Post bosses who were disappointingly easy after limp-wristed Anon Babble weaklings overhyped their difficulty

3rd try

like every ER boss. i can only assume its cause people were new to souls cause there was so much bitching over even shit like margit

Build?

You had to try 3 times?

Blasphemous Blade, Greatshield, STR+FTH and fully upgraded Mimic

lol, took you 3 tries for that?

This is waaay back in the day, but people used to meme about how Alma in Ninja Gaiden was super hard and I beat her in 1 try on my first playthrough

Yeah, just until I realized you can spam R2 to stunlock her

Most people complaining weren't using summons. Everyone I saw using summons clocked her pretty fast. Game just isn't designed around them.

The other way around, it isn't designed without a summon. It's clear from the amount of gang rape bosses that exist and make no sense to solo for a normal player (it's possible but clearly not meant to be played that way)

those bosses have had patched behavior for years now. at this point complaining about them is like complaining about 15fps blighttown and dragon butts being too aggro in izalith

I hate this cunt like you wouldn't believe
Radahn won

I played on release

The other way around, it isn't designed without a summon.

mimmic tear and blasphemous blade is literally a free win. its clearly not designed around that.

and yet here you are still talking about elden ring despite only playing it once.

it's a strong build but it's in the game
not my fault other people are bad at making a good build :o)

Solo? You dumbfuck?

mimic

bahahhahahaha Dunning-Kruger faggot

You took 3(THREE) tries?

Blasphemous Blade,

you didnt beat the game

Her and Radagon are the only good bosses in this game.

Your fault is being a special needs special snowflake chunnibyou. Your mimic literally carried you. It takes the aggro off you. Doubles your DPS. True Souls gamer do not use any assists at all.

No assists in Sekiro

Only faggots uses summons in Souls and Bloodborne

Come back here when you could actually solo Malenia. Else, you're a Dunning-Kruger faggot, like every 99% of weebs.

I'm sorry anon.

no he already said he used a fextralife build with mimic itt

Yeah makes sense lol

It's even better with BB cause you can spam R2 with your mimic which will stunlock anything

mimic

You didn't beat her.

No fucking way hahahaha

limp-wristed Anon Babble weaklings

3rd try

lmao you're one to talk

fully upgraded Mimic

It's the kind of Skyrim weeb faggot kiddie that goes to IGN reading articles on "Hot to Get This X Blade and Y Staff" and immediately get to it in the first playthough right away, watched "How To Get 10000000EXP Here" videos on Youtube, and learned all the movesets from watching Youtube cheese tactics etc instead of learning the boss by heart. And proceed to brag about it here. Why are all edgelords like this? I get it if you're still fucking 16y.o, fucking underaged posting in Anon Babble. But if you're fucking 30, kill yourself.

She took me like 2 or 3 days, very fun. I think not building the players' skill to learn how to piece together how you're supposed to dodge crazy attacks like WFD is a complete failure on the game devs part though. Until this point there is literally no attack you dodge in a similar manner in ANY souls game, maybe they should have thrown some attacks or minibosses at you where you had to mess with their tracking to get out of a combo - or a flurry attack you had to outrun and then roll into to dodge it.
That being said move in a vacuum is fine and I do like how everyone ended up having to come up with their own weird strategy for it or adjusting their build or chucking snowballs at her (probably the most visually hilarious shit ever when you chuck one at her while she's winding it up and she just falls to the ground).
Also

OH NOOOO I HAVE TO PLAY MORE OF THIS AWESOME GAME THAT I LIKE AND AM GOING TO TALK ABOUT FOR YEARS AIIIEEE MIMIC TEAR SAVE ME

Idk man. If you use summons I have nothing against that. It's the obsession with difficulty WHILE simultaneously purposely playing the game to get every boss over with as quickly as possible that seems a bit insincere

I BURNA THE PIZZA MAMA MIA

You played the game correctly

samefagging

lol
lmao

Stop laughing please

mimic

3 tries

lmao.webm - 580x634, 2.82M

Endure

easy game

True Souls gamer

Is that like Perseverance from DS3?

mimic

kek, might as well just use cheat engine.

He was right about aggro and damage at least. Unlike true summons the ashes don't even increase boss HP or posture

Not true, I figured out the build myself
I've been playing Dark Souls for 10 years. This build is what I always use, because I like it :)

No, you basically have infinite poise for a very short amount of time, i played with claws, spammed endure and just healed against any damage with my flasks. Its funny but you dont really partake in the game since you ignore all the mechanics.

Absolutely based
Tryhards keep seething

Using summons at all

That bri'ish girl never left the fireplace in my save.

That's what pers is

But summons are fun... my favorite class in Diablo 2 is Necro, in WoW I played a Warlock, I just enjoy summoning stuff. Middle manager playstyle is so chill, you never feel alone, you summon your own friends...

Wouldn't be in the game if they didn't account for it. They've had plenty of time to patch it too. To me this says, rather clearly that it was designed around it.

Loskid in AI Limit gets really easy when you learn the parryable moves and timings. Some earlier bosses are harder as they're harder to parry

didnt it just gave you poise back? well its technically the same then

Summoning in souls is nothing like managing actual spell summons in other games stop capping

i only used the 3 wolves, not useful at all but i just liked to have them around, i like wolves

Not that people hype him up as a hard boss, but people do hype up Omega as a cool boss often, but he's so easy it ruins the fight. He's a complete pushover with two forgettable phases and the fight is over before you know it.

Feels the same
I was always looking forward to seeing my Mimic friend again

Yeah I used those as well. It's a pretty cool mechanic imo. I wish they made it a bit more complex, maybe for some next game. Perhaps they could add some strategy mechanic (like send your summon to go collect some herbs or whatever the fuck), adjust appearance...

A lot of the weapons were stronger on release, especially anything that had bleed or frost. First time I fought Malenia she got ass-raped so hard by poleblade that when she went to phase II over half her health vanished.
