Chapter 3 and 4 has Kris start to communicate and build a sort of friendship with the player, since they're fairly certain you're roughly on the same page by this point. They also start treating your soul more gently when they're acting independently.

After the final boss, Kris also gets their own soul back and becomes their own person complete with character portrait and spoken dialogue. It becomes apparent that (you) don't have very long left in this world. Since you've completed your purpose and don't really "belong" in this reality your vessel will eventually turn to stone like a darkner's would and your soul will be returned to the real world with Gaster's assistance. You just need to make sure to get to his lab in the bunker by then. He estimates you have roughly one day.

The end of the game is You wandering around town and the remaining Dark Worlds with the Fun Gang meeting everyone as your true self. When you're ready to finish you head to the bunker. Everyone says their goodbyes until it's just you and Kris.

Kris is clearly holding back tears as they tell you how much this whole journey has meant.

i would but as i said in the last thread, im starting from chapter 1 and only coming once i beat 4, so i'll pretty much be joining the afterparty (granted, i should just be able to zoom through the text of ch1+2)

After completing chapter 7, if you load a save and return to the Party Dojo there's a boss rush where you have to fight all the chapter final bosses.

If you beat the boss rush, you unlock "Super Boss Rush" where you have to fight all the schizo bosses back to back with 1 inventory of items.

If you complete it you unlock Deltarune's equivalent to the Annoying Dog's room in Undertale.

The problem with the robots isn't that they are silly and inconsequential. The problem with the robots is that they suck. They aren't funny. Worst of all, despite their musical theming, they commit the gravest sin any Deltarune character can commit: their music is annoying. All of their many music tracks are incredibly grating. They're the only tracks I skip when listening to the soundtrack. And yes, I know their whole bit is that their music is based off the sample tracks that come with Casio keyboards. Then my sister and I get a message on our phones that a dark fountain opened up by this staircase and we need to investigate it. We were also told dark worlds are completely immune to radio wave toxins so we won't get poisoned inside one. We were about to head there but then the dream ended.

Chapter 4 starts off with the two oversleeping thanks to their TV World adventure, but since there's no school it's no big deal, they decide to fuck around and hang out in Hometown while most are attending church

Church Dark World is eventually discovered, the very idea is understandably unnerving with how many are in attendance right now, even Ralsei is more worried than usual because this Dark World was made in a place that worships the Angel

after the fountain's closed, everyone comes back and Rudy's either fucking dead or near-death because he's a stubborn jackass that pushed himself to his absolute limits, and the Dark World probably escalated his risk factor
