kanji is not that hard to learn actually... I've problems with my grammar and lacking vocabs.
You need 20k vocabs at minimum to speak japanese in some fluency (doesn't apply to native japanese) yet JLPT barely teaches you 5k vocabs and lot of them are duplicates for some reason (obaa-chan and obaa-san are different materials for example)
