Yeah probably. I'm guessing there's a lot of decent melee skill accounts from NMZ. If you get some account for cheap that's even like 80 Att/Str 70 Def, even if all the other skills are garbage that lets you make some decent money right away and you can start questing and do whatever you want.
An acc like that is prob like $40 idk, back when membership was $10 a lot of ppl made alts like that with the intent to be a tank for GWD but then abandoned them.
The game is very grindy but you can honestly just get like base 80's (which isn't too bad) and then do 2/3 of the raids or Perilous Moons and have fun. Then there's stuff like "Oh you want a cosmetic swap for your angler's outfit? Do this minigame for triple digit hours and give up an actual valuable item to do so" lol

I've been botting on 8 accounts getting supplies and stuff to funnel to my main. I never RMT or anything, I just hate gathering supplies, so I bot to get them, then do the fun content (PVM) on my main. It's been nice how I don't even have to do most gathering skills on my main anymore because bosses just drop everything, too, I wish they'd just take the final step and get rid of that boring shit.

What do you guys think of the new Valeheim game they've been working on? I feel like it's probably going to be some shameless ripoff that barely feels Runescape-inspired but who knows. and anyway to answer your question, no, lower level grinds take like 20 hours, it's the high level grinds that get into the hundreds. Besides, building a new account is dopamine city, you're completing quests and getting 4-5 levels in 3 different skills every time

It's probably not worth it from an opportunity cost standpoint at that level, unless you just enjoy doing vorkath. Remember that stats increase your dps more than gear at a certain point, so you should be re-investing your money into chinning MM2 tunnels if you want more efficient kills. Check gearscape if you're not sure.

There's no way that guy isn't just making money off of them and only 'using it for supplies' lol. I sell runes like crazy and still have an 20-40k in catalytic runes before I know it just from PVMing. The only supplies for pvm I ever buy are karambwans, and ranging pots since I just don't feel like making them despite getting a ton of thr mats. Whenever I hear Irons complaining about soul runes it's like just go kill Duke for an hour and you have like 2-3k soul runes just from that...

Unless you're really enjoying it as said you're better off lvling up some skills and doing like Perilous Moons. Also if whenever you get black demon tasks demonic gorillas are really nice. Zenyte shards are like 21m rn and they're not obscenely rare, and their other drops are pretty decent as well (make sure you use F keys for Inv/Prayer tab etc.)

Don't do wintertodt on an iron man unless you get the max rewards possible. If you do it with low stats you get shit herbs, seeds and ores. I did the long game. I grinded shit like 85 mining and 80 farming to get runite ore and spirit seeds, but it was worth it. You can calculate what kind of rewards you can get with the loot calculator. I think you need most skills in their 70's to get everything.

At all 70 skills I can do most quests and the grind really starts. But for all intents I assume by that point u have max melee so yes you should be deep into endgame. 70 RC is doable with lamps iirc

Unironically Runescape is best treated as an adventure game where the main thing was quests. Quests were the focus back in the glory days. Quests unlocked the best shit. Doric's Anvil was BIS in classic runescape until runescape 2 released. Somehow people don't give a shit about questing and I can't blame them cause fagex handled quests wrong. We got 50+ quests during 2005 but now we can barely reach 10 in a year. And the writing is garbage. You can tell they're not passionate about it when they're now copying RS3 quests.

I can't even remember all the examples but I was blown away by the amount of it. All of the endgame quests and bosses for the last 2 years it's all rs3 content. They added Arachne, while guthix sleeps, and some of the vampire quests I think. They're still behind on those vampire ones compared to rs3. It's not very subtle if you've played them both

If you right click the zerker before you run to your A/B tiles, then click to attack it as it hits the corner of the pillar, you should be able to ctrl-click the wall and then attack it again to kill it before the manticore charges.

The zerker is the one thing which absolutely needs to die before the manticore starts actually attacking. Once he's gone, my advice is to treat the manticore like jad - Flick the orbs, then kill a single fremmy while he's reloading. Flick, then kill the other fremmy. Flick, then equip your range gear, reposition for reinforcement spawn safespotting, and then kill. You're gonna tank some fremmy hits, but having an SGS means you'll get a 40+ heal from the archer.

Do it in an instance, on a slayer task, or both. Haven't done Zilyana since the run energy changes, but I imagine you don't need nearly as many stams as before. In GWD instances now loot stays on the floor for an hour so with a few restore drops you shouldn't be too stressed for prayer points.

I was in the alpha. The Valheim comparisons are fair and Valheim being one of the only good open world survival games ive played I think people will like it. Magic has a lot of QOL spells tied to it, and one thing I'll give it, is the base building was not completely awful, especially when compared to other games in the genre.

You're starting the walk as soon as the first xp drop lands on the zerker. When your attack delay is up, click zerker again, and walk again as soon as you see the xp drop, back towards the pillar.

If the south spawn is a shocker or a javelin, then just camp that prayer while you kill fremmies. If it's a manticore, then do your switches and kill fremmies between attack cycles.

If you're comfortable walking between the wall and the pillar constantly, then do so, since it's just gonna mean less prayer taken away by blasphemy.

The original RS2 quests stayed good until around 2010-2011 when most of the original writers were gone by that point. I don’t mind the OSRS originals but they tend to be edgier than what’s expected from RS, and the backported quests from RS3 that were made in the 08-09 era get rewritten or condensed by the new writers and lose a lot of their charm (missing cutscenes or details, heavily altered dialogue, new boss fights that act as difficulty spikes because boss standards have completely changed from what they were 15 years ago, etc)
Hell a couple of early quests like Rune Mysteries and Underground Pass got rewritten to account for new “modern” lore, but most people don’t notice this even if they played back then. Point is the quests are still generally enjoyable even if the tone is completely off
