Why do so many female characters have this slit cut in their eyebrows?
Why do so many female characters have this slit cut in their eyebrows?
I've never noticed before
my sister has it too now, what the fuck does it mean
It's apparently just a counterculture trend IRL.
eyebrow rings are bad for foightin
your sister is licking box on the side bro, sorry to break it to you

my wife and sister both have scars causing this effect. both of them smashed their head into something as preteens, causing the scar. male preteens don't need a permanent disfigurement to learn that you shouldn't smash your face into things so this is mostly a female thing
Are u stupid? If you get hit by something or someone throws something at you, your instinct is to turn your face to the side and down. I seen this injury cause by a punch or a soccer ball, basically a split eyebrow that healed
A much larger percentage of men have this than women dumbass because they are more likely to engage in fistfights. The eyebrow thing means both women have gotten into fistfights (which makes sense for Ellie), it indicates a character that has gotten into fights. Scar tissue doesn't grow hair. As for a fashion statement, I never knew that shit existed
makes em look fierce without doing much of anything.
They are a suggested design by the same people
le quirky female
lmao what kind of fistfights have your brow getting sliced? you getting in scraps with edward scissorhands?
In hypothyroidism, a common physical sign is the loss of the outer third of the eyebrows, often referred to as "Queen Anne's sign." This occurs due to slowed metabolism and reduced hair growth caused by insufficient thyroid hormone levels.
This. My friend had one from smashing her face on the corner of a table when she was a kid.
Ah yes, male preteens, notoriously known for being extremely intelligent and risk adverse.
how can we make our female character look """badass""" and battle-worn without any actual disfigurement that would make her even uglier?
It communicates that the character leads an active/violent life without actually marring their face.
Ultimately, our society values women for their beauty as such devs won't actually disfigure the character.
TL:DR it's the female ver sion of the cool eye scar.
Males have higher spatial awareness.
A preteen female has the spatial awareness of a male young child.
Latino gang culture appropriated by the ex-US military chuds who turned into devs. They have to make these girls extra tough any way they can. Christ. Earrings used to be enough.
Anon...
beauty
in a modern western game
Anon, boys are more likely to get unintentionally injured than girls, not the other way around. There's plenty of factual reasons to hate women, you don't need to make shit up.
Your skin just tends to split from the pressure dumbfuck.
boys get broken bones usually
IT'S BADASS
It's a Anon Babblecel posts a laughably stupid position that is so factually divorced from reality it disproves itself, episode
Neat.
Men rule, girls drool. This is fact.
Most people who are involved in game development are not great artists. This isn't an insult to anyone who is into game dev, just a fact. People who lack skill generally aren't that creative when it comes creating diverse looking characters.
Scars don't make you look tough, they indicate a clumsy, sloppy fighter.
Because it's the tamest and easiest way to make them look "badass", a harsher scar in the middle of their face may be too much for these pussy braindead character designers.
do you guys never go outside? literally like 10 or so years ago, blacks, hispanics, and wiggers (after the first groups started it) started buzzing these fake eyebrolw scars as a style/trend. jason momoa made it even more popular. like everything gay and dumb that zoomers and alphoomers say and do (blud, cap, ahh, etc.), it took a decade to finally catch on in the mainstream even though it's been around for ages IRL in urban youf culcha
got mine from a big brawl in elementary lmao. same position and everything
Brazilian influence
Fascinating genetic defect
Brazilian jujitsu has a lot of rubbing against the ears, creating the cauliflowers that I feel is inevitable in those environments. They can be mitigated by draining the blood with a syringe yourself or from someone else.. I agree, though. If you've been bashed so much that you're punch drunk, fighting would not be your ideal profession.
Its been a fashion thing for at least a decade now for kids who pretend to have been in a physical conflict.
