The setup and stories are identical. OoT improved on it for sure and threw in some gay ass Peter Pan shit for some reason, but that's kind of the point.
Virtually every mainline, 3D title is just ALttP with some random, out of context gimmick thrown on to make it seem like a whole new thing. It's the same fucking formula, the same fucking story, the same fucking lackluster journey with zero characterization or depth or meaning, and of course, the same shitty fucking gameplay that has not improved at all, and has even gotten worse in some cases, since 1997.
