I really wanted a Witcher-verse game where you can play as different characters like a Witcher or one of the Sorceresses. Using Ciri, whose story is over and whose presence has been nothing but a cringy macguffin, just confirms the devs are fucking idiots. Gameplay will probably still be mid despite having a blank check for the project.

Any games that takes more than 20 hours to complete needs to be great. More than 50 hours needs to be a fucking masterpiece. A game that takes more than 100 hours to complete is not worth your time or money.

Basically, yeah. My mindset was different as an early 20s guy who didn't give a fuck that he had no life and was comfy being in his room all day, but now in my early 30s I am driven largely by anxiety and a rush to do *something* so my tastes have gravitated toward games that don't take up huge chunks of your time, or if they do, do so organically (aka a multiplayer game you can't put down or an sp game you love replaying over and over).
