Characters in both new and old Oblivion look like ass and neither versions have good character creators, not to mention that outside of 3rd person view (which I seldom used) and the inventory screen, you don't even see your character's face. I don't see why I'd bother to try and make something less ass than the rest, especially since it's not like Oblivion has meaningf choices even, so even any kind of RP is something I'd have to bring to the table, without the game supporting it that much. At that point, I'll take a couple laughts instead of polishing shit.
