Why do video game VAs get really attached to their characters and still talk about playing the character like years later? No other actors do this
Why do video game VAs get really attached to their characters and still talk about playing the character like years...
PAY
VOICE ACTORS
WHAT
THEYRE
WORTH
do you want VAs to pander to you or not?
fanbases are more likely to slobber over videogame VA's so they have inflated egos
I love women
really attached to their characters and still talk about playing the character like years later? No other actors do this
?????????????????????
would you prefer actors not give a shit about the characters they're acting as?
Because all of the visuals being just a videogame doesn't jade these people into thinking they're gonna end up just being typecast for roles. Just look at how Leonard Nimoy hated being Spock for decades.
Are you pretending JP VAs don't get stuck doing a singular role regardless of it being an anime or game? Are you fucking unaware of the seiyuu culture in Japan?
Autists just have a hate boner for vidya and anime VAs for some weird reason
No other actors do this
Yes they do.
imagine the smell
You're allowed to like the characters you play. Why is that such a shocker?
David Hayter
groomed by furfags
groomed by starfox fans (furfags)
end up becoming furry for the same character they did.
Talk about Kursed.
Erm... this cosplay is wrong her skirt needs to be some weird hybrid skort thing that makes no sense
we get it you hate women. Give it a rest already.
There's no way she hasn't masturbated to the Ashley and Leon porn.
it's mostly the untalented ones that only get picked up once in a blue moon and never for decent roles
it's the only way they can get clout if they aren't famous
i doubt gary oldman ever brags about being in call of duty
I guarantee these voice actors step on every neck possible to get to where they are
No other actors do this
Kevin Spacey still thinks he's shooting House of Cards
I'll give you 30 bucks to read a couple lines into a microphone. AI voice is getting pretty good and that's free so their worth is way cheaper.
Theyre looking for a job
not Carolyn Lawrence
not my ashley
Desperate for money.
she's too busy making money being Sandy Cheeks for the millionth time
I didn't write the character
I didn't do the preparatory drawings for his design
I didn't write his lines
I didn't model him in 3D
I didn't animate him
BUT I HAD TO SPEAK FOR 2 HOURS FOR THE DUBBING, SO IT'S MY CHARACTER
Love women
Love women(men)
They don't Love me
As I saw it, she had nothing else going for her so she used what she had to latch onto some semblance of relevancy. It’s the mark of every shitty actor also is that seriously the best/only krystal model out there? It looks like ass
A refurbished Resident Evil 4 is on somewhere or everywhere. I have no intention of revisiting any castle. I shrivel inside each time it is mentioned. Twenty years ago, when the game was first released, it had a freshness, also a sense of moral good and fun. Then I began to be uneasy at the influence it might be having. The first bad penny dropped in San Francisco when a sweet-faced boy of twelve told me proudly that he had played Resident Evil 4 over a hundred times. His elegant mother nodded with approval. Looking into the boy's eyes I thought I detected little star-shells of madness beginning to form and I guessed that one day they would explode. 'I would love you to do something for me,' I said. 'Anything! Anything!' the boy said rapturously. 'You won't like what I'm going to ask you to do,' I said. 'Anything, sir, anything!' 'Well,' I said, 'do you think you could promise never to play Resident Evil again?' He burst into tears. His mother drew herself up to an immense height. 'What a dreadful thing to say to a child!' she barked, and dragged the poor kid away. Maybe she was right but I just hope the lad, now in his thirties, is not living in a fantasy world of secondhand, childish banalities.

This person had...has(?) a husband and kids and some faggot "fan" came out of the woodwork to recruit her for yet another fangame shortly after she got out of a mental asylum. Between her, the faggot commissioner, starfox fans and Nintendo (who does absolutely nothing about this), I can't decide who needs to be strangled more. The stupid part about all of this is that everyone involved thinks it's helping the series. Negative attention is not always better than no attention.
Alec Guinness was not a good enough actor to have such a bug up his ass about Star Wars
He had no range whatsoever
All his characters seem like the same person.
He played obi-wan the exact same way he played every other character; smugly, as if smiling to himself about how silly it all was
Because unlike normal actors they can always do another sequel / reboot / remake and convention nerds jerk them off about past roles 20 years later.
Same reason sci-fi show casts get together and make cartoons and games after their main show gets cancelled.
Is this supposed to be a bad thing? Do you not want the people working on and contributing to a game to be attached to it and be emotionally invested in creating it to the best of their ability?
You see anon Robert Downey Jr went to an open call to play Dr Doom and he just happened to be the best person for the role showed up.
It's only the VA community that uses prior success to get future work/money. Real actor actor's earn every role by being the best of the best!
OP is a retard who has never been to his cities "comic-con" and walked through the celebrity zoo..
For me it’s Nicole Tompkins because I love Remake Jill
We’re talking about va’s, not the devs. And besides, it’s just cringe. It’s like those losers who peaked in high school and just reminisce about the good ol’ days because they can’t anything of themselves
still whining about shit from high school
Feels like a level of projection from your lazy ass.
Fuck that. Most of them aren't even any good, especially anime. Yeah, the hundreds of annoying haughty, Maximilian Pegasus sounding niggas and eardrum piercing squeaky voice chicks all should be six figures. Okay..
A lot of va's have input over certain aspects of their character. The degree to which this is true obviously varies project to project but the notion that they are broadly just rubes who have to get in and get out is not necessarily true. As far as the second thing i get the feeling that you haven't been a part of a creative project before, because the sense of satisfaction and lingering attachment you get from that is clearly more valid than high school nostalgia which is just an obligatory chore, not a product that you release to people and receive validation and a paycheck from.
To make up for their lack of talent
Desperation to stay relevant really
anon yells at cloud
t. San Francisco Star Wars kid
no other actors do this
fuck me i keep forgetting that retards can actually make baseless claims here and other retards take it as fact.
