The first time I played a Megaman title I was under impression I was going to pick my player character. I know, doesn't make sense, but still. I picked Needle Man, who proceeded to look rad as fuck in his little intro animation, and then I was greeted with playing as Megaman, who is not the big sharp spiky evil robot I expected. Felt so let down you wouldn't believe.

Good tastes. It's really amazing to think that all the stages in the megaman titles have their own song and the majority of them are good. Like you'd think only a few of them would be a banger and the majority would suck due to the compose being forced to come up with so many of them, but no, the quality is consistently good.

R&F2 sucks ass, controls & level design are uniformly mediocre while there's less content than even the Game Boy games and none of the music is original.
