Compiling shit is just having the tools installed and typing a couple of commands in the console, then waiting however long it takes. Probably not something most Linux users do (well they do the typing and waiting part, just not the compiling part), but it is easy.

You have to disable it with registry keys, group policy etc. in safe mode.
