How and why does that prevent them for putting paid mods in?

Starfield has a number of really shitty limitations in the game and in its mod tools that weren't in previous beth games, and there are far more compatibility issues across mods.
While it does have the advantage of over a decade of progress allowing for the stuff they can do now, Skyrim continues to be the ideal modding platform when it comes to freedom to fuck around. Oblivion Remastered is also more appealing.

Great, so now it's split between that and the old game

star wars had a bit of western in it with han solo but it was relatively minor compared to some of the other tropes. Firefly is the one that leaned extremely heavily into it to the point that it was really more of a western show with some small sci-fi elements

I thought this was obvious, the game is too shit to be worth attempting to polish up and doesn't have the name recognition Fallout/Elder Scrolls have to save it so everyone's jumped ship and it won't surprise me if Bethesda does after the next expansion comes out

Unless they biblically fumble I dont think it'll ever be this bad again, starfield is just a one-two knockout of an empty setting and an empty gameplay experience, TES at least has its setting and gameplay, so they'd have to actively try to fuck it up

It's boring. There are literally no good quests and the gunplays bad. The melee / unarmed is comically bad and very obvious they never intended for anyone to even use it. Also the way skills work sucks ass.

Starfield's problem is the base game is so incredibly uninspiring nobody wants to touch it. It's a great modding platform though, all someone needs to do is make an overhaul mod that erases pretty much 100% of the base game and serves as an interesting template for modders.

The contrast between the reception of Starfield and the Oblivion remaster is funny but it applies to everything.
Every remaster and remake that has released in the past few years has been at least mildly if not greatly successful. Every new IP has been a dismal failure.
Stop trying to make new games, studios. It isn't going to happen. Just milk nostalgia.

Because Starfield is a garbage game with too many flaws. It's the reason why people gladly make mods for Morrowind, Skyrim, and FNV, but not Fallout 4.

FO4 modding scene was good, I don't get why people say this kind of shit. There are so many mods for that game and some great stuff. Several TCs, shit tons of gameplay mods, tons of cosmetic mods.

There are thousands of mods that aren't on the nexus too, there's an annoying amount of FO4 modding discords out there.

By making it a pain in the ass to swap out because having your franchise be associated with coomers is bad for morale.

I don't mind them but there's no good way to find them most of the time so you're just automatically fucked out of some mods for every game now.
