High school transfer student mc meets his best guy friend while walking to school one day. He introduces him to his new best girl friend. This group engages another world totally by accident and they awaken to a new power called persona. What do you think?
This game is going to have faggot shit isn't?
High-school setting in India.
The protag is a lesbian biological woman and all female social links are also lesbian
More likely it just making everyone a playersexual
Alright so here me out. You're Chang Highschooler. A highschool student in Nippon Highschool. And you have a bunch of friends and like you learn that demons are real. And you go to this other-world that's a series of dungeons connected to characters in your city. And by the end you fight the bad guy who's summoned the divine form of John Divine. But between that you're having friendships and shit
Well what are some current issues that Japan is currently facing? Now make that as the main plot of the game.
We've ripped off Twin Peaks, Evangelion, Scooby Doo and Death Note already, so I propose Showgirls but with kids
the main cast are adults in their first real world career environment
they have to navigate the social pressures and demanding work schedules
a local cardshop releases a new game and it becomes apparent it's connected to the psyche
mandatory forklift minigame
never get to see a home environment it takes place entirely around work and the cardshop
this will mimic the pressing atmosphere of your first job
The other world is accessed through portals in the designated ss
Definitely college.
Let's ditch the pedo bait, guys.
Adult cast like p2
It'll probably have music by Mori regardless.
youtu.be
Especially since it's not just lotus juice now, but meguro.
I hate this logo, why are the P and 6 not at the same angle
This sounds like a cool fresh setup
Opposite colors, green team vs orange (fictional) man
It's an interesting idea so far. Will the MC get it on with any girls?
A group of transbian guatemalan refugees.
p2
adult
Damn how many times did Tatsuya & Co bomb?
I would be amazing if the cast were adults during the daily life and teenagers inside the game's "Tartarus, Midnight Channel, Metaverse".
I suppose I have to specify to appease to your autism.
I mean persona 2 eternal punishment, the one were Maya is the protagonist
Atlus should hire this anon
Set in the 1970s.
Stop with the teenager trash and make it about a 40+ man. That would be insanely interesting.
They'll never do it though.
I really do wonder what they'll do to top 5 in terms of presentation. The dashing thief is stylish as fuck, and allows them to do stuff like grappling and lithe parkour movements without it feeling out of place.
as long as it has
a high school setting
lots of fanservice
dating one or multiple girls at once
turn based combat instead of whatever the fuck Final Fantasy is doing
I don't care what they do, set it in the 80s for all I care
this but also keep the teenage girls
The persona gang gets transported to the world of nocturne
just play yakuza if you want a persona game with adults
this but with an all female cast and they have English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish, Canadian, Australian and Kiwi boyfriends
Now post the same thing in all JRPGs threads, because every JRPG has teenagers/young aduts as the main characters.
40+ man. That would be insanely interesting.
How?
burp
boring 9-5
looks at porn and hates his wife
Set in Osaka so you have that urban environment mixed with that rustic rural vibe
You enter the Shadow world by diving into the water
Your character is the adopted child of Nyarly in his human form and he's grooming you to use your Persona to infiltrate the Velvet Room and steal the Compendium
Trying to appeal to westerners
Be able to knock up any of the girls, and if you do you have a more restrictive day but you gain a stat boost in battles.
adapting to college life and focusing on each character’s dream careeers, while also focusing on the aspects of the harsh life in tokyo/low birth-rate.
Game only lasts about 9 months so that would have to be an after game cinematic
Wasn't she some American slampig?
nobody likes that dirty ass country, anon.
9-5? Would this game not be in Japan?
Do you really think the makers of Shin Megami Tensei would work with the makers of Persona and not demand royalties?
The protagonist has no sexual organs.
grooming fag
you lost me there
She has a channel with her actual face called demon dice, she doesn’t seem that fat.
Set in Japan
Trip to Mexico
Everyone returns with a bloated belly
brilliant idea, it complements my concept very well
Good.
Why do you want Aegis spinoff
Femboy MC
Dilate
Kill yourself.
Adult age team (24-32)
Time travel through memories
Ok, but what about this little schizo velvet room attendant?
Rock humans
jojoshit
Not again
Persona but the story revolves around wrestling.
Shows up
Sells you shit
Fights you
Doesn't elaborate further
I'd go with that concept someone came up with in one of these threads of a game set in rural japan where with themes such as aliens, cryptids, conspiracy theories and all that stuff. The story would start with the main cast investigating some crop circles that appeared on their town and they would only go deeper into the conspiracy as the game goes on
setting is a school in the ghetto and everyone is black.
this ear
No the scene will just fade to black and any actual mention of sex or what goes on will not happen.
Get this what if it largely centred around a Japanese high school?! And they have to solve a mystery, throw some demons and personal trauma into the mix and now we're cooking!
I want to take igor fishing
This would be badass. They also need another robot character because those always rock in these games
I'm running my own Persona themed game that uses Superpowers instead of Personas using a tabletop RPG of my creation that I'm playtesting. It's based in the future near the end of the Age of Peace in Cologne, Germany that illustrates the world's downfall into degeneracy before the Capital-A Antichrist shows up and offers a way to return order to the world.
The MC is having to stay within a monastery to do his time for being caught assaulting a rabbi that his friend was sure kidnapped his little sister. The MC was handed a contract upon his arrival by a well-groomed man dressed in reds and purples named Dan, and then in dreams had to learn how to awaken to his superpowers by meeting with St. Peter and St. Ursula within the "Velvet Room", stylized like it's all underneath a blanket that makes its ceiling. It could be a bed, but the floor is a cold hard stone. The MC then goes on to investigate rumors of "The Holders" as in The Holders creepypasta that his new friend at the private Catholic Gymnasium named Fritz but nicknamed "Kifritz" for his pot-smoking habits. So far, he found himself in the Garden of Eden when he asked the elderly Monk who tends the monastery's front garden for the "Holder of Alpha", where he met a lion headed creature with a serpentine body but with two serpent tails for legs who was stuck in the garden for not ever having been given a name by Adam before Eve introduced him to the knowledge of good and evil and subsequently to sin. This lion-headed creature was given a name by the MC, and after fighting this creature's shadow was intercepted by a benevolent angel who recognized that the MC didn't return to the Garden of Eden on purpose and demanded he return to his exile; a mercy from God to him, but not before he gave this creature a name in Adam's stead and called him a Tannin (not a Nigger, sorry Anon Babble).
Thanks for reading my blog, but I am enjoying this story as it unfolds.
I guess the fans will have to pick up the slack. Then again, it's better that this work be left in the hands of fans, even if they're a bunch of retarded faggots.
Protag is a depressed and divorced man in his late-20s, who just moved to a new town to start over
He soon discovers that the town is having problems with a new illegal drug that turns people into Shadows
Each playable party member is some form of degenerate: A stripper, a hooker, a stoner, a pervert/sex offender, a womanizer, a drunk, a con-artist, etc.
The "mascot" is a flamboyant fox-like creature that constantly hits on the protag and male characters
The protag can engage in sex with the female characters (including the Velvet Room gal this time) as soon as their Social Link rank maxes out
The game will tackle more mature issues like sex & romance, mental illness, parenting, drug abuse, domestic violence, etc.
Oh god, this
Imagine a retired Igor wearing fisher gear.
Not the wojak ones.
MC forced to get a job, either was a NEET before or is doing community service
ends up working at an antique shop like most people go to for some popular card game
spend the daytime between working at the shop restocking, making new trinkets to sell and running errands throughout the city
a more lenient version of the calendar system where you simply have to make enough to pay off the expenses of running the shop each month and are free to mess around otherwise
dungeons are themed around nostalgia, false senses of security, apathy and ennui with this game's Mementos being a large but empty rustic/suburban town with huge fields with crop circles and fairy rings like
personae can be recruited multiple times, though any copies will be itemized into cards that can be fused with products at the shop
I would play these, but the mature issues bit needs to be handled well
you play the bad guy who tries to become God but are stopped at the last minute by a bunch of scrawny nerds
College environment, protag is sent to a specialty year-long program at an archeological dig site
Focus on history and tradition, other-world accessed through the dig site
Different branches of the site for each party member to confront their heritage, handled non-linearly
Party members include exchange student classmates, professors, townies
Navigator is old Scandinavian Professor. Persona evolution is Odin -> Santa Claus
Mascot character is a bird, servant of "god" and actively hostile until late game
a new illegal drug that turns people into Shadows
empty rustic/suburban town with huge fields with crop circles and fairy rings
collectible card game escape from drudgery connected to personas
very fine ideas
something about humanity's collective drive for a return to a better past because of fear that there is no better future is a theme I'd like to see touched on more; rather than another 'escapism is bad' on an individual level, I wanna see something that goes:
nostalgia is human, especially when you're nostalgic for when you were a kid with less responsibilities
it's dangerous to let nostalgia control you, especially nostalgia that's not based on a messy reality but a pretty narrative
the collective drive to return to a better past comes from a fear to imagine a better future; the governments of the world should be working to inspire a true future rather than corral everyone into a false past
