For those who don't get it there's a feat you can get called disassemble that lets you break down weapons into the parts they're made with instead of turning them into scrap metal at the cost of the parts having only 90% of the part quality it originally had (which later becomes 100% when you can upgrade the feat) so you can pretty much take your gun apart without any penalty if you want to change parts and everytime you rebuild it, it fixes the gun's durability without needing to use a repair kit.
