Which one, Anon Babble?

Which one, Anon Babble?

Normally I'd say P4 but rn I'm feeling P3

P3 Hero.png - 1041x4307, 2.36M

All of them.

Please don't make me put 4 at the bottom.

Personiggas will never admit 5R is the best game

3 has the best story
4 has the best cast
5 has the best gameplay

Your favorite Persona game is the one you played first.

I think 3 is the best of them. 4 is a retread of 3 that, while still good, isn't quite as well executed in any regard. 5 has better dungeons, but is otherwise inferior.

5R is easily the worst of the 3 and only gets any attention because of recency bias.

3 is the best one because it has least amount of cut scenes and chat. 3 has the best girl Aigis. You could make P5 a better game by cutting it.

Couldn't care less about you shitty tastes, faggot

I want to say 3 because it was my first but if I had to be more realistic, I'd probably say 4. I don't get the hype for 5. It had a couple neat gameplay additions but the rest of it wasn't so great in my eyes.

Where’s Persona 1 and 2?

Oh that’s right…most persona fans dunno how to emulate old games.

3’s tone and atmosphere
4’s characters
5’s presentation

I played them in order (starting with 3 of course) and my favorite is 4, explain this

1 is dogshit
2 is boring and the story sucks
Older does not always mean better

this is the best answer

Persona 1 and 2

nice fanfics, faggot, are you on wattpad?

Persona started at 3.

Let's not pretend P2 is even barely playable. The only reasona anyone would even bother putting up with the shit game play is to have played all the games.

P1 is great, doeverbeit. Better than P4, even.

The one with Yukari in it

PS1 Persona games need to wait in line if they get a remake, we need 2 full years dev time to create Persona 4 Remake and another for the Persona 5 remake for modern consoles first before anyone can care.

Don't play P3P

Too late. Akihiko is already filling me up

Probably 5 overall. I liked the story of 3 the best though. 4 was the lamest though it had the best human villain by a long shot. But 5 just plays the best and has at least a better story and cast than 4 so I gotta give it the win as the best overall game.

i like 3 even more now that soys out themselves as brainlets when you tell them Junpei is your favorite character. I never cared either way originally and Persona 3 on the PSP was my introduction to the series. But now that theres this movement against Junpei I like it even more. Like telling the same demographic Oghren is your favorite from DA:O they lose their shit.
hilarious.

Probably 5 overall.

Stupid dumb Reddit scum

Why don't they life Junpei? Is it because he's straight and gives Yukari the ick? Then again, she always has the ick.

Has the best gameplay and second best story and characters. Best presentation too. It's obviously the best overall package.

Megami Ibunroku Persona

most soys and lefties don't like the old "idgaf I'm gonna call a spade a spade and I have hetero sexual desires" type of characters.
So yes what you said is accurate.

Junpei is easily the best party member in the series.

Your opinions make me angry.

yep. I have his hat irl my now wife bought it for me.

Thoughts on this Persona 3 art?

That demographic never had the stones to stand up for what they believe in and then twisted it into a virtue, like they're above it. This mindset doesn't come from having faced those notions but from rejecting them. Those guys will never awaken to their Personas.

both you and the artist must kys yourselves

I found 5 really dull, I just did not get attached to a single one of the characters.

you think youre being based but youre actually really cringe

persona is fuckign cringe

TWEWY > NEO TWEWY

Vanilla P5 and it's not even close

I'm just about to finish P4G for the first time ever (romanced only Chie and Marie btw), and I'll have played all three. Each game is great in its own way.

I dislike P5 because I feel like it had an insanely good message that's really relevant today and it just....doesn't do anything with it. The characters are also insanely campy and goofy as fuck. Also this was kinda stupid, they could've done like 99999 different IQ plays right here and yet the bad guys were just like "uhhh just let shido do his press conference oops".

the fuck

Persona 5 is the best because it's the most fun to play. Simple as that.
Yes, the story and characters are shit, but that's true for the other games as well.

They're all just bad. I'd pick 4 for story and 5 for okayish gameplay if I had to.

most persona fans dunno how to emulate old games.

I played 3 on PCSX2, nigger

The game in general wastes a lot of potential by trying to not alienate sub-100 IQs. In a lot of plot moments like you described but also in dungeons too. In dungeons, party members will not shut up. You walk in that art dungeon and they all stop and point out every element in the room instead of letting you look naturally as a player. In Futaba's dungeon, when you're welcomed in partway and suddenly she's trying to block you out, instead of letting the player interpret that very obvious meaning, the party stops and spells it out. It's embarrassing.

Story and characters are all persona has. Gameplay is always dogshit monster crawling with a terrible combat system. Beyond that I guess you have the ost which is nice

3 for the waifus (picrel)
4 for the atmosphere
5 for the story

sexsuru.png - 1400x700, 1.1M

god I hate that too. having the intelligence of the average fatlus fan thrown in your face like that is absolutely brutal.

contrarian village here damn. might as well put my "bad take" too but I don't like P5 dungeons at all. worst random dungeon as well of the 3. I prefer P3/P4 just unga bunga grind rather than p5 ohhh lets do level gimmick of the week ohhhhh look its a shiny button joker what does the shiny button do ohhhhhhhh.
fuck that let me just turn my brain off, gimmie that baby baby baby or I HOLD OUT I FACE OUT and then do it over and over and over again.

this i hate the fucking stop and go

smt vv or smt iva doesn't do it at all so i dunno what's up with that.

Pure peak.

Japanese video game writing has no sense of balance. Either nothing gets explained and is entirely vibes-based, or every last little repeated a million times because Japanese has no word for subtlety.

gimmie that baby baby baby

Problem is after 200+ levels of baby baby baby you just want it to end.

TWEWY troon

Get out

Persona 5 with that faggot Akechi

5 > 3 > 4

I assume that's world ends with you but since I never played that I'm going off of vibes from your pic and say akechi from p5r

says you, never gets old to me. get baby baby baby'd, unga bunga deathbound unga bunga. significantly better flow than P5 dungeons. the only dungeon that gets a pass is casino but every other dungeon was snooooooze city.

nuh uh

Assume PC/Steam player who has them all

P3 Reload w/ Expansion Pass

P4 Golden

P5 Royal (also Strikers, but I think its sort of an alternate arc that takes place instead of Royal or...something? )

what's the best order? Some were saying its best to play 3, 4, 5 in order for a variety of reasons

Problem with p5 might be just mine but I liked doing content when that content is available so I cleared all palaces as soon as they were available in a day and pacing felt dull as a result. P3's pacing was okay but the shitty combat system every persona has is the most mind numbing thing. How is persona fusion the most interesting, engaging part of the whole system while the actual combat is boring as shit? I think p3 with tartarus would be the best one if they cut tartarus in half or even down to 100 levels and used press turn with more enemy variety or something.

I never got tired of the battle music in 3 or 5. Reach Out to the Truth was the only one I got sick of, but I didn't really like it to begin with.

what's the best order

1, 2:IS, 2:EP, 3, 4, 5

dude almost every rpg is the exact same, one more/press turn keeps things hella fresh but you better not be jerking off ff7r like it's some major echalon of gameplay

maybe 4,3,5 but honestly who gives a shit. wait for p4 remake. i'd just play p3 before p4 for obvious reasons.

Ignore this. Persona started at 3.

dude almost every rpg is the exact same, one more/press turn keeps things hella fresh but you better not be jerking off ff7r like it's some major echalon of gameplay

No I hate ff (except origins because I respect jacks strength). I'm just an smt boomer and think p3 would have been more fun if it was a series of retarded abstract dungeons with high risk high reward press turn like nocturne with the social links tacked on. One more/press turn don't feel nearly as similar in practice as they sound on paper

i know i said 4,3,5 btw but that's only because 4 is technically now the oldest so its systems haven't aged as well + it has the oldest paint right now. still 4 is way better played after 3 again for obvious reasons.

like nocturne

I like all smts. It's just what my mind jumped to when I played p3 for the first time and experienced tartarus. I think I prefer 4A and VV if that makes you more comfortable

it's the same shit
nah smt iva and vv were peak 4a is wasted potential though but there's no saving vv.

Go post you offtopic garbage somewhere else

every post after this was unnecessary

Persona started at 3.

I dont remember her in persona 3.
Which social link was she?

P3>P5>P4

makototism.png - 1284x1032, 454.64K

She's from P2

3 until the 4make

I think he meant persona 3 eternal punishment
persona 2 is called innocent sin

you should only play a persona/SMT game once every 2 or 3 years because they all use the same demons in the same order with the same resistances and weaknesses

Persona started at 3

If true, that's a bit disappointing. I mean, I know some of the same demons show up again in the same way that the same pokemon show up again, but there's a way to add variation not just to the story but also mechanics even with the dick-chariot monster showing up in multiple games.

(also Strikers, but I think its sort of an alternate arc that takes place instead of Royal or...something? )

Strikers is a spin off.

Play it after you've finished p5, if you want to.

If true, that's a bit disappointing

He's not entirely correct, but he's also not entirely wrong. Most demons show up in the same order and most of them have the same weaknesses.

The biggest trvth nuke about persona in general is that the first game you played is the one you are going to like the most.

Objectively speaking Persona 5 themes and messages are the ones that hit the hardest but is a requirement the person playing is in the age bracket of 15-20

Persona 4 is the better experience since its peak comfy, you can be both a Chad or a Loser and it doesn't matter, the general experience of persona 4 is the same, it makes you feel good and feel like you have friends

Persona 3 has a good 5 or so months where literally nothing fucking happens, the game is carried by an strong start and finish

???????
I played P3 first and P4 is my favorite
no wait i still really like p3 they swap between my favorites almost every month when i rethink about them.

P3 has best atmosphere and girls

P4 has Adachi

P5 has its girls in tight costumes wiggling their ass to the camera.

Can't say.
