DLC will add 2 more Nightfarers for a total of 10, and 2 more Nightlords
there's no plans to add new maps to the game (for now at least)
i gotta admit its pretty slick for Fromware to trick their fanboys into paying $40 to do their network testing for them.

I played the network test and had fun, but I really don't have any desire to buy the full game. It seems very barebones, and I don't think refighting old bosses from the series is a good hook. It feels like some cheap marvel tier shit. I guarantee that Duskbloods will be the better game.

I can't believe Fromsoft went from being peak (Sekiro, Elden Ring) to now shitting out multiplayer-focused slop. And this was AFTER they bought the rights to Elden Ring from Bamco. I just don't understand it.
I hope there's enough backlash that Fromsoft changes course and goes back to making good games.

Switch 2 will probably get an emulator very quickly given how autistic Nintendo fans are.
But it won't matter if the game is multiplayer only.
All that matters is the randomization. One map could be great if it's heavily randomized in the final game and ten bosses could suck if there are no difficulty modifiers to change the way you approach bossfights. Unfortunately I don't think From dedicated that much time to the roguelite elements.

I would buy this if it was mostly new enemies instead of mostly recycled ones. I feel like you would lose any sense of discovery and wonder from seeing enemies you've already seen in other souls games copypasted 1 to 1.
