You can hunt booth monsters in under 2 hours.
Alongside Tempered gore these are the only 3 monsters that are even remotely challenging.
There is simply no endgame or a reason to hunt other tempted monsters.

Good tutorial game but I'l wait for the expansion.

I never moved on from Sunbreak

sunbreak is terrible also

I went back to Sunbreak after finished wilds, it's so good.
I swapped to lance for wilds and focus mode kind of ruins that weapon, it's just a piss cake.

It can be good, Sunbreak updates added a lot of longevity, and Frontier as a whole exists.

Played GU on emulator for like 20 hours.
Game is fun but aged like shit, after World it's really hard to find it appealing, but to each their own.

Given how many technical issues this has that are entirely unique from DD2, and DD2 had better graffix and actual gaytracing that wasn't just dodgy reflections and nothing else, and DD2 actually ran BETTER than this outside of towns, I don't think DD2 was the tech demo proof of concept testing ground for Wilds that we thought it was

Something really bothers me about the Zoh Shia fight: the super attack requires that an NPC tells you exactly what to do because it's unintuitive. Zoh Shia either doesn't spawn crystals until his second phase, or doesn't spawn them enough for the player to logically conclude that they blow up when hit by fire. Any normal player is going to see his super attack and think

if they don't have time to read the NPC dialogue for the 3 seconds it's on-screen in the middle of the fight, specifically as Zoh Shia is clearly beginning to do something dangerous that draws your attention.
I feel like it wouldn't be so annoying if he spawned crystals more in the first phase, and switches to his "Look mom, I'm Fatalis" phase after the first super attack.

I'd agree, but the mechanic is introduced with Guardians to begin with. By the time you deal with Zoh, you should know you can trigger the crystals to explode and damage the monster. Plus, there are a bunch of elemental pods in Zoh's arena. So if you know you can blow up the crystals, you should think to block up the big ones, especially the one's closest to him to get damage.
