I play Power Stone 2 with zoomers and in their own words they said it's the game Smash Bros should've been. It's far more about platforming, positioning and resource management than about high APM pressure and defense. They can actually take games off me in Power Stone.

First things I'm gonna do are lab Project Justice so I can have BnBs when I hit Ranked and then just jump right into CFJ Ranked for shits and giggles. CvS2 will have the longest life so there's no need to go right to it., same with Power Stone to a lesser extent.
It's incredibly fun and simple, you can learn each character in like 5 minutes on the fly and the rest is just item/stage layouts. You can get good at it and there's strong/weak characters but it's not a game that you can truly get sweaty at.

Power Stone 2 is a great evolution on the formula from the first, add 4 player and dynamic stages right? Then why does it feel so mid? Played it on DC with 3 friends and as a party game it was always just "alright"

Power Stone 2 without the item creator mode feels very empty, including the arcade version instead of the dreamcast version is a huge mistake for this game.

Does anyone else find the input buffer in Alpha 3 is really strict/finicky? It barely registers my 360s half the time. Meanwhile I try another game like Fighting Evolution and everything works fine.
Alpha 3 Upper is infamous for an input delay bug that fucks with inputs, and it sounds like they didn't try to fix it.
