesiac who can barely remember how to tie their boots.

*pushes up glasses*
Villagers can't gather Relics.

Yeah, anything other than D&D

Bike cuck

Nigga towered a relic lmaoooooo

newfag not aware of LOL threads

I'mma be honest he's pretty good and the comics posted here are funny. He's still never going to live down bike cuck though.

Third panel can be removed, just have the top of the die show a 20 in the second panel. First panel can remove the "okay". And you can change the first line to "my dumbass is going to decipher"

The runes should also be loss

ROFLMAO

gamer comic.jpg - 914x2372, 3.05M

That would actually be pretty fun to play. Everyone had their memories stolen, and you need to find out who stole them and steal them back.

A classic. Thanks anon

nat 20/1 being auto/win successes exist for the sake of improvized story telling, an idiot can have a lucky guess or a learned genius breaks his glasses becomes unable to read anything.

You don't even have to discard the fact it was a nat20.

Wasting no time, you quickly resolve that that you're unable to decipher it because you lack knowledge of dialect from this era.

Yes so? You like them. It's just that you've been taught that you aren't allowed to enjoy things so instead all the humor must be "lol this is SO BAD that is why it is funny but ofc I never ACTUALLY like anything".

Only works if the campaign is supposed to be goofy and unserious when you want to pull off stupid bullshit like Sir Bearington.

Skillchecks don't have critical hit/miss, you retarded BG3 faggot.

acquisitions incorporated is good, i like rocks and runelords too which is pathfinder, almost all dnd podcasts get pozzed and unlistenable midway through

So is the joke simply just "i'm horny"?

sometimes in my group our DM will do that just to be funny

can I do X?

no

come on, at least let me roll for it!

fine, roll X

die just hits the table

YOU FAIL

Actually it's I'm a simp.

LOL

More like a mix of "I'm a simp for women" and "I'm lonely"
I know this type of man

But he goes on dates and stuff

To give them hope

So like most people on Anon Babble?

Because DnD is a world of magic and wonder, where a random dumbass getting lucky or blessed to figure something out first try is VERY much in the cards.

The joke is that he's suffering and simping, but the big girl gets to enjoy his labor so the net amount of happiness in the world...

that shit is upgraded to Keep, I think it's the Briton one. no way a monk is getting through there even with Fervor. the joke just doesn't hold up.

Not telling the players whether they succeeded or failed is really fun.

Here's something that might surprise you: saving throws don't either. In 5E, the only rolls that have an automatic success on a natural 20 are attack rolls and death saving throws.
Frankly, I don't like that. Saving throws should be an automatic success on a natural 20, because saves should have an element of luck, when you think about it logically.

Is used to read these as they came out on Line. Always liked this guy

To determine the degree of failure
ex. "I want to lift and throw the 2 ton dragon"

Okay, roll an Athletics check.

*rolls a 3, +5 Athletics for a result of 8*

You fail to even slightly budge the dragon

*rolls a 20 for a result of 25*

You cannot throw the dragon, but you did succeed in picking up its claw and pushing it off balance. The dragon's armor class is decreased by 2 and it cannot make opportunity attacks until its next turn.

I roll constitution to fuck the dragon

some day I'll read this....some day....

The person who stole them gets more happiness than I've lost from having them stolen. So the net happiness in the world has increased, and that's a good thing.

I thought about it a bit and came up with an idea or two.
Character memories would also include skill points, spells, and most feats. So, a party of higher level characters have those stripped and get some of them back here and there as the game progresses, meaning they have to go through CR appropriate encounters with just their equipment and creative thinking.
Like, a wizard may have forgotten his spells, but at least he has a wand. Forgot what it does, but he can test it out with a UMD roll. With no skill in UMD, it may or may not blow up in his face.
Or maybe the cleric forgets everything about their God, so has to try bullshitting through their prayers to receive their favor again.
It'd definitely be wacky, and definitely be difficult.

Nat 20 for success yes, and more importantly to influence the players to ACT whenever they can.
Nat 1 having any weight is retarded and only hurts the game.

5e

game design

who gives a shite

a saving throw is a type of skill check so that's not surprising

If you can't weave a narrative around failure, then you're not being a good DM. Maybe things don't turn out as well as they could have, but you shouldn't need to have the players succeed at everything to continue the narrative.

I think if you are being targeted in such a way you can’t succeed on the saving throw your character deserves to die instantly because there’s like no situation where that can happen

Listen and learn, my nogames friend. A nat1 is for things such as the rogue breaking a pick in a lock, and the piece getting stuck in it. The party then has to think of other ways to get to the objective. Improvisation = dynamic fun
However, degree of success rules are far better than nat20/1 bullshit.

I'm sure the mommies got wet reading this

luck

logical

I get what you mean and agree with you, but it's still funny

No, they aren't. Saves represent raw, in-the-moment ability.

Not him but every character having a 5% chance to fail at something banal only works for non serious campaigns as someone else said

The failure is in failing the fucking task. If there is no risk from failure, they shouldn't have even been rolling.
That crit failure is more of a problem than anything else. Its extremely arbitrary and applies poorly to many situations, while cropping up fairly often.

However, degree of success rules are far better than nat20/1 bullshit.

Yes, obviously, but trying to cram the barest parts of that into a d20 system skill check via nat 20/1 is awkward at best.

Bike cuck

That would also be an Athletics check. Once you're fucking it, you can make a Constitution check to see if you can last more than 5 minutes before the dragon milks your cock dry.

If it's something banal and the character isn't pressed for time, you can just skip the roll and take an automatic 10.

No DM who does nat 1/20 fail/success uses that rule lol

Which color dragons have the biggest cunts?

You COULD do something like this:

you rolled a nat 20. The ancient script remains undecipherable, but it looks awful familiar to something a scholar was working on in a town you remember. you note this down

A nat 20 should lead the adventure in different ways.

If a character has never seen the runes before, how does it makes sense for them to just "get lucky" and magically know what they say?

Pretty fucking based, I use the ancestral blood memory and divine guidance excuses all the time.

you fucking retards, the joke is the overexplanatory description of a very specific game reference regarding a joke setup that's about comparing 2 situations where the punchline is usually a quick play on words
I feel like a fucking bot explaning this shit, niggers tongue my anus, fuck off

Anon, you really should lower your expectations here. Everyone has the IQ of a truck tire.

But... That's not how it works.

Believe it or not, the vast majority of people who talk about or make references to D&D have never actually played it. They only watch critical role or similar shows, or read about it in mediocre webcomics. They have an outsider's surface level understanding of it.
This shit is why I only use Anon Babble on altchans nowadays. This Anon Babble is infested with friendless retards who don't actually play tabletop games but still want to try talking about them.

HAHAHAHA
OH
MY
GOD
THIS IS SO FUNNY!

Remove the second guy saying to roll int in the first panel. Remove the second and fourth panel.
Improved but still not funny.

they've been simplifying dnd for a few versions over the decades, I only played version 2 with some handycaps but I heard version 5 is full world of warcraft with second life

The last two panels alone are funny because you have a cute silly looking elf and then she goes big brained like the old meme.

haha

You cant get a nat 20 on a skill check you stupid faggot.

People expecting to get to roll for every single thing they want to try doing is part of why most modern tables are so bland.

Sure the language expert with years of schooling failed to decipher it but my 10 int character that was a farmer until this adventure gets a shot too, right?

No. Or at best, you try and can only fail or crit fail. People shouldn't be expecting "fair shots" at things completely outside the purview of their character's abilities.

scythe2.png - 2000x2900, 2.68M

Imo 3.5 edition is the best, but some complain it has too much bloat. It's all optional, of course, but that doesn't stop them.
By second version, you mean advanced DND? Pretty solid choice.

Good way to just piss everyone off and make them hesitant to believe if they actually succeeded in other situations. Just tell them no and explain why. If you're going to purposely mislead players based off a roll, you better have something already set up for that path or you're just wasting everyone's time to troll them

The fourth panel is redundant as you already displayed the elf. The big brain reveal should be immediate instead of going back to show the elf first.

This is RAW but I haven't played with one DM, over dozens, that didn't at least have nat 20s on skill checks be normal successes.

If I can't at least succeed normally on a nat 20, I probably shouldn't be being asked to make this roll to begin with.

Ultimate confirmation that "TALL WOMEN UHGHHH STRONG MOMMY" fags are actual cuckolds

The nigger that took the time to draw it.

Nah fourth and fifth panel are integral because the contrast is what causes the humor (facial expression change, big brain mode, etc). If anything the first panel is less necessary, because if you see a guy rolling a d20 it's obvious what the context is.

2-4-5 may in fact be the optimal panel structure for the comic because it has no words yet conveys everything important.

Fable lore was cool enough to get me to build my own system and campaign for it. Most wouldn't like the system though since I designed it to be as simple as possible. The goal was to be able to get people who have never played a tabletop RPG into the game in 5-10 minutes. The rules can be written on a recipe card.

What's wrong with that?

If your character can't succeed on a check with a 20, then that means it was never intended for your character, it's there for someone else.

catboy gaming be like

Why would it be an athletics check when the initial check to see if you CAN fuck it should realistically be Diplomacy? Success means you convince the Dragon to fuck, though a separate roll should be required for performance, using Athletics or Sleight of Hand with the attribute modifier being substituted for Charisma or Constitution, with both skill and attribute being player's choice.
Following a successful roll there, THEN you could do a pure Constitution check to see how many rounds they did with the dragon for bragging rights.

then save time and don't let non-proficient people roll

His art got worse?

That's why success and fail should be dynamic.
a 3 int barb can hit a 20 but the results he gets will be wildly different than a 12 from someone proficient and skilled enough to actually decipher it. The barb should get something like the ancient copper negative review on a 20 that was simply made the fuck up and completely wrong, but no one gets any indication that it was actually wrong. If the players trust it simply because it was a 20 roll then that's their problem.

I was under the impression we were raping the dragon, not seducing it.

That's what modifiers are for. The DC should not change.

the bikecuck memes broke him

idc what people say that's actually cute

so what happened? did the cum box get filled?

99.95% of Anon Babble will never experience this.

Why do I need to share my planet with trash like this?

The DC shouldn't change but there should be hidden stat/skill checks sometimes. Modifiers can be used for obvious things like strength tests but for something like attempting to decipher an unknown tablet that cannot provide an absolute yes or no answer to if you actually succeeded or failed shouldn't give the players any indication either.

Good way to just piss everyone offand make them hesitant to believe if they actually succeeded in other situations

PCs should always second guess and try to prod at it, you shouldn't hand out complete answers without a lot of effort on their part regardless

Just tell them no and explain why

While there are situations where it is appropriate to tell a player that they failed but that their character doesn't know it, it is often better to avoid telling them altogether

Anon, if you have to explain the joke..

Others are allowed to roll as to not outright tell everyone what the DC is to prevent metagaming. A character trying and failing to do something is still roleplaying. Let's say a rogue with language skills sees the runes first, and wants to decipher them. He fails since the runes are in no language he's ever heard of. The then calls the wizard over to see if he can make sense of them. Turns out he can, since those are actually magical sigils for a binding spell or something. That's a lot more engaging than just telling your wizard player to go to that specific pillar yourself.

Funny Katie's comic gets 0 replies nowadays because in this festering pit we're only loathing and obsessing about bad things now

How did bikecuck get so cute? I was laughing at him when the comic came out, but now...

Actually it's because it's an only mildly funny comic that everyone has already seen because it's 10 years old

Holy fucking wall of text. No comic needs that many words.

Obviously it's' because you became a homosexual and got attracted to wimps. There's no other explanation for your lust for dudes.

hahahaha.jpg - 605x381, 155.66K

Ok, I was leaving in some details for the general audience but 2-4-5 would be fine, as well.

So what, I always give my respect to funny comics even after being there for nearly two decades. Yet 100 posts in : 0 replies. Grim.

It's funnier/cuter without the final panel.

file.png - 1366x1350, 1.49M

Swap panels 1 & 2, idiot.
No, I won't do it myself.

Clearly, 4-2-5 is the best way to optimize the comic. Setup, action, results. Superior storytelling, superior joke.

post the lewd one and I'll give toss out a (you)

Scientifically optimal comedy.

Then replace diplomacy with Intimidate using either Strength or Charisma modifier. If they fail that check, proceed to combat and require players to find some means of either Grappling the dragon (As per rules, you cannot normally grapple creatures more than 1 size category larger than you) or applying incapacitated some other way. At that point though, it wouldn't be a skill check it would be a contest, you rolling against the dragon who could also try breaking free every round.
At that point I'd say either Athletics or Sleight of Hand contested against the Dragons Con or Will save, with every X times someone loses, they receive a stack of exhaustion. House rule that if the raped get 6 exhaustion this way, instead of dying they mind break into enjoying it.

Modern DND has ruined so many peoples perception of TTRPG's. This isn't even how skillchecks work. Nat 20 doesn't and should not guarantee a success, there HAVE to be limits and things your players simply cannot do but this is almost entirely how DND 5E is built, its basically impossible to fail or die in that system. There is no stakes.

"but but but I rolled nat 20 that means i do the thing!"

Nat 20 just means that your character did it to the best of their ability, the optimal performance of the action. It doesn't mean you suddenly bend reality and can comprehend things you have never known or could never do.

No because that would make it objectively worse. Panel 1 introduces that he's playing D&D, panel two introduces his character before/during the roll, panel three is the payoff with the implication that he rolled nat 20.

Putting panel 2 first makes it redundant AND ruins the payoff of the result of the roll.

RAW in 5e says you can only crit on attacks and death saves.
This retardation is the popularization of a house rule such that nogames faggots think it's standard.

can TTRPGs be saved

They don't need to be, there are many great systems already, tons of genres and options to play both in person and online, TTRPG's are in the best condition they have ever been. It's just that the biggest one DND is currently really shitty and casualized.

karen-ass post, nobody's seething but you, this shit's funny

You shouldn't reveal it as D&D from the start.
Placing the dice roll after the meta-scenario exposition embeds a paraprosdokian element.
Retard.

based

This dude is 2 years away from trooning out. He's such a pathetic effeminate simp that he's a borderline transbian.

god i hope he doesn't. i like him as he is right now.

The joke is that the dice roll magically augments his character's intellect.
It's ridiculing abuse of the mechanic.
dumb character -> dice roll -> smart character

I like tall chicks not short little runt women. Especially since they always have some tall goober as their accessory. 5’11” by the way.

If a character has never seen the runes before, how does it makes sense for them to just "get lucky" and magically know what they say?

You are not your character, and it can make sense narratively if that character remembers something from his past or has an epiphany studying the runes.
If the DM asks for a roll it means it can be done, how it's done it's left up to narrate.

want to play frosthaven

$250 freedom dollars

$100 vidya has nothing on board games

Just don't play modern D&D. 3.5 is most grognards still play, but we tend to stick with different systems. The Warhammer 40k one has gained some popularity from the meme channels and is really fun. I personally prefer Savage Worlds, but I have a big soft spot for this game called Polaris. Made by Frenchies iirc, it's a sci-fi waterworld game. Super cool, I recommend buying the physical books, they're very high quality.

You're missing the humor impact of having the before and after picture right next to each other. The effect of the roll is implied find regardless of where the rolling panel is, but you get maximum impact of the change by having the before and after visually close to each other.

It actually literally doesn't, you've big brained yourself so hard you've looped back to small brain. All putting the rolling panel in the middle does is break up the sequence TWICE rather than just having one paradigm change.

If a 20 won't succeed, you shouldn't be rolling the dice at all

Wow, you'd be a shit fucking DM.
You don't just make things up about players' characters.
If there's an established reason they might be able to succeed, you lower the DC.
Otherwise, they have no business succeeding.
They can always roll, though.

Modern DND DM's are afraid to say no to players or let their players fail let alone die because modern players think they ARE their character.
Think about it from an actual gameplay standpoint, imagine as the DM you know even a nat 20 on the skillcheck is a failure because its simply not possible for your players, if you don't let them roll it becomes

"Okay I see the runes, I roll to see if I can decipher them"

and then the DM says

"No. No rolling. You don't get to try, you can't do it."

Which is basically telling them not to play the game and doesn't feel fun or enjoyable for the players. It's important to remember that you play TTRPG's for fun and the DM's first priority should be to create an enjoyable experience.

You're going to injure yourself with those idiot gymnastics

Nah he's gonna repress forever like Arin Hanson.

If you want to play 3.5 why would you not just play Pathfinder instead?

uh yeah, that's how it works
nat 20 is autosuccess, the normie meme is exaggerating it like "your 5 int character rolled 20, they intuitively and fluently understand this dead nation's language, their class is next week"

Not that anon but something like this i suppose?

1111.png - 2033x815, 1.1M

You don't know until you try.
Never divulge meta knowledge to your players.
If they ask to roll, it's because they think it's possible.
Let them.

I don't play DnD, but why do you have to say "nat 20" instead of "20"? We all know what die you're rolling, you should have to tell us if we don't, right?

Because 3.5 still has a bunch of content Pathfinder doesn't. With my friends, we essentially merge the two since they're the same thing and just play homebrew campaigns. Last game I played was officially Pathfinder, but I was allowed to port over a 3.5 artificer. Pretty fun mixing it up in modules.

Modifiers.
Nat 20 is a crit
16 + 4 (bonuses) is not

Is this referencing a game? I understand the joke anyway but I don't know the game.

DnD more like Dumb 'n' Dumber amiroite?

Pathfinder 1E is literally just an extension of 3.5 and is made to be fully backwards compatible so if you want to play 3.5 you can use Pathfinder 1E things and there is a gigantic amount of content available to you which is what a lot of people do.

It's for a house rule. Typically, for skill checks, if you roll a 20 on die, you add your modifiers and announce the sum. Sometimes it's easier to just say nat20 if your GM knows your skills(he should).
Every GM worth their salt should skim over the player's sheets real quick before each session to refamiliarize themselves with the characters.
Anyway, if a player calls out nat20, that's usually exceeds any given skill check for their level, but sometimes it doesn't, so the GM still asks them for their sum. They may still fail.

It's a trope.
Hooded arch-cultists giving audience to some peon.
AssCreed Unity did it.

That would be good too but a cute drawing getting people to say it's cute is also cute.
CUTE

You got that from the cute fruit girls comics he is doing?
how?

I usually house rule nat 20 skill checks as well. For example if a character gets a nat 20 on a stealth roll they are so sneaky they lose themselves. Roll a new character. If they get a nat 20 on an athleticism check they backfilp into space and suffocate. Roll a new character.

roll a 20 and slip into a fucking singularity

Not again...

Isn't that a genderbent version of himself?

No, it is the banana girl
she is a failure like comic shen, but besides that their characters have nothing in common

every action having a 5% chance of automatic success is not how any of that is supposed to work

As a forever GM of some 15 years, I'm becoming more of a Kubrick when it comes to how you handle players/actors.

Simply: fuck them.

You better believe I will troll the fuck out of them if they want a solution handed to them. Privileged douches are not getting a solution and sure as hell are gonna spend hours/sessions trying to progress or they will find another way to progress, find a different thing to explore, forever not solving this particular thing.

Don't like it? Let someone else be a Dm/fuck off. Guess what, they are still here, playing.

It's not an automatic success in DnD, only BG3. But also DnD fucking sucks donkey dick so maybe it's better that way.

As a fellow forever GM of about 15 years as well, I would love to play in your games from the sounds of it. The few times I get to play, it always feels like the GM is holding everyone's hand and never actually giving us any challenge or agency.
Sometimes my wife and I do solo campaigns with eachother. I always tell her to fuck my characters up if she wants to. It's more fun overcoming adversity than being given a gold star every session.

Idgi, where's the amogus?

"Shen will totally troon out any minute now" says the increasingly nervous Anon for the 5th year in a row

Okay groomer.

Nah, he, like joecat, is too self aware of his appearance to troon out. The most he'll do is roleplay as a girl online. He knows he'll never be a woman and he won't actually try. Worst he'll do is try to pull a pyrocynical and become a femboy.

That's nuDnD for you

False. Rules as written state you can only crit on an attack roll or a death saving throw.
The epic nat20 meme has always been from retards who don't actually play tabletop games, such as the guy who wrote Sir Bearington.

So, like OnlyAfro (I guess nobody remember him anymore)?

SHE WAS ONLY 32 HOW COULD YOU GROOM HER INTO BEING TRANS????

Thank god none of you retards will ever be dungeon masters.

Anon, I wish I DIDN'T HAVE to be the GM all the fucking time.

on a skill check

nigger what
Does bike cuck even know you can still fail a 20 roll?

You should've already had that mindset from the get go, especially if you regularly play with randos like I do.

That wouldn't be an interesting roll, that'd be a perception check. It'd also be fucking lazy and worthless to have the check to begin with if the solution was right next to it.

It wasn't right next to it, the DM came up with it to explain the nat roll.
Do you have to fucking write everything down in advance?

If my GM wasn't garbage, I wouldn't have the dumbass character be able to ever decipher an ancient rune unless it was some kind of hidden arcana shit the player had in his pocket.

Youre saying the GM should retcon what he already planned out. Sounds like absolute dogshit and you fucking know it

post the one with planet making colonist schizo

Stick to your D&Dslop

I don't play DnD, try again.

dreams about being a LADYbug

AGP CONFIRMED

As much as I hate bike cuck, this one is actually kinda funny.
Is that from a game or are they just generic hooded niggas?

be more like Greg

man likes women

IS HE GAYYY???

A sign of the times

Tabletop RPGs are lame and gay and have been rendered completely obsolete by vidya.

If someone rolls a Nat20 in a situation like this isnt the DM supposed to come up with some silly handwavy thing like, the dumbass 9-int elf finds an instruction manual behind that statue that says what the runes mean or something like that?

Yes faggots can like women.

Greg, I can barely tell if that's a squig herder or a night goblin. Please move it closer.

I fucking hate this specific comic. A shallow joke barely worth one panel taking up four. Fuck this comic and fuck bike cuck.

The one with the genie is also chuckleworthy imo.

I'm NEVER reading this shit

The only genie comic I know that's funny is the one where the dude rubs a dead guys but to accidentally summon the genie.

Cuckfinder autist

enjoying things without obsessing over (you)s is one of the joys of overcoming mental illness.

Why does he try to appeal to nerds if he doesn't actually know what he's referencing?

In this case gay is just a shorthand for effeminate or emasculated

It can happen honestly. I remember back in primary school the teacher was playing some game where you needed to pick a letter off a board and she'd read a dictionary definition of a word beginning with that letter and you'd get a point if you got it right.

The letter was M and the definition was something like "what's the process that animals go through to change from one form to another, such as a caterpillar to a butterfly". Since we were all around 8 years old no one knew and just as she was about to move on I shot my hand up with literally no clue what to say and in a random moment my mind went to the Yugioh card "Megamorph" which I always misread as "Metamorph" and I just said "metamorph-a-sis..." in a really unsure way which turned out to be correct.

I like how he draws himself as a pathetic little chibi I guess. That's sorta funny.
I can relate though, I'm horrible at any fighting game other than Skullgirls. I play a MEAN valentine, and that's pretty much it.

Your ancestors guided you that day.
Praise them or no one else shall.

The joke sucks ass if it needs to be explained any further than giving the person's thought process a push in the right direction.

I have no friends and never played Dungeons & Dragons.

You can find online games for that.

t. currently in a campaign with randos and enjoying every second of it

If that fag is considered to be straight then I no longer want to be straight.

when you're a feminist cuck that won't make any joke at a woman's expense all that's left are gay jokes, i think that's why modern media like deadpool is so overwhelmingly gay now, to not offend the roastie audience

Nah try again

Oh yeah the butt genie one is good.

I can relate to this.
t. artist working from home

Did Bendis write this god damn.

Every single comic being “video game logic silly” gets tiring after 10+ years.

The fact that a roll was asked for implies there was a chance of success. Denying a nat 20 means you've wasted my time and everyone else's time pissing off the group.

Could had been told in 2 panels and comedic timing would work better.

What the fuck does that have to do with tall women?

gave me a slight chuckle

jrpgs

gregma ballss...

I laughed at several of these. I guess you could say he made my overall happiness increase.

At least he sorta understands us gregmas. We're a bit too autistic to keep ourself from getting so excited we fail to follow directions.

buy and ad shen.

This meek soft effeminate low test faggot is what I imagine the average coomers/simps who post here to look and act like.

it's a cry for help, he needs to get laid

he's horny for them
that's it

What the actual fuck

kek

I know it's a hard job and thanks for doing it.

Nobody cares about the systems I would master myself, and I don't care about the systems for the games I'm in to be the gamemaster there.

Cute Spearglin.

That's literally how it works though

He's the definition of a straggot.

I think an aztec monk would have a chance thoughbeit

The best genie related comic will always go to

i wish you were gay

I can never find those old comics with the shape men

This guy's always been shit, ever since his beginnings at Facepunch

Shit, there's a name I haven't heard in a long time

I unironically like Shen's stuff, I find his art charming and his comics are usually funny...

Critical Role and it's consequences have been a disaster for the tabletop community

sexo with fighting game girl

That's not genie of the butt.

6ft

WAY too short

Giantesscel having a tantrum there's no 60 foot chick

This joke was barely funny the first time someone made it, it's so run into the ground now that it just suggests that the joker is incapable of understanding abstraction

Wait a minute. I recognize that smile!

deep lore.png - 577x230, 151.9K

I can kinda relate to them, but only with mini giantesses. Like, female custodes aren't real, but It'd be neat if they were and if I were a guardsman they deemed important to the Emperor's plan and protected me and cuddled me and stuff.
No homo though.

the joker

nanananana BATMAN!

be honest how much is Shen is paying you to shill his shit here

Anon Babble is just mad that Shen is drawing yuri instead of yaoi which seems to be Anon Babble's favorite type of comics
Especially gay furry comics
