It's still the #2 top seller game on steam, only behind Counter Strike (and the Steam deck), despite being only 50$, beating big releases like Oblivion or the upcoming Doom. Surviving and outwrestling Oblivion, which just released two days before it, is already an achievement in itself.
Having glowing reviews and extremely positive word-to-mouth among the player base praising it to kingdom come, I don't see the sales going down anytime soon. It has chances to become a cult classic.

So I don't know about all that, but I do know that EA either intentionally or unintentionally caused Titanfall 1 and 2 to fall well below expected sales numbers by putting its release date inbetween major CoD and Medal of Honor releases. Of course this is the same shit that happens like when Disney tanked Treasure Planet because of internal politics of the company and then current head of the company having personal beef with the director of the movie.

maybe in 10 more years seeing how it hasn't even beaten FF16 yet after a couple of weeks. FF16 sold 3 millions within 1 week and FF7 Rebirth 2 within 1 week. E33 has already been out for over 2 weeks and only reached 2 million like a day or 2 ago and sales will continue dawdle from this point onward.
