The way things are set up, you'll only receive a trophy once the current "room" where you unlocked it ends. You'll miss getting it if you turn off the game before then. So be careful while completing all four chapters.
Especially, there may be certain conditions where you will miss acquiring the CHAPTER END trophies. I don't think it's something an average player would run across, however…
Toby is implying that if you fulfill "certain conditions" (Weird Route) you can actually change the ending of certain chapters, and therefore fail to get the achievement which is set up only to trigger when you complete them normally ("WITHOUT ISSUE.")
Toby hates trophies but this is actually a pretty cool way to reinforce the idea that the Weird Route is forcing the game off the script. And it's really cool to have it basically confirmed that we can really change the story going forward, unlike with Snowgrave where you still got exactly the same ending.
I think he's referring to the original PS3 achievements interview where he said he wanted to do something to fuck with people because achievements were permanent.

Is there any value to net he neutral route? So far, deltarune only gives you pacifist but worse, since it forces you through subliminal messaging to get the recruits. Whereas Undertale, you can get a legit experience, and you dont have to go out of your way to attack enemies.

Player and Kris finally separate, Player gets their vessel and can move freely in it. You get to explore the town as the real you, getting to meet the townsfolk who are all grateful that you saved their world. You're also able to hop to the Castle Fountain to gab with the Darkners. Kris tags along as well and gets tons of spoken lines and their own unique portrait. You also take a picture with the Fun Gang.
It becomes apparent that because the player "Doesn't belong" in either world and no longer has Kris as their vessel to anchor them they're going to turn to stone just like Darkners would have, though your soul delays the transformation significantly and will return to you in your own world unharmed when it happens. It's also made clear that everyone's memories of you will likely be erased when you leave.
When you're finally ready to say goodbye and finish the game you pick a spot for your vessel to become a statue. Ralsei prompts you one last time to think about all of the friends you made and how they're doing right now.
The full version of Don't Forget plays as the perspective pans over various events. A tearful reunion of the Holiday Family, Asgore and Toriel mending their relationship, etc.

Noelle leaves your party as soon as you reunite with Susie and Ralsei regardless. The only enemy you have the opportunity to use SnowGrave on is Berdly. There is no other current purpose to the ThornRing beyond empowering Noelle to use that attack to end that boss fight.
It is very likely that Noelle will join your party again at some point in the future, especially on the Weird Route, at which time you will be able to collect the ThornRing from her, so there is no purpose in keeping it now.
I am also extremely skeptical of the idea that you would be intentionally rewarded for murdering a bunch of Darkners by being allowed to keep Noelle's overpowered equipment and insta-kill spell just because you back out of killing Berdly at the last second. I don't think there's even a guarantee that Noelle will obey a command to cast SnowGrave again in the future Weird Route, it's pretty clearly intended for the special case of the Berdly fight. The exploit allowing you to use it on normal enemies after aborting Snowgrave was patched.
I recall people thinking it was Dess' guitar. I didn't put much thought into at the time because the information didn't quite click until the sweepstakes and the Valentine card which people thought was Gaster but I feel it was apparent he doesn't speak like that. Toby Fox dropped the Silence Ending, alternate ending to the Spamton Sweepstakes donation event from a while back, in the latest newsletter. In that same update, he hinted at people to go check out the website again. We very quickly found out he had changed most pages to include newer links, making it 40 secret pages in total when including the old ones.
In these new pages, there is weird church imagery and mentions of something being lost in a forest, with further teasing to the tree that keeps showing up in Dark Worlds with the Man behind it. Furthermore, there is more emphasis put into Noelle's Cat Petterz game and the cats you raise in them, seemingly confirming that the face in the basement that you see in Chapter 2 (known in the files as DEVICE_FRIEND) is related to this game in some form or another, and will be relevant in Chapter 3. It seems to have been confirmed to be a cat as well, based on it appearing in /rarecats and being named cat-009.gif.
Lastly, there are new chapter pages, teasing at the importance of Weird Route. We do not know just what these teasers mean regarding Weird Route, or if it's even about Weird Route at all, but something is "applicable" in Chapter 2, and "not applicable, but..." in Chapter 3. There was also an email system set up at the end of a few pages, where you were asked to answer the question "How long did it take her to smile?" which so far lacks a correct answer. Signing up and answering this question would also sign you up for a secret tier of the newsletter, so long as you had already subscribed to it prior on that same email you answered with. Right now, the email system is closed.
I hope this is a good summary of mostly everything found. There is also ties to Link's Awakening and weirder stuff within the webpages, but you can go and explore that yourself. A good place to start is /ramb.

What if something changes here so that if you try to backtrack at his moment it's suddenly just Kris with no Ralsei and Susie with you so you basically ditch them? Sounds like a good means to start a Weird Route in Chapter 1.

Spamton is amoral or incredibly evil depending on your POV. Snowgrave Spamton straight up admits he sold you the ring so that you'd "do evil" which gave him the chance he needed. But he's also a spiritually broken person who is pushed to do this because he never wants to live in a dumpster again. Pacifist route shows he is redeemable.

approaching deltarune from the direction of it following toy story logic, i.e. darkners being sentient possessions that grow attachments, my interpretation for a while now has been that the friend has a deep emotional connection to dess, and is doing everything in its power to find her. it has a deep interest in noelle specifically because of their shared desire to finding dess.
my theory is that the main route of the game has almost NOTHING to do with dess beyond basic window dressing, which is why friend is straight-out bugging, glitching, and rewriting aspects of the game to get out of bounds and force the player to find her. I don't think the entity is going to like what it eventually finds.

I'm not seeing Spamton's connection to Noelle, especially since you only go into the basement on the route you don't coerce Noelle to kill Spamton.

We only have Ralsei's word that the Roaring is a thing and that the Knight is doing it. I'm inclined to think that he thinks he's telling the truth, or at least have moral reasons to lie, but that's just speculation. Maybe the Knight is a Darkner trying to save his or her own kind at the expense of Lightners, or maybe the Knight himelf thinks he's stopping the Roaring in his own way that goes against Ralsei and whoever is behind Ralsei.

First off, there's no cheap jumpscares or forced visual horror element. You don't even go to the creepiest area in the chapter and the "killing" you do is completely clean.
It's a deeply uncomfortable experience because of the extreme tone shift from the normal chapter, the sudden introduction of uncertainty into what has been a pretty linear experience up to this point, the very real controlling and abusive conditioning we perform on Noelle, and the meta-context where you know the game knows that you're violating these kids and twisting their relationship in ways they don't want and can't understand.
The whole experience is less about shocking or frightening you and more breaching the trust and comfort that the game had established with you until now, exactly like how you're forcing Kris to abuse their relationship with Noelle to "force" her to do things she's "doesn't want" to do but feels like she has to.

Similar to Undertale, the creepypasta route is designed in such a way where it feels like it’s something that could actually happen in-universe if you just roleplay a certain way, where as typical creepypasta shit feels like it’s clearly some external/modified bullshit that eventually just breaks any immersion by doing things that the game physically shouldn’t be capable of doing
That's up to the player, I hate that everyone I've watched play is allergic to the fight button.
The game even has a built in mechanic to allow a pacifist route while fighting and still nobody does it, even if it's objectively superior (like attacking Queens shield to break it 2-3x quicker than via ACTing)

The conditioning not to FIGHT is hard to break. It blew my mind when Jerma used Rude Buster on the shield in chapter 2. It made me plan to use more strategic violence in ch3&4

I personally use a little bit of violence to make sure Kris knows that I don't want him to a pushover. I knocked down Susie and Berdly respectively, and will continue to use violence against Lightners who should know better.

The thing is it's on the same page as d.ogg (music before killing Berdly) and the creepy Shadow Mantle sound effect. So that contextualizes it to feel ominous.

The best kind of video game creepypastas is that they should feel like something that could reasonably exist in the game, but was cut out or remain hidden for whatever reason. Think Fallout 3 Numbers Station, The Theater, Luna Game, Jvk1166z.esp, or The Princess are good examples of this. Just imagine something really creepy, but at the very fringes of belivability. A bizarre beta or some surreal mod from some dark cervice of the internet. Something like Godzilla NES can work, but it requires a dreft hand. Creepypasta specifically tends to rely on the idea that it's real, so suspension of desbelief can be hard.

Queen's shield breaks faster by fighting
I figured this out during my second play through the Chapter 2 and it's always stuck out to me mechanically. I hope we're forced to have to FIGHT a little to spare monsters, it goes great with Chapter 1's whole "not everything can be solved with talking" subversion. It would also force players to think about when to fight and when not to.
Never heard of it, but it does sound like a odd thing. What would drive a man to be so protective over sprites. Sonic creepypastas is a pretty poor subgenre, but I do really like that one spanish Creepypasta, The Blue Pendrive. It's about the only Sonic creepypasta I can even count as being close to something redeemable.
