Pretty good in terms of variety
The hardest part about getting older as a nintendo fan is realizing i only care about 3d mario, 3d zelda, and smash brothers.
dk and metroid will probably be good
never cared about air ride but i'm happy for my kirby bros
cautiously optimistic for layton
don't give a shit about the rest
no FE4R no buy
probably because those are the only franchises you have heard of and played.
baseless statement
Good for 2025. But they better not drop the ball next year.
No 3D Mario
No Open World Zelda
No Mainline Pokemon Game
I'll wait
That's because you were never a Nintendo fan faggot.
No 3D Mario
No Open World Zelda
No Mainline Pokemon Game
Damn, I'm buying this day fucking god damn one, holy shit.
I think the lineup SUCKS
Wolverine
Ratchet & Clank 2029
Death Stranding II: On The Beach
Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
X-Men
Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet
really weak if you ask me, but im not interested in anything other than Air riders. Might player mario kart because whatever, I was a big fan of 64, DD, and DS, but I've not felt the magic since those ones.
Either way, If that thing can play the gamecube games like Windwaker, Gale of darkness, Fire emblem 9, F-Zero GX at 120 FPS? I'll be good for a while.
Meh
Very good. I’m excited for basically all of them besides Pokemon and Hyrule Warriors. Not because I dislike warriors games, I greatly enjoyed the first HR and Age of Calamity, I just didn’t want another game set in the BotW timeline; I’m pretty tired of it. Pokemon looks boring and shitty.
Prime 4 and DK are probably my most anticipated among all of them, with Air Riders and Rhythm Heaven coming in close as well.
Not looking forward to the price tags; hopefully Rhythm Heaven and Tomodachi will be more budget titles.
I’m the direct opposite. As I’ve gotten older I’ve made a conscious effort to try new things and have found myself really loving a lot of games I had never considered prior.
The Xeno series (gears, saga, and blade) has quickly climbed to the top of my all time favorites. Recently gave Emio the Smiling Man a try and loved it despite not having played a ton of VNs before.
I think Nintendo has an amazing catalog of games that get ignored by people because they aren’t as flashy or well known as the flagships.
>No 3D Mario
Probably won't happen for a while also, DK definitely took up the devs time and focus there.
Cool
Cool
Cool
idk I never played the original and it sounds like people only liked City Trial
We'll see
Meh
Meh
Cool
Okay
Overall pretty good
I'm not getting a Switch 2 day 1
Mario Kart World
Okay but I'll stick to Burnout
Donkey Kong Bananza
I'll wait until we get more story details
Metroid Prime 4 Beyond
No point in getting the upgrade
Kirby Air Riders
No gameplay
Professor Layton and the New World of Steam
Mobile game
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment
Rehash of the worst Warriors game with an even worse roster
Pokemon Legends Z-A
This shit should be cross platform with mobile at this point. Also spectrobes did it better
Rhythm Heaven Groove!
Switch 1 slop
Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream
Switch 1 slop
There's nothing there that I really want.
Hi Erica
We'll most likely also get FE4 Remake, Kirby Robot remaster and a big Switch 2 exclusive for the holidays during the summer Direct
FE4 Remake, Kirby Robot remaster
No such thing.
Do we even have dates besides 2025 for half of them?
I think DK looks great but need a bit more releases for me to pick it up.
Unless news comes out that it's easy to jailbreak like the OG switch
You aren't fooling anyone, Tom.
No, we probably won’t until the June direct. It seems like Nintendo is intentionally withholding a lot of that kind of information right now in order to maintain interest/people tuning in.
They’ve realistically revealed the vast majority of the games that will be releasing this year, so I guess they figure they need something to string people along
They need the get konami's arcade games like chase chase jokers.
Honestly hyped for basically all of them except tomodachi life, pokemon, and hyrule warriors 3.
Prime 4 especially i am extremely hyped for
It sucks. The Switch 2's only going to have two new games at launch.
I guess they figure they need something to string people along
There is 200% a new 3D Mario, 2D Mario, 3D Zelda, 2D Zelda, Smash Bros, Pikmin, Splatoon, and mainline Pokemon already in development.
And that's just the objectively guaranteed stuff.
The Switch 1 only had 1 port and a tech demo until ARMS and Splatoon 2 4 months later, turned out fine
I do have a problem with the Hyrule Warriors series cause as of now it's just been BOTW instead of the cooler option, bunch of Zelda characters from other games
100% being announced in September for the 30th anniversary once Mario Kart and DK's launches are out of the way. 8 years since Odyssey is enough time for two games. Bananza may well be a collaboration with NST or Retro.
*2 new games in first 2 months
Well yeah, I’m only referring to the next few months
Legends za is a mainline tho?
Mario Wonder is 100% getting a Switch 2 Edition. I've been waiting, lurking, anticipating, planning. Pretty sure Nintendo didn't want to announce it too early to steal any thunder. But you know it's coming it's 2D Mario and it makes perfect sense. I also wanna see a free update to Splatoon 3
I've complained a lot about the new DK game being shit but I like everything else they showed so silver linings I guess
with those prices, i think i will only buy mario kart
Spectrobes
Man I forgot that existed and I played both games.
nah I'll be there for my nigga Leyton
I hope so, I want a New Super Luigi U tier campaign out of it.
Long time nintendo owner (since the nes).
None of those games interest me in the slightest except DK might be good. (Coz it's the only one there developed by Nintendo and not outsourced.)
I am not spending $700AU for a switch 2 just so i can spend another $130AU to play a Donkey Kong sequel though.
How many available on launch day?
