Nintendo was always seen as the affordable option to the more powerful but expensive Sony and Microsoft options
Now they can be seen as the more expensive AND less powerful option
What exactly is the next step of their master plan?
Nintendo was always seen as the affordable option to the more powerful but expensive Sony and Microsoft options
Now they can be seen as the more expensive AND less powerful option
What exactly is the next step of their master plan?
does that say 80 FUCKING DOLLARS FOR TEARS OF THE KINGDOM
Why yes sir!
What? You don't want to pay $80 for KIRBY (released in 2022) or $70 for BOTW (A Wii-U game from 2017)???
I'll just wait for a sal- ACK
Make it make sense
Nintendo was always seen as the affordable option
eh i don't know. it was usually most expensive option when i was a kid
Cultist zombies who gave zero push back to their bullshit in the Switch era and actively defended their corporate bullying and dogshit treatment of consumers is what happened. Also millennial Peter pan syndromes who are addicted to nostalgia for IPs that have seen much better days.
Not defending Kiketendo but that's just the base game with the upgrade price, so if you own TOTK the upgrade is $10.
I heard region locking is back. No fucking way that's true right?
Its even funnier because their ports are insanely overpriced AND run like shit. I remember back in 2019 they wanted $60 for Doom when it was $20 on every other platform.
They've region-locked the fucking language options in the Switch 2's OS so they can squeeze a few more yen out of their Japanese customers. That's how out of control they are.
People are forgetting the best part
$80 for Mario Kart....but you know the DLC is gonna cost even MORE
Not the way you're thinking, no. Switch 2 consoles are unlocked same as Switch 1, but Japan has a second, cheaper edition that is region locked to Japan only.
Huh, that's super fucking weird
It feels like this is some bizarro Nintendo. They've always been greedy but never so blatantly like this
It might also be a jp specific language lock.
It's to guarantee domestic affordability while preventing mass chinese grey market exports because of the cheap yen.
Japan gets two versions of the console: the same one we do, which is unlocked, and a second cheaper one that is JP locked. That's it.
Make it make sense
It seems pretty consistent with Nintendo.
Hahahaha amazing
I will wait for the emulator, thank you
Why the fuck is some random jap gonna care about having different languages?
What exactly is the next step of their master plan?
They get away with it because millions of people will buy it anyway, sadly.
The Switch 2 has similar architecture so making an emulator is gonna be quick and easy
Now we sit and wait. I'm placing bets on a beta emulator out by December
It's like Sony's PS3-era arrogance all over again
Leave the billion dollar company alone
DK Banaza is 70 dollars and is a brand new game
SF6 is 60 dollars, relatively recent, and has a hefty chunk of its DLC
BD is 40 and pretty reasonably priced for being a 3DS port
Kirby, Zelda, and Mario Party are glorfied updates and expansions for old games
Being sold for 80 dollars
Nitendo has some balls here. Actually and truly.
The Switch 2 editions are basically base game + dlc so I understand why they're pricey as fuck. You still have the option to pay the base game for $60 or less if on sale. The fact that Mario Kart World is $80-90 is insane though
It feels like this is some bizarro Nintendo
You haven't been paying attention. The writing was on the wall with paid NSO for peer to peer online, the ridiculous expansion pass, the Mario Kart season pass, the absolute state they allowed Shitfreak to release Scat and Vomit on their system in, I can go on. The Switch era was handled by soulless corporate suits that wanted to be competitive for the first half, but now they know they don't even have to try.
Nintendo.
We dont want people emulating our system and games.
Also Nintendo.
Fuck you customer! Pay us for voice chat! Pay us for using online! Pay us for our own badly emulated n64 games! Pay us for re-releases! Pay us for upgrades! Pay us for a badly run OS! Pay us for mouse feature! Pay us for empty blank cartridges!
Wait for Black Friday or buy used lmao.
I already own the Zeldas and the Switch 2 upgrade is free for NSO members.
Street Fighter 6, has two years of DLC, and is only a year old, and costs $60
Kirby, has the DLC, is 3 years old, and costs $80
Why pay less and get more when you can pay more and get less?
Welcome to inflation, kids.
$80 today was the equivalent of $60 in 2016.
All free on this sleek fellow since 2021
Come home white man.
Or get an Ally X, or a Legion Go 2. I don't care. I'm probably getting a Switch 2 as well but if you need to make a choice then UMPCs clear the Switch 2 especially the stronger ones.
Stop
No one is taking the inflation bait
I can't believe they day has finally arrived where wahoos are more expensive than movies
Hum Dee Dum Dum~
Wuh? Oh sorry, didn't see you guys there
Just enjoying my steam deck
How's the Switch 2? Surely it MUST be like ten times more powerful than a Deck right?
You have less buying power than your father did in the 90's.
Okay, now post yours with a timestamp.
Free...? FREE?
50 dollars a month for NSO expansion pack
Still don't get to own the games you're downloading for "free"
go on YouTube

Is this the first time ever where Nintendo has fucked up so bad that even all of their usual defenders are pissed at them?
so if you own TOTK the upgrade is $10
That’s fucked up. When I got a ps5 a ton of games I owned like resident evil2,3,4 had FREE improved ps5 upgrades.
always
Nah, just for the last 3 generations.
Is this the first time ever where Nintendo has fucked up so bad that even all of their usual defenders are pissed at them?
No
Reggie and Iwata fought for having Wii Sports be a pack in title to show what the Wii can do and it turned out to be one of the best decisions the company made
Nobody is around to fight anymore
A fucking FAQ explaining how the system works now costs money (and we don't know how much either. Could be $5. Could be $20.)
You've got plenty of boomers on X doing the whole
BUT MUH SNES GAMES WERE 70 DOLLARS NO I WON'T ACKNOWLEDGE GAMES WERE CHEAPER WHEN THEY SWITCHED TO CD AND DVD
cope.
These boxes are pretty ugly. Did they really need such a huge red bar at the top?
Worse projected battery life than the fucking Deck 1
*INHALES*
Not all of them. I know you have to pay $10 for the Spider-Man upgrade. I didn't get it because it didn't seem to have any other perks.
Wii Sports was free.
Astro Labs was free.
How the fuck can this dogshit game cost anything?
Both my Xbox and PS5 have been a waste of money. I have played my Switch more than both of them combined.
It's the opposite. They language locked the cheaper version so it wouldn't get scalped and sold overseas. Otherwise Japanese people wouldn't be able to afford it.
Nitendo has some balls here. Actually and truly.
They know what their fans are like. Nintendo could sell freeze-dried feces, and as long as the packaging has Mario or Link on it, the fanboys would happily buy it no matter how much it costs.
warchest
I fucking hate tendie faggots so much it's unreal
Their first party games all require the $10 upgrade. It's shitty but it tracks and Snoy started it 5 years ago.
They were already pretty close to being this blatant about it with the Switch 1, but people excused and rewarded it at every turn.
The price hike to $80 and $90 games does feel like a watershed moment, though. When prices increased to $60 and $70, it was because of third parties using CoD and sports games respectively as a trojan horse for the higher prices during the start of a new generation. That was already bad enough, but this price hike is coming straight from Nintendo only a couple years after the $70 hike while they simultaneously nickel and dime you on every other aspect of the console too.
Nintendo was always seen as the affordable option to the more powerful but expensive Sony and Microsoft options
Now they can be seen as the more expensive AND less powerful option
All of this is true and yet they'll still sell the best. It's cope to think otherwise.
Deck costs $400 and is somehow more powerful than a Switch 2 despite being 3 years old AND is about to have an upgrade where it'll reach PS5 levels in about 2 years
And the games don't cost $80
AND we'll be able to emulate Switch 2
Might wanna keep inhaling there bud
I dunno about that, at a certain point people literally won't be able to afford this shit anymore
Worst part is that since this is jewtendo, the prices will never ever drop. Switch 2 can reach end of life and these will still be 90 dollars.
Yeah I'm just gonna wait for either emulation or hacks
You're paying for a new experience. The game has been improved visually and now has a companion app that runs on your phone while you play and adds hours of extra content.
PS4 scenario - where's the real competition? It's launch lineup has as many games of note as PS5 has after 5 years - 2, maybe 3.
Stop being anti-Japanese, gaijin. You don’t want little Hanako to starve, do you? They should be charging double that but decided to go without food on some days.
Nintendo "No, don't worry. This isn't a trend we're doing. Our future premium games are NOT going to cost $70."
Price hikes up to $80 and $90
$10 for a companion app that acts as a fucking navigation system
Who what when where and most importantly WHY
don't worry, with the new tariffs those prices are going to end up being higher
They didn't lie. We just skipped $70 as the norm and went straight to $80.
50 dollars a month
Year.
I'm on a family plan anyway, so I only pay $10 a year.
Switch 2 hasn’t sold yet.
Even the PS3 only cost that much at launch because they built the whole PS2 hardware into it. What Nintendo's doing is batshit insane. They're literally charging $7 for a fucking tutorial on how to move a mouse. It's beyond satire.
Where does the money even go? The hardware and games barely look different than the Switch 1, the specs are still a generation behind. Are the movies and theme park really that expensive that they need to beg for money like crack fiends?
I don't see the problem here. If you don't want to pay over $70 for the switch 2 edition, just buy the regular switch 1 version. It's not like Nintendo is going to delist them or anything
now has a companion app that runs on your phone
You're paying ten bucks to use a wiki
NoooOoo people need to be outraged about something.
So will that base version of zelda just run like shit until you pay for the upgrade?
80 dollaridoos for Mario Party
It's probably cheaper and more fun to get wasted with friends
This is unironically Pokemon's fault.
Specifically.
People from The Pokemon Company made it into Nintendo proper, and they know exactly how much slop the piggies will eat.
Pokemon did this to you.
Nintendo literally delisted the Wii U versions of games from the eShop, most of which were heavily discounted, when they released full-price ports of them on the Switch. I don't trust them not to pull the same underhanded bullshit with this.
sarah mclachlan music plays over footage of starving nintendo executives
Hi Don!
paying even one fucking cent for a fucking in game map
The deal here is that Switch 1 cartridges will still run on the new system.
I doubt it will run like shit, it will probably run better than on the switch with a more consistent framerate but fps will be capped and you won't get the higher resolution
Until they decide that's not making them enough money and patch that feature out. I put nothing past Nintendo anymore.
Used
About that, no more used games.
Until I see a Switch 2 running a Switch 1 game without an "Oops, looks like you're trying to play a game with a Switch 2 upgrade! Please purchase the upgrade to continue" screen, I am assuming the worst
Watch the direct
Month
Snoys don't pay monthly for their online do they?
You have old switch games?
If you play them on switch 2, you can buy a 20$ patch for each game to let us change the games graphic and performence setting.
Thanks Nintendo, you saved me money. I will always pirate your shit from now on.
Ummmmmm sirs it is the Switch 2 upgrade version, it comes with ingame GPS it is very worth it okay?
Quit fear mongering.
If that's the case, then it isn't the worst thing, but if they aren't adding a new game mode or anything like mario party or Kirby, then it should really just be a free upgrade like the other games. Kind of a dick movie solely because they know people want to play the Zelda games in high res
Yeah 80$ video games is insane but I'm just gonna pirate like usual fuck Nintendo
supposedly some games will have free updates for switch 2 like pokemon SV
This has more or less already been a thing. It was mostly lazy third parties doing this shit on OG switch while Nintendo put all their games on the cart. If Nintendo is gonna charge more for physical it better be fully on the cart because otherwise there is no point with their digital game sharing program
Nintendo are the biggest Jews in the industry
CRASHING THIS ONCE BELOVED VIDEO GAME COMPANY
I cannot WAIT for GameFreak's first S2 title
A DS game that's going to run at 4K (or p) 120fps (remove the 1)
It's going to be hilarious
Nintendo attempted to make the best systems with NES, SNES, N64, and Gamecube. Where they stopped was with Wii. They were priced with Sega & Xbox. The demand for Sony PS2 caused them to price Sony systems high. Sony has always tried to make premium, advanced products, until PS3/PS4, which I believe are American designed hardware.
Nintendo started being a kids product with SNES. They tried to shake it a little with N64 which had more extreme titles. They won’t go back because the switch makes too much money. They have Nintendo parks or something. So it’s a really conservative image for gaming, esp since Wii.
Eat up, piggie
Yeah it sucks especially with tears of the kingdom having already been $70 at launch, although that price has gone down now to the standard one. Dont know what to expect but my guess is these prices will creep down toward 60 a year or two after launch
Just like how the direct explained clearly that physical copies are just for pretend?
It's so retarded to watch this cycle happen over and over again.
gamecube: financial flop
wii: huge financial success
wii u: financial flop
switch: huge financial success
switch 2: take a wild guess based on this presentation and the fact they're charging 80 fucking dollars for a 2022 switch game that was $60
Nintendo literally never fails to fuck their customers up the ass when they're on top.
because otherwise there is no point with their digital game sharing program
I guess if it's not tied directly to your system and you can just sell the cart then it's not completely worthless, but I have my doubts.
I JUST REALIZED
Nintendo recently killed off their Gold Points incentive where you buy a game digitally and earn points to eventually get a game for free or slice off a good chunk of money
They didn't announce a replacement service here
They killed off a way to get free games by being a loyal customer just because fuck you
This is the beginning of the end of Nintendo.
Ok, I have extra fun for your sake.
You guys kept saying this last generation for every greedy move Nintendo made, and look where we are now.
Are these mfs for real, 80 bucks just to play the same game on the switch 2?
They're not going to delist them. The switch 1 games are literally on the switch 2 eshop. The physical copies of switch 2 edition games come with the regular switch 1 cartridge and an upgrade pack that you need to download from the eshop
nintendo is kill
This is the beginning of the end of Nintendo.
You people are hilarious reactionaries.
SAY "THANK YOU MR FURUKAWA" FOR DESTROYING YOUR CHILDHOOD COMPANY
it comes with ingame GPS
no, only on your phone
u kno understandu anon-kun we needs moar yens to pay niggeru hires!!!
If these prices are accurate, its cheaper to just order the original game on Amazon and pay for the upgrade separate
Ohhhhh now you fuckers like Iwata.
I see. I see.
Can't wait for the 300 dollaroos cardboard accessories LMAO!
I always liked iwata. Miyamoto is the one that needs to go.
Do our digital purchases transfer over?
Iwata would've taken a pay cut on his salary again if it meant bringing the console down to $399 and keeping the games firmly at $60
Iwata would've fought to have the tech demo be free and included with each system
Iwata would've had a fun new charm added to the system and games
I miss him
He oversees the movies and theme parks now, keep up.
Miyamoto is currently on his new crusade of erasing every single fucking thing about Donkey Kong from the past 30 years
Did u rike?
tendies getting fucked RAW
Love to see it
idk man, didn't he green light nintendo starting up DLC shit, and the venture into mobile slop?
Nintendo does anything
Anon Babble
STEAL IT AAAAA I WANT TO PLAY IT STEAL IT AAAA
Lmao
launch game for a system from 2017 is also a launch game for new system in 2025
genuinely sad to see people being excited for this crap
Yes, digital and physical games carry over.
This was in the Direct.
god i hate zoomer kong so much
DK has gone through about 20 revisions. Relax you man child.
The mobile shit was inevitable and Nintendo thankfully backed off it mostly
Where's the thread for the 120 switch games that don't work on the switch 2?
Surprisingly pro-consumer though they probably felt they had to in order to get people with massive switch libraries to take the leap
do we even know the price for upgrades?
Zoom Zoom
backwards compatibility used to be free.
Pls understand
Yes, there will be a system transfer to send all of the games and saves to the switch 2
Yeah, the new game looks dope as hell.
Title by title basis
$90 for physical games
Hey, maybe price hikes ARE a good thing. They just saved me $450.
imagine buying BotW and having to purchase DLC again
a brand new in-house Donkey Kong game, a Switch port, a multiplat game from years ago, and a Pokemon game will all be the same price
That is insane.
My understanding is the backwards compatibility is free. If you want the update to take full advantage of the hardware you have to pay though. Which sucks still
I can choose not too while buying the new games on Switch 2.
Nintendo has the brand goodwill to do it.
Sony and Microsoft would kill to be able to have that sway.
GameFreak will sell you a Pokemon game in 2026 that looks like that and runs at 20fps for $80
reminder that online+ users get the zelda enhancements for free
for $80
are you retarded? they'll be asking for 90$ minnimum
A lot of games are getting free updates, but many of them are adding a little bullshit non-optional feature to make you pay extra.
For free
$50
lol
The pokemon footage was running 60fps in the trailer.
Doesn't fix the artstyle but hey.
i wonder how Gen X and Gen V remake will turn out
purposely made an LCD version so they can whip out the OLED one for $500 in 2 years
Sigh
The funniest thing about the mario kart world price is that it‘s going to get a ton of paid dlc on top of it. A complete edition of the game might cost 200 dollary by the time it‘s done
People are already paying it so it's an extra perk.
Plus that includes GameCube NSO.
Noooooo where are my rehashed games!?!?!?!??
i rather wait for them to make a Legend of Zelda editon for the switch 2 next February.
$70 for DK
Inflation is shit and $70 is basically the new standard and it's A NEW game so fine.
$80 for Mario Kart
Should be $70
$70 for BOTW and $80 for TOTK you gotta be fucking kidding
Bravely Default and Street Fighter aren't even on the game cards lol
Jesus Christ. I'm not upgrading any game on principle. I'll buy DK and Mario Kart, but I'm not paying for fucking games I already own
why do i have this feeling that Nintendo is going to get Sakurai to develop several more characters for smash bros and make an upgrade edition? unless they make an entirely new smash brothers.
I'm surprised Nintendo didn't raise the price because of the gamecube games
Switch software sales are gonna look like this
at least we can have the boxart right?
TFW Leaf
No high paying jobs and $146 a game. Fucking kill me. My Niece and Nephew are lucky to have me as a game library.
That's what all sales are going to look like soon lol
True
Oh God I just had a thought
Sakurai is busy with Air Riders and won't be able to put out a Smash Bros for a few years
GameCube VC
Melee was noticiably absent
Why would the best selling title on that console NOT be there DAY 1 for VC unless....
Get ready for the shitty Bloom HD Melee for $80
wonder how much it is in south america
I feel for you Neighbor
It's not like Nintendo is going to delist them or anything
Hahahahaha, okay
I'm surprised Nintendo didn't raise the price because of the gamecube games
lmaoooo just wait
smash 64 isn't on the NSO either, so I doubt that. wonder what the sales will cost during eshop sales.
And it will sell millions.
$5 off
Is the goodwill in here with us?
they remake melee
nobody plays it because it's worse than the gamecube one
Bold assumption thinking the eShop will ever have sales.
selling a 2019 wii u game at exactly the same price
selling the rehash of that wii u game at an even higher price than it was originally
What the actual fuck are they doing
Will Nintendo be stupid enough to respond to the backlash is the real question
People buy it, so why not?
Eshop sales
I only ever saw Mario Odyssey on sale once for like $50 and this was in 2023
When has Nintendo ever given a shit about what their fans think? The only way they're changing course on any of this is if the Switch 2 starts out like the Wii U.
It's 30(THIRTY) fucking dollars.
HDR support on a LCD is only there so games are built around OLED later. Good thing I basically never play handheld.
Ask normies.
Their money matters most.
Nintendo only backed down when they were in the shitter financially
They're trying to stop Chinks from buying up all the Japanese Switch 2 consoles and sending them to China like what happened with the PS5
There won't be a 3ds style pricecut, but for games, will there?
They have sales on Black Friday and Mario Day.
They're both $10 more expensive.
Now you'll get that with first parties
$30 fucking dollars for a fucking guide game NINTENDO WTF
considering that switch 2 software architecture doesn't look like a huge difference, i imagine emulation will come really quickly
They've done it only once before and that was with the Switch's launch line up
Crazy how this line up isn't that great either. Bunch of old multiports, Mario Kart, and DK
Apologize.
Nintendo is sitting on a dragon's hoard of cash, aren't they? Can they afford to wait out the market and simply force people to pay the new rate?
Kirby is a Nintendo game. Nintendo has a monopoly on Nintendo games.
No fucking shot
I refuse to believe
90 fucking euros for mario. This looks so funny i can‘t believe it‘s real
Why do you think Nintendo went so hard on the two big Switch emulators so recently?
selling a 2019 wii u game at exactly the same price
They sold Pikmin 3 for $60 on Switch when it was $20 on Wii U at the same time... then it conveniently disappeared from the Wii U eShop when people noticed that.
I think I might get a Switch 1 and beg for games.
I'm Out
Tendies deserve to get fucked mate.
the Switch 2 upgrade is free for NSO members.
Where did you hear that? Because they didn't say that in the Direct at all.
They won't price cut it unless the games are major flops.
That's the only way they will see "okay we were wrong"
Wait until Sony inevitably announce PS6 will be sold for $800.
Yeah, should've been an OLED from the beginning, but I don't care. This shit is gonna spend 99% of its time in the dock connected to my 77G4.
The cartridges cost more to produce so they charge more
We’ll see if it drops down 10 after a year
How would they be able to sell you the OLED version in a year for $100 more?
Same reason there's no hall effect sticks. So they can sell a Joycon+ pair for $200
Wasn't the whole point of moving to cartridges to "be cheaper than blu ray discs"
When has Nintendo ever given a shit about what their fans think?
They lowered the 3DS' price when people refused to buy it for $250. That was 14 years ago, though, and consumers these days don't have the spine or willpower they did back then.
Nintendo wanted $60 for doom
That was Bethesda, you fucking retard.
Only cause of Iwata too willing to cut his salary down
Furukawa would rather layoff half the company before letting that happen
The cartridges cost more to produce
They don't even contain game data anymore.
It's gonna be a rough and short gen for them. Ten years from now, tendietards on youtube will be making videos about how it was just marketed poorly and everyone thought it was a switch accessory.
AAA devs need a memory huge to put all the uncompressed assets.
pay piggy pay.
I avoid the ones that don't.
It will tell you on the front of the package.
Imagine buying anything from Nintendo. You total slop enjoyer
They're not cartridges, and it's because disks in a handheld is retarded. Yes, the psp was a mistake.
the only good thing about this s the USB gamecube controller so people can use it on pc.
specially for the C copyright button to report everything nintendo doesn't like.
It's times like these where I actually understand what a tendie is. I'm a Nintendo enjoyer but I can't defend this shit. At least with the first Switch you could pick up a Lite if you wanted to go cheap, I didn't but the option was there. My TV doesn't support HDR or 4K or even anything past 60hz so a Switch 2 Lite actually would suit me. Really to me it's less about the system price and more about the game prices. Nobody wanted to accept $70 and here's Nintendo, the family company, leaping even higher. Poor parents.
Oh so does that mean the upgrade patches are $10? That's not as bad as I thought
You can already use Gamecube controllers on PC with the Smash 4 adapter.
thank your president
YOU VILL SPEND $70 ON THE ENCHANCED EDITION AND SHELL OUT $50 FOR AN EXPRESS MICROSD CARD ALONG WITH THE $450 CONSOLE IN ORDER TO.....load your games 4 seconds faster.....
I don't see the other companies or Steam offering physical versions.
Playstation sells the disk drives separately now and Xbox is pretty much going all digital.
I miss dedicated handhelds, not this hybrid nonsense. if there was a "4DS" pokemon would probably still be good, game prices would still be affordable, games could still be made in a budget, things like street pass, download play, etc would still be a thing, game developers could make a profit, customization, etc.
There were no tariffs when these prices were decided, and they affect the entire world.
It is free. The "HD graphics enhancement update" is $10 (or free with a Nintendo Online subscription.)
$10-$20 but it's weird
It's $10 for Zelda but $20 for Kirby and Mario Kart
lol wot?
Cartridges will never be cheaper than disks which a like a few cents to produce
NooooOOoo you're suppose to pretend nintendo is selling switch 1 games again so you can get angry
we live in uncertain times so prices are bound to rise
kirby is new dlc
mario kart is a new game
You're just bullshitting. Nintendo is pricing everything so high because they know their domesticated cattle will pay for it.
The ones that don’t will most likely be cheaper, which is why they’re using them most likely
It’s a securom digital version which is most likely sellable
Mario Party and Kirby are getting new content so it makes sense.
Literally all they had to do was make the switch 2 $399 and keep the games at $59.99
that's literally ALL THEY HAD TO DO
THE SWITCH IS ONE OF THE BEST SELLING SYSTEMS EVER HOW THE FUCK DO THEY NEED MORE MONEY
WHY IS IT SO FUCKING JEWISH????
I know. but this is out of the box and probably will have better support (probably for emulation, not oficcial) and some extra function.
idk like gyro? who knows.
I play most retro games with an snes joy and a usb adapter. everything else PC witha dual shock 3
Nintendo was always seen as the affordable option
Since fucking when? The only kids I knew who owned a N64 were rich kids.
It's $10 for Zelda but $20 for Kirby
Zelda is the $10 graphics enhancement update, Kirby is the $10 graphics enhancement update plus a new DLC.
If I don't care about graphics or higher resolution what reason is there to buy the switch 2?
USB gamecube controller
Isn't it wireless?
IT IS OK WHEN NINTENDO DOES IT!
Content
I mean...I guess some camera mini games count as that for MP...
Why are you so bitchy today anon?
I don’t think that’s an enhanced version difference
That’s just the console
Enhanced versions have higher resolution and textures
JP locked
what exactly does this mean?
I'm fully able to read and understand japanese but I don't live in japan
is it at all an option for me to get the cheaper version? what about the eshop acc?
Affordable? Nintendo?
Seems you never had a Nintendo console in your life.
It's "$80" for the game plus a new addition exclusive to the Switch 2.
You're effectively buying DLC.
Nintendo was always seen as the affordable option to the more powerful but expensive Sony
awwww lil zoom zoom trying to script his first video essay
Tarrifs and inflation combined with rising development costs.
Isn’t that the opposite?
So you can sell the game card and whoever owns it can download the digital copy but you can’t play it without that key
That was not even his point you absolute shitposting mongrel.
Nintendo is gonna charge more for physical it better be fully on the cart because otherwise there is no point with their digital game sharing program
What is game-key card
game-key card
game-key
key
inflation isn't real
tariffs have no effect on fucking 1s and 0s
this is all complete jewish horseshit
never said is not. but it has a USC-C port. you need to pair it. I guess. also play when is not charged. usual shit.
Not Tariffs
Everyone is paying the same prices
This is letting you resell download codes instead of having them become useless after use.
also. all devs mentioned "buy" the upgrade. probably they are forced to not release them for free.
Was already a thing for certain games on Switch 1.
except japan
Dude! Just print more money!
I've always thought that the hybrid approach is flatly worse than keeping them both seperate. The Switch has been a terrible replacement for the DS line in every way.
On the other hand, Pokemon already went to shit on the 3DS, and if there was a 4DS, the games still would have been at least $50.
probably they are forced to not release them for free.
They already announced a lineup of first party games that are getting free updates instead of paid ones.
It probably depends on how big the "patch" is.
Inflation is not calculated on the cost of the good anon
It’s on the cost of development
online+
free
lmao
Are you daft? This is to stop chinks from scalping the console and leaving actual japanese citizens with nothing. It's baffling how "people" are somehow spinning this into a bad thing.
We're going to pretend like the GCN, GBA, DS, Wii, Wii-U, 3DS (after price cut), and Switch weren't all affordable
Zoom Zoom!
1st party also maybe only free if suscription to nintendo turbo plus online wso who knows
They’re selling it at a loss to the Japanese
Even Japan's prices still increased quite a bit. It's just less severe for them than other countries because the yen is weak right now.
The Switch has been a terrible replacement for the DS line in every way.
Because it's not a DS, it's a Switch.
Maybe that just means they won't run on Switch 2 out of the gate and need to download a basic compatibility patch.
Scat and Vomit
LMAO
You're funny anon, I'm gonna call them that too now. It's too accurate!
It's to [headcanon]
They already have a method in place to secure preorders and stop scalpers for the rest of the world. But conviently leave out Japan?
Dipshit.
Nintendo was always seen as the affordable option
This has literally never been true since nintendo still demands full price for decade old games. The price of the console itself is irrelevant.
I just don't want to imagine the backlash if japan hated them as well.
America is the only place that matters, sucker
these games are cheap if you already bought them on the Switch
They know the addicts and and the corporate cheerleaders will buy whatever they sell for however much they're asking, simple as
I can't wait until they reveal that vouchers will now be $150
try to play Melee Super Deluxe HD online
it's like every other Nintendo Smash game, basically unplayable
play Slippi
has rollback, enough said
That's nice and all, but there's still no replacement for the DS line and all that's left is a product that lacks most of what made the DS line so appealing.
Anon the cartridge still works as a key that will always download the game. It's actually better than a code that you link to your account. You can resell that... Don't get me wrong it still sucks.
half of the board owns $700 iphones or samsungs
these things are actually cheap
From what I understand
if it's just standard resolution/frame rate upgrade, it's free
if it gets to use Nintendo Switch 2 features, you pay 10$
if it has actual expanded content like Jamboree TV or Forgotten Land's new story expansion, you pay 20$
And NSO+ means you get the paid upgrades for free so long as you are subscribed.
two 80 dollar ports already sold out
The Nintendo cattle boughted after all, so this shit is now valid in the eyes of the corpos. 80 dollars will be the new norm next gen, get ready for it.
nintendo.com
What are you even talking about, you retard. Japanese people have the choice between BOTH region-locked or unlocked systems if they want. If anything, you should be mad that Japan is getting better treatment. It's like people literally lost the ability to read recently or something.
Honesty the system price is not that big of a deal
I think the issue is more the game prices
half of the board owns $700 iphones or samsungs
source: my bleeding anus
A lot of phones are cheaper than $700, and you practically need a phone in today's society. You don't need a game console.
I have fifty thousand dollars
Should I buy the switch 2?
A phone is a necessity. A bing bing tablet isn‘t
wrong I still use my android nokia 6.1 from 2018 I bought on sale for $85
it just works. battery last 3 days and all I do is receive mails and listen/watch youtube with adblock (for free ofc)
Only absolute retards think the system itself is expensive. The problem and is a BIG problem is the games. Because Nintendo will NEVER discount their price. It's actually really bad.
And the phone likely has better specs than the Switch 2 while also not charging $90 for software, $7 for a tutorial, etc.
Is it unlocked?
Or is it just multilingual because fuck Gaijin in Japan
mine costed 400$ and that's only because i wanted to run games on it.
also a phone is a fucking necessity, you don't NEED a bingbing tablet to live.
The problem and is a BIG problem is the games
and everything else, they are charging 80$ for the fucking controller
How much was the previous pro controller?
Black Friday
In the 2020s
Oh nononono
$60, which was already $10 more than the better and more reliable Wii U Pro Controller cost.
60$
It's $70. The other anons are lying
Is this the first time the US is paying the same as the rest of the world?
Would explain a lot of the shock
It's really a shame that the good will the direct had came to a screeching halt as soon as pricing was confirmed. Hell, the fact that the Mario Party Jamboree confirmed you gotta pay for the "Nintendo Switch 2 version" of the games is absolutely outrageous. I don't know if they have exact numbers on the "upgrades", but it makes me worry regardless.
I know it's not going to be "every" game, as confirmed by Bananza, but it's going to be most of them. Unless they come out and specify it's "$80 but it'll come with all of its DLC", maybe it'll make the blow less harsh, but that still means it's being forced on you whether you like it or not. That's maximum cope though, and I won't pretend it's anything but.
This is the real answer
controllers are least they are physical and 1stparty ones have reasonable quality. is not the same. also most controllers are about that if not more. it just depends on how many functions it has.
and Trump just dropped tariffs on EVERYONE so the prices of everything might get even higher for the US
Are you ready for another great depression?
Headcanon
You can get mario odyssey physical for $40 right now. Eshop isn't always the cheapest option
A phone is a necessity
WAHOOO is not
Where is this image from?
PAY MORE MONEY LOSER
>and Trump just dropped tariffs on EVERYONE so the prices of everything might get even higher for the US
tendies get fuck by Nintendo
get fucked again by Trump
A man can wish.
Anon, the opposite is the case
You were headed for that, did you not see interest rates?
Based I hope he drops them a day before the Switch 2 release
dekudeals.com
It has been cheaper than that, both physical and Digital, at least half off. The only real hope is that there will be decent enough discounts given for Switch 2 as well.
inflation
wages have gone up at the same rate right? right?
future pokemon games will very likely cost 80 buckaroos now
We need to drop a third nuke.
Just gotta wait a short 7 years for a decent price drop.
Nintendo is my friend.
buying modern Pokemon games
Yes, now keep chasing inflation rates, I’m sure that’ll work out well
Hang on, let me carry this wheelbarrow of cash for a loaf of bread
Knowing the lifespans of consoles now, that might not even be an exaggeration.
Europe been had tariffs. Its a new thing in the US and Trump keeps flip flopping on it so who fucking knows
holy bootlicker
I look forward to Nintendo raising the prices even more for Canadians despite the fact they come straight here from Asia.
Buying game freak slop past 3ds era
there were no tariffs
Sources?
get a gf, bro
then how the fuck are they still breaking sales records, who is buying this shit?
i voted trump but not like this
Holy economic retard socialist that’s destroyed over 100 countries
I'm sure nintendo planned for Trump to be an unpredictable retard. That's almost certainly part of the $450 and $80 price tags
Pokemon is like an addicting drug. A lot of people know it's bad but can't quit
maintaining purchasing power BAD
kys ancap retard
mindless consumerism is at an all time peak
silver lining about economic collapse is that this shit will hopefully end
If you ask me, I think TOTK is worth $99.99. Just $80 is a steal when you think about it.
You don't want to shill $450 for a toy? Get a gf!
maintaining purchasing power
Oh god, you are a retard
Obviously, you don't remember how the Wii U's $350 launch price tag was shit on relentlessly when people could get Xbox 360s and PS3s for like $200 at that time.
LINE MUST GO UP
NO EXCEPTIONS.
things get more expensive
people now have less money to buy them unless you increase their wages
yes that is how it works
Wasn't ingame GPS in fucking GTA 4 fifteen years ago?
S/V were the buggiest ugliest Pokemon games ever
And it broke like 20 million instantly
Go home Furukawa
Pokemon fans are some of the most mind controlled people on the entire planet. They have defended awful performance and bland graphics because it's Pokemon. This isn't even factoring that the games probably make 10% or less of the company's profits, as people are always buying up merch.
The Pokemon Company is dumb af. They obviously don't realize that the games are what created all the fans in the first place and they're going to be in a bad place in a decade or two if they don't start making better games that can actually capture a new audience.
Children might like Pokemon way more if they actually played a great 40 hour long RPG as a 10yo instead of halfhearted broken contentless handholding trashheaps
tendies are defending paying $70 for a wii u game from 2017
holy fucking lmao
Is anyone defending this?
Not an issue for me, I already own Breath of the Wild.
Buy a used Switch copy if you don't want it at full price and don't want the Switch 2 Update DLC.
I just picked up a $300 Motorola Edge with a Snapdragon processor which is apparently powerful enough to emulate GameCube & PS2 games, pretty neat for something I'm already going to be using everyday, cheap phone bro
the used market has been obliterated
No, it says 79.99 goyim
government keeps borrowing money at unprecedented rates
purchasing power goes down
chase with wages
causes economic death spiral
This is your brain on socialism
JP only eshop account. You need to have more than a year old account with 100+ hours total playtime to be able to buy the cheap version
buy a used copy
pay $10 for the upgrade pack
problem solved
Their fans are cultists who will eat shit
I'm just buying the console at launch, and letting it rot in my closet until it gets hacked and I can pirate every game. Fuck Nintendo.
Nintendo has been dead since the Wii, anon. Welcome to 2006.
Unlike a switch a phone is actually useful for everyday tasks and unless you're an appletard you can install whatever you want on it
sorry this copy is registered to Jamal's switch. pls buy the game again.
name one socialist country that has ever paid decent wages
buying gamefreak slop in the 3ds era
They’re not registered though
yet.
I use my phone every day, I haven't used my Switch in 5 years.
Yeah, the 3DS games sucked ass and were 300% more lil babby mode
450 console and 70-80 dollar games
vs
800 console and 100 dollar games
All of them, until they couldn’t because they collapsed
Increasing wages increases prices increasing wages increases prices
Hence death spiral, you understand yet anon?
That's not how it works dumbass
I'd say most people liked the Direct a lot, but that's because they didn't confirm the price of the console and the games. It was only afterwards did people start noticing the prices being posted and that's where the rage started. It's one of the reason people are posting it everywhere, because plenty of people simply went on about their days and didn't think about it.
Underage? Or retarded? You decide!
There are thirdies that saved years of couch change to buy a steam deck to emulate Nintendo Switch games.
Nintendo is 0 for 3 on their last console being hackable within a week. There's no fucking way they'll fuck it up again. Don't expect emulators and roms for this thing ever.
Affordable option
Bull fucking shit. Affordable options are games on sale, which Nintendo rarely does for their first party titles
And are these $100 games in the room with us?
PS6
$500
All digital
No pack-in
it's only a matter of time until Rockstar reveals GTA6 is $100
It really is the beginning of the great pirate era.
Are you retarded?
The wages in late USSR were fine. You just were limited in what you could use them for but applied to the rich as well as the poor. Anything that was as readily available as vidya is today thanks to digital was easily affordable.
Yay we're all too poor to buy games now
Best timeline
mark my words. see you in 2 years. tendie
I'm waiting for the engineer autists to figure out a way to exploit the magnets.
$70 for an 8 year old game that originally launched for $60 is a special level of jewery i never even considered possible
Wrongamundo!
I still use a discarded android s8 from 10 years ago, and it's the best music player I ever had. My phone is a cheap flip phone from walmart used for being a burner. 20 bucks max.
Is a switch game (still 60 because nintendo never cuts prices) with dlc attached.
Same for kirby
Upgrades are 10 dollars or given if you pay the subscription for anything that is not a game that adds extra content. Which is kirby and Mario party for now.
Just keep playing the switch game. The reall issue is mariokart it should not be 80.
The switch 1 cartridge doesn't have the game key shit, idiot lol
is just language locked
YOU SHOULD HAVE LEARNED JAPANESE
snoy seethes over facts that have been talked about for months
holy brainwashed
I will never pay $70 for a video game even if it means I never play one again.
Can't even post a single $100 game?
With DLC
Citation needed. BotW May or May not include the dlc
how in the FUCK is TOTK more expensive now?
Nintendo is for the white and asian children of double income middle class parents, not for adult NEETs. Move along.
It's the game (which hasn't changed price) plus the $10 Switch 2 Graphics Update DLC
Holy economic retard
BOTW full price $60 + upgrade pack $10
TOTK full price $70 + upgrade pack $10
There you go
What exactly am I upgrading for
the game is like 3 fucking years old.
multi-language systems are about $200 extra
What a meme.
Dunno yet
How old was Last of Us?
FPS and Resolution boost
The dlc i mean is the upgraded extra content.
If its only technical upgrades is 10 dollars extra or "FREE" with nso. That is why botw is 70 and totk (originally 70 dolla game) is 80.
But if they add extra content like the new minigames for mp and the crystal ng++ of kirby then is 20 for the upgrade. 60 of the original + 20 so they cost 80.
Nintendo is just fucking dogshit at giving this info so it looks like is selliing a a more expensive remaster like that of last of us.
Is just the old sw1 game plus and uograde option, if you own the game already just pay the upgrade if you want. The main issue is that you should be able to opt out of the extra content for kirby and mp and just pay the 10 dollar one.
do you see me defending neil cuckmann? nintendo are being WORSE than sony, somehow.
Niega are you new to Nintendo.
These mofos never drop price also if you own the game already just pay 10 dollars of you want more fps and res.
how are you retards defending $90 ports
snoys have spent the past several months screaming anyone not sucking off GTA 6 being $100+ is poor
they turn around and cry about nintendo charging $70
guess what, you beat sony to the $90 punch, congrats. great for gaming.
Incredibly no. Because if you own last of us on ps4 you cant upgrade to the remaster version.
sony raises the price of games first
nintendo does the same later
REEEEEEEEEE FUCKING NINTENDO HOW DARE THEY
Just buy the game used.
There i saved you 30-40 bucks.
people in this thread pay for the ultimate edition of games for that sweet 3 day early access all for the low price of $120 to $200
complains about nintendo
you faggots started this over a decade ago instead of properly boycotting companies.
people in this thread pay for the ultimate edition of games for that sweet 3 day early access all for the low price of $120 to $200
you love to creep on children, see, i can also make shit up
again, how are you retards defending $90 mariokart
I hate the last of us btw
Nintendo's most influential franchises are in their death throes. You can stop pretending sony's forced movieslop is relevant at this point.
he's buying it
he's got to have the bing bing monkey and a game he's been playing for 10 years
Just upgrade everything. Why suffer for principles if nobody thinks you have them?
How is piracy on the switch 1 if I don't care about online play? Might grab a lite for dirt cheap around switch 2 release time
death throes
lol, you are fucking delusional my man
Nintendo raised the price of handheld games from $40 on the 3DS to $60 on Switch. Then they increased again to $70 on the same console for no reason other than "everyone else is doing it." Now just a couple years later they're up to $80 and $90 games. By the end of the Switch 2's lifecycle, their games will be $100+.
Nintendo has lost their minds and it's absurd to compare anyone else to them right now.
faggots literally defend electronic arts
post some wojaks already
THE RAPIST OF PALWORLD
THE DOMINATOR OF EMULATION
THE APEX OF APEX
MR. 80 DOLLARS
This is just chasing increased costs anon
Who do you think pays for those increased wages?
Nintendo raised the price of handheld games from $40 on the 3DS to $60 on Switch
The Switch is more of a home console with portability than an old-school handheld. Actual handheld gaming died.
what that anon said is true, and snoys DO love to creep on children
and snoys DO love to creep on children
Splatoon and Smash
What increased costs? They rarely buy studios. They continue to lag a generation behind the rest of the industry in specs. They've cut every possible corner with build quality and made Nintendium a thing of the past. They pinch every penny they can while demanding more and more from the customer.
Again, the theme park and movies must be a way bigger money sink than we know. Either that or Miyamoto just really wants his fifth and sixth yachts.
Somehow Bravely Default being $40 in all this makes me the angriest.
It's inflation, it's tarrifs, they put a lot of effort into remastering it! They have to charge more to break even!
Squeenix can break even with a $40 remaster of a game that was $40 game like 12 years ago.
Metroid Prime's Switch Release is fantastic quality remaster and only cost $40.
So why in god's name does a Mario Party game that's not even a year old, with barely any remastering or new features cost $80 + whatever the price of the retarded camera add-on that's required for half the new content. I'm fucking fuming.
I just said wages
Can’t you read?
They killed the gold points thing so there's no point in buying games when they release anymore. The problem takes care of itself
Plus tariffs, tax and tip.
dollars a month for NSO expansion pack
No it isn't.
Deck costs $400 and is somehow more powerful
Lmao, no it isn't.
Is Anon Babble too young to have lived through covid now? While you were playing video games and ignoring your zoom classes your buying power was reduced by 30%.
Nintendo's average salary decreased by 2.3% last year, so no, that doesn't explain how greedy their prices are either.
sony VP
Not really. Zelda is skating on a generic open world premise that came out almost a decade ago while both it and Mario are being geared toward anime appeal because they can't think of anything better to do with them at this point. Go ahead and keep buying Nintendo's deteriorating product while it doubles in price. Maybe that will be enough to keep them from having the same financial problems every other major game company already has.
Where are these prices being listed? I need to see this to believe it.
What exactly is the next step of their master plan?
Nintendo seems to have fully embraced the idea of a premium experience. Not only with the insanely priced games, but also with the equipment with things that don't make any sense.
Why the fuck does the Switch 2 screen need to be 1080p/120fps/HDR? No, seriously. I know it makes for a better experience, but it's fucking Nintendo we're talking about here, not even the fat autistic guys who buy Steam Deck would opt for a screen like this instead of picking up a more modest model, unless it's out of pure vanity, but suddenly the Switch that was known for selling 50 million Animal Crossing for women to play during the pandemic has decided to make "hardcore" overpowered choices part of its basic product.
$40 for BD
edea bros win again
Personal problem. I put several hundred hours into my Switch every year.
you guys have one pedophile, we have dozens, but you're worse
ok child diddler
while both it and Mario are being geared toward anime appeal
Literally what?
Where's the $90 stuff everyone is parroting?
everyone keeps whining about nintendo making weak consoles and bla bla bla
if only they make a 4k console blablabla
it would sell a lot blablabla
they finaly make a actual fucking strong console again
everyone is whining about it being expensive
It's up anon's ass.
What exactly is the next step of their master plan?
Having their theme park attractions fail, since that industry is collapsing upon itself as well.
And maybe ruining the upcoming Zelda live action movie trilogy by turning it into a critically-panned flop?
Whats that sound???
WHIIIIIIIRRRRRRRR
everyone is whining about it being expensive
the console's price is ok for what it is, the fucking games and add-ons is the issue
It would’ve been strong maybe 7 years ago, but everyone’s moved on
sonypedo still trying to defend his pedoVP
lets not forget all the pedos infesting fortnite, sony's biggest game
last year
Count from seven years ago anon
sony now owns fortnite
i think all the CP you consume has rotted your brain
This fanboyism is getting pretty delusional
>they finaly make a actual fucking strong console again
it's weaker than the fucking steam deck
steam deck is pretty fucking strong
while both it and Mario are being geared toward anime appeal
???
It made sense at the time. Cartridges simply couldn't hold enough information back in 2004/2005 without costing an arm and a leg.
piss5 is nothing but a F2P kiddie diddler paradise
The shitdeck struggles to play switch games lmao
no tariffs when these prices were decided
Nintendo already moved a lot of shit out of China to Trump-proof their supply lines the first go around, you don't think they'd put in protective retail measures just in case he made it back into office
Look on the bright side of this, maybe in a few months or years, Nintendo will realize this and lower the price of all its games.
pedophile ran out of arguments and is now throwing a tantrum
not only you jerk off to children, but you act like one as well
Lmao they moved it to Vietnam which got hit with a 46% tariff. I hope it remains until the Switch 2 launches. I wanna see this shit die in the fucking womb.
Genuinely what were they thinking with $80 games?
yurop retailers
they thought 'wow, these filthy gaijins will eat our shit if we sold it to them'
sonypedo keeps kicking and screaming because sony is infested with pedos
they thought "well sony is already charging $80 for games and they're talking about charging $100"
who are you quoting child diddler?
no argument
concession accepted, sonypedo
You should know by now Anon Babble like to complain and when they finally get what they wanted, they find something else to complain about
you will own nothing and be happy
translation: i want to keep crying but my CP stash is calling for me
meltdown status?
this thread
now I know I should be saving for a pc gamer, thanks nintendo, always so handy
Mario Kart alone guarantees that this thing will not reach 3DS levels of flop, so no.
its ok maybe you can have the next one
PvPvE
I've never seen people's hype die so quickly with a single tag
Don't forget that SF6 is a 'game-key card' so it's literally a 100kb key.txt file on it that unlocks the game on the eshop
Nintendo producing e-waste, so cool!
I'm trans, btw
forgot to mention that
Not a thing in America though, already confirmed.
imagine playing Shit Farter 6 on this thing. LOL
Call me a schizo but I honestly think Nintendo has something against the past smash games
people ask them years for a melee HD
ignored
smash 64 absent from the eshop
wouldn't even be surprised if melee doesn't arrive on the GC app thing, i-d be happy to be proven wrong tho.
Guess what anon, as speed increases and new tech gets made, the same thing occurs
It's okay. Ninetendo games go on sale all the time.
but dude... they'll add a new minigame with the microphone and might even let you AR yourself into the game with the camera... that's totally worth $449.99 + $79.99...
You're paying for a new experience.
You don't actually believe this.
well said, anon. the writing has definitely been on the wall.
You're paying for a new experience.
no wonder nintendo can and will get away with this, you people are fucking idiots
This is Nintendogaf
It's okay when Nintendo does it. Anon Babble will shit on a company and defend Nintendo for doing the same thing within the span of a day.
But pal world is doing fine
sssshhhhhhhhh
Deck can play FF7 Rebirth
Switch can...DAWWW HOW CUTE, IT'S PLAYING FF7R FROM 2020
Nintendo does something that every other company has been doing for decades
it makes people seethe for some reason
Why does this always happen?
First time?
They have games though
Is not a remaster or a rerelease or anything is just the same sw1 game with some extra. If you buy sw1 and buy the uograde you get the same.
Just buy it used and you saved some 30 bucks.
It looks like the paid patches all have some kind of DLC attached. Zelda has the retarded GPS phone app (and is free with Online+ so is more likely made to push people to buy Online+. As scummy as that is.), Kirby has a new campaign, and Mario Party has a new mode and style of gameplay. I am interested in seeing the enhanced version of Scarlet and Violet if only because that game runs like such hot ass.
I dislike the console price but given the state of the economy it isn't really a surprise. The stark difference between US and Japanese hardware cost is telling too. The game prices are a bigger issue for me. 80 dollars is a lot of fucking money and while I'm happy to see we're going back to the DS era of game sharing for local multiplayer, its still so fucking much. And third parties aren't overcharging so unlike the system it is clearly not a tariff or production issue. I think the Switch 2 will end up being very similar to the 3DS. Right down to the price cut and ambassador program.
on launch it only has Mario Kart
it's open world because Nintendo ran out of ideas
iwata would have never let this happen
The game prices are a bigger issue for me. 80 dollars is a lot of fucking money
At least that's only Mario Kart and games that include Switch 2 patches (for now.) Donkey Kong is confirmed $70.
Crashing this market.
WITH NO SURVIVORS!
How much does the disabled person's basketball game cost?
The switch patches only matter if you dont own the game already or dont have nso+.
Not up on the page but probably $80 if it's a new IP
