it's not bad but some of the bosses are aids
It's not bad but some of the bosses are aids
If this game came out on the 3DS it would be lauded as the single best post-Adventure game by now.
its dogshit.
Has a decent start for the first 4 zones. Once you hit zone 5 the game nosedives off a cliff with level design, soundtrack, level themes, bosses, everything. It was a rushed cash grab.
it's a great game don't listen to this^ dingus
I don't know why Sega wouldn't fire the whole of Sonic Team and put Christian Whitehead in charge with a new team. Sonic would be fixed overnight.
its weird they didnt patch the bosses.
i dont even replay acts for time trials because the bosses take forever on purpose.
Release a pretty alright "classic" sonic game
Denuvo
Mandatory Epic Account
Shitendo intentionally released a similar game right next to it to eat up all the ad space
Get deranged enough to believe you can get away with Nintendo prices
Co-op multiplayer online only on Steam (and not really, since it's remote play)
Totally pointless "Premium" version to charge even more for
It's fucking impressive how bad SEGA both got fucked and fumbled this
Sonictards got real quiet after this turd dropped.
On the contrary, they were very vocal when the game came out about how much of a fucking fumble SEGA managed to pull off despite the game itself being alright.
I enjoyed it but not as much as mania
sonic manias was ruined because the last level was dogshit
Shitendo intentionally released a similar game right next to it to eat up all the ad space
and they are gonna shit all over crossworlds too
Super through it if you suck at it.
crossworlds will do decent because people like kart racers but not everyone is gonna get a switch 2 right off
A pointless victory since Sega will probably inevitably fuck up crossworlds when it comes out too with Denuvo and it'll still be the case that fucking Sonic And Sega Allstars racing transformed is peak kart racing
The $60 price tag is the most offensive thing about something that is the length of a typical Sonic game with about the same replayability.
Super through it
You did do all the special stages right?
Levels are 9/10
Bosses are -1000/10
This game deserved so much better. I thoroughly enjoyed it and has so much SOUL but I can't blame anyone who quit because of the dogshit graphics and offensively bad boss fights.
Hastily put together for your viewing pleasure, it honestly fits the low budget nature of Sonic games
introduce optional costumes for each character
they're all just DLC, with no unlockables
They really hoped people would give a shit about the multiplayer mode, didn't they?
It'd still be worse than Mania no matter how you spin it
And Generations
Levels average out at a 7/10 at best. The fantasy zone level taking forever knocks the whole thing down a point all on its own.
Nintendo intentionally released a similar game right next to it to eat up all the ad space
Annnnnd history repeats itself….
3d graphics arent great
bosses suck
some stage gimmicks suck
half the music is grating
sfx balance requires you to turn that shit down
singleplayer camera is zoomed in too much
emerald powers, while cool in concept, suck save a few
stage order and balance is weird
final boss makes no sense
final boss adds mechanics never used anywhere else
no extras except for stupid multiplayer bullshit nobody plays
That'll be $60 +tip.
gonna be a good year for racing games
Trip Sungazer
Watch her be another forgotten friend like her fellow orange and brown comrades
best females of their eras
all forgotten
Shit fanbase and shit corporation.
It's like $20 now
If I knew what I knew now, I wouldn't even pay that.
>Denuvo
>Mandatory Epic Account
None of this exists on the Switch version btw
Heres your Fang the Hunter bro
youtube.com
Titanic Monarch is unusually easy, yeah. I wonder Encore Mode tweaks bump it up a notch
There’s also F-Zero GX on Switch 2 Gamecube NSO, for those who plan to get it
Encore Mode barely changes the levels at all.
Fang is never coming back after SuperFlop…
if they put eternal darkness on switch 2 oh boy I'm buying it
It's a shit game, don't listen to that dipshit.
It's an average game, don't listen to either of these dipshits
Yeah. Pinball Carnival is a kino zone.
>singleplayer camera is zoomed in too much
It's literally 1:1 with the zoom level of the classic games.
It should have came out around 2012, this was the game I envisioned after Generations. It would have definitely succeeded in that timeframe. In a post-Mania world, it doesn't compare.
We'll always have TT16-bit

I think what people are seeing isn't the camera being zoomed in but the level assets being much bigger. It creates the illusion that the game is more zoomed in than normal despite Sonic being roughly the same size proportional to the screen as Mania.
It would've succeeded if only because Sonic 4 had set the bar so low by that point
Trip OLEV!
Brawl was on the Wii U e-shop, so I don't think melee's that unlikely.
This might sound like a shitpost or contrarian opinion, but the levels themselves I kind of like more than Mania's. Mania is definitely an overall better game especially comparing retail prices, but Mania has way too much automation to me.
No it wasn't.
Played through it with no expectations, seemed like a regular Sonic game, probably would have done better if it had a proper price.
Who would’ve developed in in place of Arzest? I’m thinking Dimps since they were still making handheld Sonic games, now I’m realizing how cool Superstars by Dimps could’ve been…
Same DK64 was on Wii U yet still somehow missing from N64, we got both Killer Instincts before it surprisingly
Man, you can really tell alot of anons here didn't use Bullet or Avatar on the boss fights.
It doesnt really matter on most bosses since they have invuln phases
one or two early hits
Wow that sure makes the rest so much better
Bosses get prolonged amounts of invincibility it’s fucking padded
Dimps post-Sonic 4 only made dogshit bro.
Even if you use powers some of the bosses are frustrating as hell
post-sonic 4
post
Fast Racing Neo is also getting a sequel on Switch 2.
That includes episode 2
The real strat is to only ever play as Amy for the hammer hitbox + double jump
But Trip has a double jump, clings to walls and flies in her super.
Not only are the bosses a complete deal breaker but the levels are bloated with too many special zones that you have to actively avoid to not ruin your flow. The power ups were a flop too
Sucks because the physics feel good and the level design is good but I will never play it again
