Far Cry 2 does not belong, it's a solid game that's closer to the modern ones than Far Cry 1. FC1 plays nothing like the rest of the series.

Bioshock 2 is the best in the series and doesn't belong here. I don't like Far Cry 2 but can see why someone would prefer it over the others.

Nah, it's genuinely pretty good. Not better than the first one, but good. A worthy sequel. In fact, a more worthy sequel than Infinite even with its nostalgiabait DLC.
Fallout 3
Correct. Game is dogshit and somehow simultaneously normalfagbait AND contrarianbait, which is a fairly unique achievement.

Correct in the sense that it's way inferior to the first game but it's alright. Worth a play. The third one too especially with a friend.
Doom 3
Correct. But really, every game after this one is wildly inferior to the original Doom as well.

You know what's actually contrariancore? Deadly Shadows. That game fucking sucks aside from one or two levels, and there are way too many people on Anon Babble that pretends it's not shit. In fact, a lot of them pretend it's even close to being as good as 1 or 2. THAT'S contariancore. I don't think I've ever seen someone pretend Thi4f is good.

Also never seen anyone pretend this one is good.
Dark Souls II
It's contrariancore but honestly I respect the contrarians here. I don't agree with them, but it's such an odd duck game with such a different feel that went for so many different things and has a different design philosophy that I can understand why some people would like it or even prefer it to all other Souls games.

Much like F.E.A.R. 2 and Crysis 2, it's correct and worth a play. Also, even though the newer Hitman games are way better designed, Absolution was the last game before Hitman went live service slop, which I miss.

Frog man, the thing about dark souls 2 is people actually played it. It wasn't the best but it was more souls. For many of us it was the first souls game we beat without a guide. It was all we had to play for years while we waited for the 3rd game.

Serious Sam II was as good as the previous one. The last game was meh and got bailed by the Siberian expansion, but overall the francize is solid.

I love Fear 2. I've played through it at least 7/8 times on PC and Xbox 360. I tried the first Fear and thought it was kind of mediocre.
The story wasn't as good but everything else was a genuine improvement. The gameplay is good. I've beaten that game like 8 times

Looking glass faggots are insufferable in the sense that they couldn't deal with Thief DS being a good stealth game rather than Thief game. If you want true contrarianism core it's Splinter Cell Blacklist and Conviction. The only part that could possibly save Blacklist was the multiplayer, but otherwise it was getting short changed.

The real contrarian MGS game would be one of the side spin offs especially Ghost Babel which people go see it is actually better than the Kojima written ones because it was written by Fukushima and they really want to not like MGS without liking Kojima.
