There isn't. Asperger syndrome was only categorized separately because we didn't fully understand what the autism spectrum was at the time. In fact, asperger syndrome was still categorized as autism even back then, because that's all it is. It's just not as far along on the spectrum. There is a death animation for enemies that actually die instead of running away. If I remember it's been in the game since Chapter 1, and as of Chapter 2 it's not unused because Pipis will actually die if you FIGHT them.
Snowgrave is set so that if enemies are defeated with it, it triggers the death animation instead of the "defeat" animation and increases your "kill" counter that the game tracks. This all suggests that an effort was made to make Snowgrave functional (accounting for hacking or an oversight exactly like what happened that would allow for it to be used), which might imply that we will get the chance to use it like a normal spell in the future, but none of this is specific to SnowGrave and it wasn't intended to see it in Chapter 2.

So we all agree that the lowercase lines in the intro were said by a different narrator. But what if this narrator wasn't speaking to us but TO KRIS? What if we're flashing forward to a different point in time and seeing a hint of what happened to Kris?
"Will now be discarded", we're seeing that someone told Kris their original soul is being discarded. "No one can choose who they are in this world" makes total sense as a line said TO KRIS because we're about to puppet them, Kris's choices are about to literally stop mattering because only our choices matter!
Why would the 2nd narrator say that OUR name is Kris when the game still acknowledges our player name in certain cases? They're enforcing onto Kris the identity they were given and the role they have no choice but to play out.

The only reason you can't keep the ThornRing in Snowgrave is that Noelle leaves your party after casting it.
But if she rejoins your party at some point in the future, which I think most people would say is pretty much guaranteed to happen, you'll be able to just take the ring from her then.
