KH2 is far and away objectively better than 1 though, Meteora and Hybrid Theory are both in the same ballpark
not an entirely new idea but was the first one to make it big and define the genre
even as it ages the core is so well put together it's just as good as ever, at most you can say "I'm just not into it anymore"
