there's 35 race/color or gay jokes per second in this game. the funny part is tony himself cracks the best gay jokes because he's self-aware enough.

the gun fight sections with their beefed up weaponary legitimately do take the GTA4 formula to its limits
the silly OTT tone, the aping of the older games, the silly vehicles, stuff like that, are great selling points when you describe the game to other people
but the gunfights are fucking peak and even with the automatic shotgun I still got fucked up multiple times in some places
they're fucking chaotic, and more importantly, fun
the gameplay is actually good

Luis is basically CJ in all the shit he has to get into, and their is enough variety in the missions here which was a problem with IV.

People praise it more because it fixes some of the problems people had with IV. There's nothing deep past it. They added way more shit to do to IV.
