some already have trees in the middle. the entire argument ITT is based on a faulty premise. it's all about how fast you expect people to be going on the road when they crash. cars going ~70+ on an interstate will literally get cut in half by small trees. cars going ~40 on local two lane roads can get stopped by the trees without (usually) annihilating the occupants.
