older than you

Yeah, and yet you still showed up to type that. The datamining only works if people reply, anon. Welcome to the honeypot.

shit like this is why i hate posting here

lmao kys zoomer

stop posting anytime

I've had this account for half my life

shit like this is why i hate posting here

You hate it here because the people are stupid? You should really try the other places and find out that it's not a Anon Babble problem.

I'm a PC gaming veteran, but I don't have a fancy badge. This Steam account I'm using is the second one, but I've been a PC gamer all my life. Before I came to Anon Babble I was on a Warcraft 3 forum.

That's really impressive. I made a new Steam account because I was banned on Dota 2. It was the only thing I played so being banned was a bit frustrating.

the average zoomer is now older than you were when you first started complaining about zoomers

This makes me feel old. My steam account is from when I started browsing Anon Babble, 2008

My steam account is from when I started browsing Anon Babble, 2008

Are you happy with the website? I've been here forever, and I think it's awful.

2008 fag here, as well.

Who the fuck would ever say anything good about the state of this website lmao. It mirrors the state of the world.

I'm still waiting for captcha to be removed because as moot said it's only temporary

I just made mine to play Team Fortress 2. Before that I was mostly playing Unreal Tournament 2004 a lot.

Who the fuck would ever say anything good about the state of this website lmao. It mirrors the state of the world.

You're right about that. I actually came here because I didn't like the real world, but the two places are like the same now. There's no coming to the internet to hide from diversity and you're suffering it regardless. I would say that's the big difference between then and now.

18 years of steam

Where does the time go...

bought HL2 on launch

account linked to broadband provider from back then

moved home, internet provider closed down, email lost

three days after steam released

Bait. Here's your (you) faggot.

mom said it was my turn to say kys

needs a shitty cheevo from shitty service to pretend

sit down young one
i was gaming on 8bits before 'PC gaming' was a thing
uphill both ways, in a snow
now get of my lawn whippersnapper

damn. how do i get more levels?

Marmot.png - 305x199, 39.97K

It says on the page that levels are from earning badges. Who even cares about badges.

oh yeah fuck badges then.

Brahmancow.png - 354x185, 20.12K

I have no fucking clue what I did to get there, maybe the old summer sales

Capture.jpg - 321x171, 6.25K

who invited the incels?

you're 40?

If you're using steam only as a store/library you will never gain levels. You have to post on the forums, write guides, trade cards. Just in general community stuff.

9 years lol

I'm steam level 30 and I've only ever just bought sub 20$ videogames.

My library is around 500 games.

I'm still a newb

steam.jpg - 1080x800, 89.68K

i'm something of an ancient gamer myself

Yeah and my library is half that and i'm level 19.

fucking tryhard

I'm level 18 and only have 163 games. I never finish what's on my plate

This is an average of about 2 and half hours every day over 12 years

why are you even on this board if you didn't play half-life 2 in 2004? you obviously hate vidya or are under 30 and know nothing about it

Made a Steam account at 11 years old because I thought TF2 was funny

I'm 25 now

Still playing TF2

you obviously hate vidya

Have you considered that someone tried Half-Life and thought it was shit?

I'm locked out of my original account from 2007, but I didn't spend much money on it, maybe $50 max, so whatever.

1000113713.jpg - 1440x904, 109.36K

No but on my way there. I grew up with Nin10do but changed to PC because PC is just better (because emulation).

Also I do not use steam. Piracy is better and easier.

I'm locked out of my original account from 2007

What occurred for that to happen

I said the N word once in a private server with my friends while we were drunk.

I mean what a little faggot that guy is.

w-why didn't you guys play Half-Life 2

It was a boring fucking shooter. Where's Half-Life 3? Nowhere, because your game was shit. Old people love to bring up shit games from the past like anyone gives a fuck.

I said the N word once in a private server with my friends

You don't get locked out of your account for that

Yes, I did.
Steams automated censorship algorythm instantly picked it up, booted me out of the private server and locked my account.

Made an account for Half-Life 2, been here ever since. I'm 37 and I feel my body creaking, but at least I'm getting married in a year.

Untitled.png - 310x190, 27.12K

Nice bait but if you are 30 or older and still spending your (hopefully) limited free time bitching about video games then you need to grow up. And if you're a neet it's unironically over for you, suicide is the only redemption in your future

I don't understand. Are you saying it's okay for you to use Anon Babble and anyone else? Try and explain that reasoning. Keep in mind you didn't post in any other thread because I filtered them all.

and not anyone else*

Nah m8, that is literally not a thing.

I sincerely can't imagine playing a single game for this long

Made it when dota 2 was out in closed beta.

I didn't play half life because I do not like shooters. Melee games are better. I love beating people over the head with crowbars. Why ever use guns in a video game that is meant to be fun?

No? That's good to hear. My ability to do one thing forever is how I outlasted everyone who used to be on this website. The new people are much worse.

I started Dota 2 in the beta as well. Do you still play or watch?

That lying faggot isn't me. The thing that got me locked out is forgetting my username and being locked out of the email that the account is tied to. It's some bullshit with 2FA and Google won't help me even though I've submitted scans of my ID and shit.

what's the first game you bought?

top right->account details->view purchase history->scroll to bottom

I dunno how this is the first purchase since I've had this account since 2004, maybe the store hadn't recorded purchases until this point.

move mouse at bad guy

click

bad guy dies

brain feels good

Play, got a key from some random forum, then got a few more keys for my friends for being in beta. Was coming from garena/eurobattle dota. Man those were the days, i and my friend thought we were hot shit in dota until we played 2.

But it's more fun if you get to beat a blunt object over his head and then he dies.

Thanks for the life story. What role do you play in Dota?

I was mostly pirating back then

i have 11 years on steam and i still consider myself a newfag

I dont play it anymore. Back then i played mostly carry/tank.

I dont play it anymore

That's great. I've never been able to talk to Anon Babble about Dota. I don't play much anymore, but I still watch Dota on Youtube. What's even the point of everyone liking different shit? I can't talk to anyone about the game I like.

I'm getting married

kys normalfag

Theres a dota thread at least every month, though i rarely visit them. Anon Babble in general is awful for talking about old and niche games, its all shitposting about new ones. You can try Anon Babble too

I'm the biggest newfag in the thread

ITT: gamer guys who has more years of service than Steam friends

IMG_6121.jpg - 1170x1649, 370.68K

Nothing more cuck than buying games and feeling proud

Anon Babble in general is awful for talking about old and niche games

Dota is niche? It's the second most played game on Steam. Woops, it's the third.

steamcharts.com/

How is that niche? I think Anon Babble is just too stupid for Dota.

steam

underages

You gain levels by buying games and crafting badges.

If I look up some NPC approved shit that Anon Babble is discussing, it'll have much less players. Look at this.

steamcharts.com/app/1903340

60k players. Dota 2 has 300,000 more players compared to that game. How is it niche?

Unless i know you in real life, chances are im not adding you to my friend list

My first Steam game was the 2011 Skyrim release.
I've since kinda fallen out of love with PC gaming as a whole.
Third party launchers other than Steam piss me off, so Ubisoft and EA get thrown in the trash on PC for me.
DRM typically hurts performance, so I bought Steller Blade and FFXVI on my PS5 Pro instead of getting them on PC.

The only game I can't really stand to play on my PS5 is Bauldr's Gate due to hating the controller UI. Everything else I've re-bought on the console and finished it there.
There are some downgrades. Batman Arkham games (All of them) and the Spyro remastered collection still only run at 30 FPS. Those I'll likely still complete on PC.

I'm legal (in most countries)

file.png - 322x175, 18.33K

Piracy is easier and more fun.

This is my second profile. I think I forgot my login info on my first one and then made this one. I didn't really play anything else besides runescape or flash games until 2011 anyways. I played on consoles beforehand. I turned 18 in 2011.

I think Anon Babble is just too stupid for Dota.

There used to be endless dota generals on Anon Babble prior to Anon Babble being made. The entire reason Anon Babble was made was because dota, LoL, and sc2 threads kept shitting up Anon Babble.

Okay, so why do I see gacha garbage on Anon Babble when there's generals on Anon Babble? I think it's a really shit excuse. Anon Babble is just a containment board; it's like a worse section of the prison we live in. I've been there so I know.

Okay, so why do I see gacha garbage on Anon Babble when there's generals on Anon Babble?

Don't ask me. I'm just telling you the reason moot made Anon Babble. People complained about it back then and moot did something about it. Moot is no longer here and instead we have useless dipshits like hiromoot that doesn't do anything and rapeape and his group of tranny jannies that also don't do anything. Talk to them about it

Talk to them about it

They can't help me. The reason Anon Babble has gacha threads and not Dota threads is because they're too stupid for Dota. I don't need to hear some NPC fuck disagree. I need to go look at these threads they made because I filtered everything. Fucking NPCs.

They can't help me.

Of course they can't, because they don't want to do anything.

The reason Anon Babble has gacha threads and not Dota threads is because they're too stupid for Dota.

What has actually happened is indians have infested the internet. Nuke india and gacha threads will die down. May as well get brazil too. Dota and other assfaggots games aren't fun though. That's why people typically tend to not talk about them. It's not because you need a high iq to play them, it's because they're fucking boring. So are gacha's but a lot of people are obsessed with porn so there's not much you can do.

I'm already of the age of consent :^)

Mem steam.png - 967x347, 40.05K

where were you before Anon Babble? I used to frquent the GameFAQS video games and pro wrestling boards.
