Eiko in FF9, screw her, she's annoying
Any blue mage is also trash, like Quina
More like cockwarmer.
I used Eiko since she was the better white mage.
literally only used her in the forced tutorial
oof
hating blue mages
Unironically kys. I bet that you also benched best boy Strago
Post the webm
Nah he’s ok for crit, it’s almost scary how good he is for that
Wish he can warm my cock instead putting it inside him.
Quina is literally the best FF9 character gameplay-wise. You're braindead.
Sciel is really good if you learn how to use her, but her playstyle is so fucking obtuse and confusing at first glance that nobody bothers. Meanwhile Monocco comes even later but he's a straightforward blue mage with an rng mechanic so it's a lot easier to get him in the party lineup in comparison to Sciel.
I don't give a shit about metafaggotry ijust play characters i like. I fucking hate Morgana and all these Persona pet characters btw....
>her playstyle is so fucking obtuse
use sun card
use moon card
?
Did you miss the "at first glance" part of my sentence, retard?
I did not. It's simple to understand at first glance and the tutorial forces you to do it anyways.
The classic
Sciel's great doe, she's an amazing buffer. With that role, Maelle as the damage dealer, Verso as the default male MC dude and Monoco with the cool factor of being a Blue Mage and going around collecting enemy skills, unfortunately the one that ends up benched more often than not is Lune
I always ran Ryuji, Ann/Haru, and Makoto/Akechi
He's great against enemies weak to wind or have no weaknesses with his high crit attack.
To be fair, P5 lets you switch in party members mid battle, which means everyone serves a purpose, same as Metaphor. That being said some party members are more useful than others and hes the only one whos specialty does something that other party members can use. To his credit, hes the best candidate for debilitate from Jazz Club, which definitely makes him probably more useful than Makoto when you aren’t fighting a multitarget boss but then the issue becomes that he gets it super fucking disgustingly late and the final boss is a multi-target boss, making Makoto one of the most useful party members
Once I got the weapon for Lune that gives you random stains she became my favorite character
Niche game but based on what I remember she is a deceptive character. Essentially for someone who doesn’t look too hard into the stats she will seem god tier because she hits really fast from range and charges the EXTRA meter really fast but in reality her str and damage modifiers are so low that shes actively worsening your damage by actively controlling her.
As a side-topic, Dogi is commonly seen as one of the weakest because a later blunt-type character can essentially boost the party damage making him seem like Cruxie just replaces him, however, Dogi’s damage modifiers are so high that he hits the hardest out of your entire party, almost double what Cruxie does and in bosses using both him and Cruxie lets him get both a passive damage buff and Cruxies Empower buff as well as a stun boost.
I put any animal/kemono character in my party every time.
No, nekomimi does not count.
I bench him because he's annoying
Trash like Quina
The best Blue Mage in the franchise
Eh....
people are really just farming (You)s in this thread now huh
Deceptively strong, not really useless just sadly in a game with a ton of good characters. He would have a chance as a mix of utility and damage if Rikku’s overdrive wasn’t so fucking good
Ramar is my favorite benchwarmer
This
Any party member that is locked in on dogshit light/dark instakill moves that simply don't work are a complete waste of time.
I don't mind the MC using them because I'll just get a better demon ready for when I need to actually fight stuff, but their only use is farming.
Naoto got her revenge in Persona Q, pretty much no enemy has a weakness to light/dark so she can tear through normal fights and for bosses she has a good support setup
and by weakness I mean resistance
Naoto got her revenge in Golden and was the best party member for sweeping regular encounters in original. Muh light/dark instakill is useless only works if you’re a midwit.
Koromaru and Ken had secondary elements and the latter had retardedly good equipment options as soon as level 40. In Reload Light/Dark have actual damage skills so the instakill argument is null.
So much of a benchwarmer that he doesn't even get his Dragoon Spirit until you're almost done the game, unless you backtrack to a disc 1 location for literally no reason.
Togepi in gold and silver
have to spend time getting it up to speed after it hatches
piss poor stats
friendship evolution
finally evolve it into togetic, it's still doing less damage than pidgey (not pidgeot, PIDGEY) because it has no special moves
marginally better in HGSS because it gets extrasensory as a special attack
but you can't get togekiss until you have the national dex lol lmao
I'm 90% sure the FFT team hated having higer ups forcing them to include Cloud and they made him so pathetically weak nobody will ever talk about him.
Togepi's evolution was one of the most disappointing things ever after the anime.
Togetic both looks like shit and is weak as shit.
what are you talking about?
his dragon form is shit but normal he hits like a truck and his combos are easy
I always make my team, the MC plus the girls in order of attractiveness. Balance be dammed.
stupid sidequest to get his weapon
he cant use any other weapon
he need the most expensive time mage passive to be effective
yeah, fuck that homo
And his speed means he's getting one turn for everyone else's three, while his magic stats means he's getting raped by every boss ever.
Garbage stats, garbage limit breaks, garbage story that guarantees you'll hate him, what were they even thinking
Nah, Mogana was my main healer.
Nah, I'm with him. It's very confusing at first glance even if does amount to just
use sun and then moon attack to enter twilight for extra damage / effects
It comes off way more complex at first.
entirely depends on what weapon you use though, her gimmick changes the most based on your build
Ramar is great in solo play or in a small party.
Don't care, still used him in the Northern Cave.
small party
Any party will have a buffer so in this small party of yours ramar is either a cuck for someone else doing more damage or just useless.
solo play
Nobody cares. Any class in the game can solo.
came here to say this
unfortunate but true
Which one?
