I personally think if they want to appear hardcore so much they should be given the hardcore treatment: State-sanctioned teaming and attack on sight, if they can beat that then good on them I suppose. It would be hard to convince other solos to team anyway, I do party hips as RTL all the time in solos and people let me follow them around at least half the time.

They paid out matches to 100, only low rank lobby's are full of bots that's why it says 90% when you lv up you start getting into higher player lobbies, yeal there will still prolly be a hand full of bots but your prolly in bit lobby's because yo don't play alot.
Your playing with bots because you don't play constantly to gain lvs or you don't play ranked mode. As another anon said not hard to see the player counts on each tab for different game modes.

You can AFK in non BR mode to level up the pass. I think that's the incentive for some players just to play instead of enjoying the BR, also as others mentioned there's so many modes and versions available to play even solo/duo/trio/squads splices into its own player base.
Even PUBG from its peak had to remove trios just to spill over those players and force duos or squads after FPP split the community up too much, then they started developing and selling the cheats to their own game as China took over because cheating is normal over there.
