this may be a troll, but there was a very real influx of zoomers into PC gaming following their streamer bro ecelebs, who unironically think 4K is worth your time, OLED isnt a meme that wont burn in within the year, and that such shit budget hardware isnt bad because a 2012 review said it was the best hardware yet.
if there are any zoomers wondering why I say this, 4K is a waste of resources for PC since youre sat only a meter from the monitor, 1440p is all you need and this way you arent locked to 60fps. There is simply no difference on a 27~32" monitor.
OLED does look nice, but it costs you 5~10x the price and only lasts 2-3 years before it burns in badly enough to need replacing, but what they dont tell you is it slowly degrades (in order to mask burn-in, new OLEDs dim other pixels to match the worst one to hide burn in), after 1 year, its image wont be much better than the top of the line modern LCDs.
meanwhile modern LCDs are significantly better, and the image while less "deep" than OLED are very comparable, so its 5-10x cheaper and lasts 10+ years, instead of costing 5-10x more and only 'beating' an LCD for a year or so.
I think HDR makes much more of a difference anyway
