-Wyll is super self righteous and moralist, that becomes boring when you are always on the correct and just side, unlike Astarion for example he is not willing to dirty his hands with you or do something weird, he just wanted to be a hero.
-Wyll also has the least developed story, his development is slow in the beginning which makes many people drop or ignore him, he is only important in act 3 and not for a long time either.
-Wyll looks ok but with horns he becomes ugly
-His performance is the least memorable, compare him to Astarion, Shadowheart, Laezel, Gale or Karlach and he is far behind.

I believe that Wyll is suited to be THE playable origins character, because it sounds he is the hero you need to play as if you don't want to play Tav. Feels like when they made the story of the game Wyll was the main character but then its dnd RPG so they gave you character creator.
