Even Tekken and Street Fighter aren't doing well. Why invest all the money into a genre that's incredibly niche? Where at best case scenario you'll sell 3 million copies before having to do a permanent 50% price cut.

if other studios stopped following their blueprint and started being more player-first, it could save us from the RAPIDLY approaching singularity.
