Whether overtly or not, these systems always, always, always eventually create an aversion to double clicking the shortcut, because they demand of you to play the game when you aren't in the mood. I hate clicking on quick match, loading in and seeing my teammates have already auto locked 1 tank and 4 dps and they are all eyeballing me to pick healer and solo heal. meanwhile the enemy team has the usual 2 tank 2 dps 2 healer comp. and my team is perfectly fine getting their shit pushed in for the next 10 minutes if it means they can play dps while doing it. further more if I say to myself fuck it and pick a dps, I now have to listen to my monkey teammates screeching and shitting in the text channels about how I specifically need to go healer because I was the last person to lock in and those are the unspoken rules apparently. I can just leave the match and queue again but the next lobby is likely the same thing.

Support ults should confer the ability to both defend and push. Rockets still being the easiest to deal with due to walking away from LOS or simply shooting the C.Y.A. In regards to other ults, Support ults like Lunas are used in response meaning you should use another in response. Ults like Mag, Namor, Punisher, Iron Man, Scarlet, Moon, and Thor are able to end it by killing the user. Emma, Jeff, Thing, Groot (walls block heals), and Penni all have ways to block or displace those being healed allowing them to be killed. That's just some examples when in reality there are more ways. It's simply a fundamental lack of understanding of the game that leads to this viewpoint.

Also in regards to being unsupported as a tank. OFC it feels bad not being supported it's a team game. It feels bad if your DPS are unable to be healed or get kills, it feels bad if the supports are protected. That's the point, also tanks offer a rewarding experience seeing as they can make or break games. Also you can definitely reliably run 3dps assuming they aren't shitters. There are tanks who are capable of soloing. As a matter of fact, running one tank is better against comps using Wolverine and Iron Fist due to those characters simply metling them. Higher DPS is the answer to that comp.
Lastly, brother it is a Hero Shooter pressing Q is the name of the game. Find me one player on any role who doesn't spam their ult.
