As said in the link OP has it's partially emulation. Meaning the CPU is native since it's ARM hardware but the GPU needs to be emulated due to nvidia's hardware setup being completely different from the tegraX1.

Not OP, but Switch 2 is not playing Switch 1 games natively. However, I don't think it's accurate to claim Switch 2 is having to emulate Switch 1 titles, or at the very least I don't think there's any software emulation going on, but some kind of hardware emulation or translation layer to allow for compatibility of most Switch 1 games. Yes, most, as they have a list of known compatibility issues as of the end of March 2025. See:

Switch 1 was a TEGRA chip from Nvidia. Tegra itself was pretty known tech with many exploits already know. The Switch 1 was an underclocked Tegra 1 processor. Nothing more nothing less.

Switch 2 isnt a gamecube -> Wii U situation where the known emulators can be tweaked like Dolphin to play Switch 2 games.
