Both of these things can be attributed to the irl fire that killed Verso, not Verso going off and killing Julie. That doesn't require being near painted Alicia either because Maelle says she'd have those nightmares even back when she was living in Lumiere.

Verso kills Julie on expedition 0 and Alicia only enters the canvas in monolith year 49. So Alicia may have already known what Verso did before she entered.

We see none of that happening from her time in Lumiere. Hell, we don't see her sleeping in Lumiere. We just know she had nightmares even back there. Moreover, if painted Alicia were feeding her those nightmares even when she was in Lumiere that'd mean that Alicia can travel to Lumiere (we don't see her doing this shit from a million miles away, after all) and if painted Alicia can do that then so can painted Renoir, which would ask the question of why doesn't he just fuck off there and terrorize the inhabitants into staying on the island.
