but goddamn it's jank, had two crashes so far and can't even take steam screenshots
Just started playing rise of ronin this weekend, pretty cool game
It wouldn't let me take screenshots in the photo mode because I didn't have the Steam overlay enabled, so I just stuck to the old print screen trick. Were you trying to take screenshots outside photo mode?
yep, just using the normal f12 key for steam shots during gameplay
I'm so fucking bored of this game.
About halfway through Kyoto, I just started skipping every dialogue and cutscene. Now I am back to Edo and I honestly don't think I'm going to bother completing it. I know I am near the end, but I just don't care anymore. Longest 60 hours of my life.
I guess they really don't want people capturing the HUD for some reason.
I can't relate, but there are only 2 missions and the final boss left. You can power through it.
Feels like WotS isnt it? The kind of game that you firing up for 10 mins of kino action then move on to sth else.
Still better than Soul(less) games
wots?
Way of the Samurai
It's nothing like WOTS aside from the setting idk why everyone keeps saying this
Or just come back to it later? No one's forcing you to beat it all in one go
game fuckin sucked
character creation
pick presets
william from nioh and black queen
perfect
Why the fuck is it so hard to romance Ryoma
You're practically joined at the hip to him, so you'll max out favor without even trying. There's just a very limited window of time when he's available in Kyoto after finishing the Izo questline.
I bought the game on pc release. So it's hardly "in one go".
PC
There's your problem
imagine using anything other than reshade to take pictures
Sweet, a Rise of the Ronin thread.
It definitely scratch the itch of WotS though, customization and multiple movesets, sadly there's only one iai stance and one locked to npc.
I made my harmless-looking hapa girl from Nioh 2 again.
controller
there are 8 buttons, go have fun
keyboard
we did our best to use every single fucking button
fuck you
using m&kb on a team ninja game
LOL
I found KB+M control okay-ish though, style switch just one button press and through that you can do multiple violent gale
it looks and run like absolute shit on my 3060
small indie studio, please understand
you think its possible to run it in 30 fps on ryzen 5 5600 and 3050? im getting tired of replaying nioh2
maps the kb&m controls like an RTS
UI menu with mouse clickability
Based team ninja respecting the PC audience
once you get to the city it started to shit itself
thats what i guessed
i know i have a shit setup but man FUCK open world games
Saito uses Gatotsu just like in Kenshin
I unironically soifaced
tfw going to get old and senile or die before nioh 3
It's all so tiresome... at least at this point i'm sure it will suck.
Check your CPU and make sure the game is installed on a fast NVMe. Downgrade your 3060's driver to 566.36. Also try lowering terrain to the minimum (it's just parallax) and turning off anisotropic filtering, but they probably should have fixed that by now.
Once you get it, it's one of the most OP moves in the game as well.
no one looks like their historical counterpart except for Kondo
What did they mean by this?
another thread of muh performance, nioh 3, "i'm not gonna finish it", and "parry timings are fucked!"
oh boy oh boy count me in
wanting new nioh and crying about performance is a staple of every team ninja arpg thread, no?
run into one of those road flag encounters
think it's gonna be easy like all of them
oh they've got a big boy with a club, that's different
he starts busting out moves I've never seen before and comboing me with slams
what the fuck
what makes someone play the latest console slop?
is your head just completely empty?
I was just saying. didn't imply anything else
why are you brown
I'm replaying Nioh 1 right now. I'm on Way of the Strong.
this is the question you should be asking yourself because no white man would play slop like that
I don't remember this guy having a rocket launcher
