The fossils heading Squeenix decided that since XIV was successful that they'd have CBU3 develop a bunch of other games on top of supporting CBU3, so the game's run by C-teamers since all of the competent people got promoted

I think when I shared a house with a friend I did have this one neighbor who would just stand outside his house 24 hours a day. But aside from that one mentally ill unhinged individual I never saw anyone in the housing districts. It is dumb that they didn't make it instanced.

nta but I just wanted to play an mmo so I tried xiv, gw2, and wow. Wow was ugly and boring so I stopped. XIV is pretty and had an interesting story and gw2 is free so I ended up playing those. My enjoying of one game is unrelated to the quality or lack of quality in another game. It's just a case of one holds my attention and the other doesn't. Only wow players seem to obsessively compare themesleves to every other mmo and barge into other games discussions all the times. xiv players are cultists but they just burn you if you talk bad about the game, not for enjoying other games.
