There's a worse example of teleportation in the show, in the episode where Tony travels outside New Jersey and spots the snitch who sent his dad to jail and went into witness protection. There's a stupid scene where the snitch, knowing that Tony is hunting him, goes to a remote spot in the country looking for a showdown. Then boom, Tony materialises behind him with a garrotte. It's worse than the Vito scene because at least that was in the city where an assassin could possibly go unnoticed among the hustle and bustle. Tony crept up on the snitch in a deserted, silent place without making any sound of his own.

There's that one scene where tony shoots and kills a guy on a boat next to a public freeway in broad daylight and no one spots that happening
