it’s a good 6/10. getting jokers is fun and interesting but everything else about the game is kind of shit. staring at the literal same screen forever gets old and having marginally different decks is not motivating. I could see this being a great $5 game you play on the shitter but it doesn’t belong on a dedicated gaming device

this game is crack to me but only on the steam deck the controls are even better than at a pc or laptop. you still have the mouse cursor but you can play and discard with the back buttons. I tried playing it on my laptop and actually clicking and dragging everywhere was annoying and boring on a trackpad

I've done Purple Stake for all decks except Erratic. Currently getting to Purple with Erratic and then will try and Orange Stake all decks.

Around Blue Stake it definitely becomes a resetting crapshoot, but still fun.

It’s fun for a hot minute but you’ve either got to be a masochist or have literally nothing worthwhile going on in your life to “complete” it. There’s plenty of ways to mitigate RNG but sometimes you’ll have a perfect setup and still get fucked in the ass.

Basically you should play it until the exact moment where you realize you’re bored and then drop it like a sack of hammers

I tried this on my phone. I hated the roguelike elements. I thought you kept the cards you got during a run but you don't. You just get a jpg of them in a gallery. So fucking dumb.

Or try beating the Challenge Runs. Though I doubt you'd make it past Typecast and that's being extremely generous.
