Is Elden Ring the greatest game of all time?
Is Elden Ring the greatest game of all time?
no
Easily
it's differently up there
Elden mid...worst game Fromsoft has ever made...
Fuck no.
It's by far THE worst Souls-slop, and one of THE wirst "open world " games ever conceived.
it got triggered
one of the shittiest From games, huge but copy-pasted world, ruined PvP and inane lore/story that was grafted up at the last moment
Fpbp.
If you have low IQ: yes.
If you have high IQ: Age of Empires 2.
talks about elden ring on her phone so much the autocorrect used graft instead of draft
sussy baka
press button
boss launches into 50 attack combo before your aniamtion finishes
is this what the negroes call skibidi gyat?
Elden Ring is not my favorite game of all time but I think objectively the best game currently in existence
it's intentional baka desu
yea, I’d say so.
Depends on what kind of gamer you are. Some fags won’t even touch a game if it’s not a TV/Movie format. For that reason Elden ring can’t be the greatest game of all time cause there are death stranding niggahs out here who will object
no it wasn't. You just got caught out is all.
grafting up
this was supposed to be drafting up, if it was intentional you'd use the nomenclature with grafting like grafted together the lore at the last moment.
a single question that always buckbroke Anon Babble
age of empires
Lmfao look at this faggot
fpbp
Post a webm that proves that ER is the best game ever.
I know two types of people who played ER.
People who have played most if not all other souls games that finished all of ER and consider it a middling entry in the series.
People who have played one, or no other souls games that proclaim to be souls fans but either didn't finish ER at all or only one playthrough and consider it the best.
Dark Souls 3 (the worst Dark Souls game) but stretched thin and full of copy-pasted content
Yeah nah.
Played all souls game and i think it's second best (first one is sekiro)
Have played and clocked all
ER is definitely the peak FromSoft action RPG
Sekiro and Bloodborne have no build variety
DS is cool up until you get the Lord Vessel
/thread
Started in the 1st wave of playasia importers on Anon Babble for demon's souls. ER is leaps and bounds my favorite. Sekiro is also very very good for being dfferent enough.
nobody likes sekiro, it's literally only played by niggers
nobody likes sekiro
*won goty*
Exploration way be top notch but the combat is just way too boring to be GOAT. It just revolves around light, strong, dash, jump and dodge attacks + ashes and thats all.
From needs to look into Nioh. Having multiples stances/movesets in one weapon, multiple customizable techniques and dynamic combos potential would make the game far more fun. They also need to drop the faggy rolls, that shit looks beyond silly and archaic in 2025. Go back to normal dodges like in bloodborne and sekiro for the love of God
Sekiro is good but I really can't get myself to replay it.
Based DS2 ignorer.
I got filtered on Genny first time and then went back a year later and beat the game. It feels like I've played it twice because of how it stuck in my mind.
cope retard
you are wrong
Literal opposite of me. Sekiro is the only game I can justify multiple playthroughs for. I've beaten it like 4 times and 100%ed it. Probably 'cause it's short, the combat is fun, and the bosses are good
make demons souls
excellent exploration game
each area provides rewards for looking around the corner
while adding punishing enemies as obstacles
topped off with a boss fight as a set piece for each area
make elden ring
a complete derivative of the genre
copy paste every corner
make rewards worthless or uninteresting
copy paste bosses
it ruined exploration, which was the genre's greatest strength as the combat is so simple and basic that the only way you can scale difficulty is to increase the tempo, further removing what made the original great
cope
retard
Says the nigger STILL coming to Anon Babble and using a sony and microsoft joint expo to sell shitty console games as his only source of an opinion
I beat the game in one go, and I played it blind and with 0 expectations. That first playthrough was the best gaming experience I've had to this day. However, Sekiro is the kind of game you can only finish twice or three times before stagnation sets in. Right now I even dread the idea of replaying it.
literal braindamage
Elden Ring's open world is one of the best, and I'm tired of pretending it isn't.
Says the actual knuckledragging thief that stole somebody's phone to post about how his internal monologue is a variety of commercials he's seen throughout the day
Let me guess, you're obsessed with shoes like some kind of woman
As someone who no lifed both the main game and dlc I laugh at you losers who whined and cried until they made it easier. Beating pre patch radahn both times will forever be amazing and you'll never get to experience that
It certainly seems to be
Redditors will spam soijaks because they think TLoU and Hollow Knight are peak gaming
You mean when they patched the DS2 tier hitboxes on radahn?
I've beaten it like 4 times
4 measly playthroughs. You prove my point. Most people who are into souls have finished they favorite entries 30+ times, and each playthrough can be spiced up by either sequence breaking, using meme/obscure weapons, trying niche builds, trying to beat the game using only items (firebombs, etc). And not to mention the roleplaying potential provided by the fact that souls agems have a character creator and a wide range of fashion choices. You can do a Guts playthrough, you can turn your PC into an edgy anime character, you can even roleplay as Zeus. When it comes to Sekiro, I think you can squeeze 5 playthroughs out of it AT MOST.
you'll never get to experience that
Just download the 1.12 version from fitgirl.
They can't even beat a boss, you think they're going out of their way to download previous versions of the game? They probably don't even fuck with mods or randomizers
I feel ya. When I got filtered the first time on Gen I actually unfiltered myself but dropped the game (I think AC6 just came out and I played that).
The game clicked and the rhythm game comparisons became apt. I got the back and forth and could ace thru earlier areas while trying to get better.
But the thrill wasn't there anymore. I saw the combat for what the devs wanted me to do and the excitement and panic of the underdog wasn't there anymore. The spark died.
When I went back and really beat it, once only mind you, it was still fun but not as fun as that first 5 hours when I was getting my ass handed to me.
Sekiro 2 or something would be cool. I liked the souls gameplay without souls leveling.
I don't see how radahn having broken hitboxes and generally being a shit raid boss has anything to do with the game actually being good
ER has the best replayability of all entries which is a big plus
same and I think it really comes down to this. In DS you can start fresh with a build, weapons and magic you've never tried before, while in Sekiro you're stuck fighting with the same sword the same enemies you already know how to parry. Doesn't help the game is fairly linear (not as bad a ds3 tho kek)
ER has the best replayability
it has the worst replayability, that's why everybody was using cheat engine day 1 to cheat all their equipment in and dropping it to friends
There were even websites selling souls and gear
No that would be link to the past
But elden ring is probably the best game released in the past 10 years
People do that for every From game you disingenuous fag.
largest amount of weapons and areas available from the very start of the game in any FS game
worst replayability
?
Most people who are into souls have finished they favorite entries 30+ times
Lmao no. Souls obsessed redditors who compete with each other to see who can do the biggest meme tier fake difficulty playthrough are not "most people into souls games". They are the equivalent of troons who compete in irl speedrun competitors for some obscure dreamcast game.
BA-BA-BASEED!
same here bro.
Dark Souls 1 falls off post Biggie and Smalls, Dark Souls 2 is either it clicks for you and you love it or you hate it. Dark Souls 3 is a linear piece of shit. It isn't surprising some people say ER is their favorite. I imagine it's either 2 or Elden Ring for most people. People who say 1 is the best are just nostalgic. If you say 3, then I know Dark Souls 3 was your first Dark Souls. If you say Bloodborne then I know you're just a faggot. If you say Sekiro, not a souls like but you're probably a cool guy anyway.
stumble around spooky forest with scary oneshot enemies randomly scattered about
realize there's just 2 of them
realize the spooky mansion at the end is 3 rooms
it's shit area blows dicks compared to new londo ruins
It occurs to me that they had to Nerf both versions of Radahn because he was too hard both times. What a lad
No
I just clubbed him to death on my horse with the watchdog staff it took like 2 tries, I didn't get to his second form because the dlc is reddit slop
I love it but I have the same two problems that everyone else have with it.
Horse and open world sucks on sequential playthroughs and you get over leveled too easily if you explore too much
I pirated elden ring during the first week, it was both the hardest and easiest fromsoft game
can go anywhere from the start
can go under leveled into a fight and struggle
or go over leveled and curb stomp everything with ease
dogshit design, making Radahn both the hardest and easiest fight
so it's the best, since Sekiro isn't a Souls game
Having played all of them ER is easily my favourite one.
It's the only one (besides Sekiro) where I actually felt a need to reconsider how I approach an attack beyond which direction to dodge.
Honestly i think they're both the best
it's a game, for sure
BEHOLD! I AM THE ANGEL OF OBJECTIVE QUALITY! MY TASTE IS SUPERIOR TO ALL OTHERS, AND ALL WHO DISAGREE ARE INTELLECTUAL WEAK!
BEHOLD:
BB > DS1 > Sekiro > DeS > DS3 > ER > DS2 Vanilla > DS2 SOTFS
There's actually at least 5 untouchables. Unlike in New Londo, where there really are just two of the really horrible sludge monsters
You're right. The game was turned into action slop at my expense.
