I love FF7 but let's be honest let's say OG FF7 never existed and rebirth came out as a new game, I don't think people would like it that much. I love it, but that's because I am obsessed with the characters and I like watching them interact through the adventure.
the best non-boss battle themes are the tutorial battle which you only hear a couple of times and the merchant battles which you only hear sparingly
Rebirth has the best gameplay of any game SE has ever made (specifically SE, post-merger). If the original FF7 never existed it would be wildly popular because there wouldn't be legions of asshurt retards refusing to touch it because the cutscenes aren't how they wanted.
