Is there anything worth playing on this thing besides Half-Life Alyx?
Every other game here just feels like boring tech-demos where you mess around with basic physics.
VR "gaming"
Nope! New thread please.
UEVR modded unreal 4 and up games. "Made for vr" is rarely worth it. But modded games easily Trump even the flat versions
vrooom vrooom
racing sims
flying sims
anything where you sit really
porn is decent aswell
payday 2 is actually super fun in vr if youre not looking for realism
racing sims
flying sims
What if I'm not into sims?
then you play payday 2
Half-Life 2 VR and the episodes are a more fun VR experience than Alyx.
Seriously. Alyx obv has more detailed worlds but the actual combat is way more fun in HL2VR. The AI isn't hobbled with VR training wheels the way Alyx is. The Combine especially are way more fun to fight, since you can't 360 no-scope bunny hop your way through firefights like on a m+kb ao they actually get a chamce to show off their tactics and chatter before they die.
Resident evil 4
What if I dislike payday?
idk man shove the controllers up your ass
Here's my copy pasta. Have fun.
I've never played the HL series. Is it worth doing a first playthrough in VR or should I experience it flat screen first and return later in VR?
yes? pretty much most major releases with anything "modernish" running them like UE4 engine or at least directX9 support. Almost all can be converted to VR with utility tools
Unless you want the waggle sticks and think they are inseparable from VR gaming. Then you will always be forced into niches as wasting time to rebalance gameplay around the sticks is simply not worth it
Unless you want the waggle sticks and think they are inseparable from VR gaming.
Yes, I do. That's VR. I don't want to play with a regular controller and control a camera with my head. That's retarded.
VRChat and porn are both fire
Yeah there’s a few
Ace Combat 7 UEVR
Saints and Sinners
Hard Bullet
Into the Radius
Batman Arkham Shadow
Action Hero
Literally Skyrim
Various racing sims and ports like Doom and Quake
Pick one of these for multiplayer shooters
Breachers (Siege)
Vail (COD hybrid)
Contractors/Contractors Showdown (COD)
Too many to list honestly
I need to get back to my ITR run, it just makes my feet so tired and I took a break from it to do a bunch of NMS expeditions fuck fishing btw
ITR better give me a free loli ghost wife by the end of the game
An expedition 33 died for this. VR is a joke. It will never be good. Wait for AR glasses to not suck.
I really like ITR, but I'm a pussy and it's really fucking difficult. I desperately want to play ITR2 with someone, but I have no friends. Life is suffering.
conflating VR and AR
peak midwit
retard
Both Red Matter games are pretty cool
you can simulate playing ITR in real life by just dropping lots of small objects all over the floor and then picking them up again
I bounced off it several times and didn't even get past the 2nd mission. What changed is I learned that the spiders have 100% miss rate and stun themselves if you just sidestrafe them instead of trying to shoot them out of the air or something.
Also once you get enough money to be liberal with bullets it starts getting comfy until you run into THAT
Kill yourself tourist.
enjoy playing mobile game slop in vr for the rest of your pathetic life
enjoy playing what you enjoy playing
ok
Morrowind works great
every ue game runs in vr, poorfag.
i'm still waiting for the guys to finish whatever pr he's working on so he can go back to improving the vr version
i dont think i'd want to play morrowing until we get proper wagglan controls
Melee feels so bad in this its a dealbreaker unfortunately, I need to find a mod that puts some sort of feedback even on misses.
Scroll of Icarian Flight is fun though.
We'll get if after MotherVR gets its final update surely
its probably going to be a few years before ITR2 is in a playable state with co-op but I loved ITR and might actually start another game again because of this thread.
you're right that the game is scary, especially at the start but as you gather more money and get some better weapons it becomes more action than horror.
If you do plan on continuing to play I suggest getting armor piercing ammo for your weapon of choice and scouring every location you have access to. You can actually find most weapons in the store out hidden somewhere in the world but armored enemies are going to be a constant threat in the later game.
the spiders have 100% miss rate and stun themselves if you just sidestrafe them instead of trying to shoot them out of the air or something.
My first experience with ITR was streaming it with my HP Reverb G2. The G2 controllers are not properly supported. Some dude joined the streamed and helped me with the controller issue and then helped guide me through the first parts of the game. The games tutorials are genuine dog shit so I was extremely grateful for that guy cause I would have dropped the game and not looked back until I got another headset. He taught me the spider thing. Side strafe with your knife out to your side and they just jump into the knife
kek my first encounter with an armored policeman was a mess
ended up emptying all my guns and had to go run and hide and try to dig out a box of slugs from the bottom of my pack so that I could finish it with my shitty starter shottie
FNAF Help Wanted was genuinely the most terrifying thing I ever played.
Dang, for real? I've never played Fnaf myself, but always enjoyed watching it. I've kind of written off any of the spin off type shit.
I have a vr headset but don't use it for gaming, I use it to watch sissy hypnosis videos that I've converted to sbs 3d.
porn is decent aswell
I didn't see the appeal desu. I though watching the video up close would be inherently more immersive but it's mostly inconvenient.
the future is 3d passthrough
stuff like virt a mate and braindancevr
eleven table tennis is pretty fun. It's a simple basic (and overpriced if you buy it) ping pong game, but it just works.
The Moss games are also good if you're into that sort of game.
Any suggestions on how to find VR friends? No I will not get anywhere near VRChat. That is genuinely the most degenerate place on the internet.
You sound like you already have an opinion formed about everyone and of every suggestion that might be thrown your way. I think you want, nor will be able to, make friends online.
honestly no fucking clue
all the vr friends i have are from random encounters or i shilled vr to someone
t.vrchatchildgroomer
niche multiplayer games
...go on?
anything low pop really
i played some vr mech game and there was dudes explaining the whole game to the newbies
