I was playing the first game and for like the first half everything was fine then I realized that if you just do the main story the game is a total cakewalk and that killed all my interest in it. I got to the final area and just gave up from how easy and boring it all was, it's just the Kirby of Rune Factory and it's a baby game for retards and toddlers.

The first one was nice back when I was an underage zoomer because it had really good gameplay.
Honestly, the "story" of the first game was the biggest flaw and should't exist.
It's just "go to the quest marker and read endless walls of text" with maybe 1 or 2 trivially easy fights in between.
Grinding the jobs and exploring the world on your own was where the true fun was at.
hated how unserious the story of the first game took itself. Literally everything was played as a joke and it wasn't funny most of the time.
Yeah it was easily the worst part of it, especially since it wasn't optional and gated new areas. If there were a way to completely cut that shit out it would have been like a 8-9/10 game probably.
Imagine if they made a cool story with less quest markers and pointless banter and more adventure, exploration, braving dungeons, fighting monsters and story bosses.
