It took everything people didnt like about tekken (hit particles, obnoxious stages, unfitting guests) and turned it up to 11 with clives attacks blinding the players AND the viewers, his insanely obnoxious anime stage AND the fact that he's le teleporting anime sword fighter in a martial arts fighting game. The last big tekken thread people were constantly using clive as an example compared to other tekken games side by side on how bad the franchise has gotten as everyone in the tekken community hates clive
