not purposefully wasted mana so he could pretend hes too low mana to do anything thus justify his small mistake of running too far from the group (huge ego moment so he could defend himself getting called out)

If he had at least apologized immediately for not saving the group "dang your right i could have done more guys" then no one would have actually cared much, instead he got snarky with people who just lost hundreds of hours of playtime to a situation he ratted out on. I can only think of two reasons:
1- You're chasing a high you got once when you had a close call back when people were retarded enough that the game felt hard, and the only way you can think to do that is to hang days of your life as the price of failure. It's like, signing up to getting sent to jail for 3 days if you can't make a basket on your kiddie hoop.

Idk as a player with 20 years of experience myself I'd assume the warrior can aoe slow and the rogue can just kill the dogs & CC the non-boss ogre. I'd be worried about staying within 30 yards in case I get hit by an ogre's charge and one-shot, especially since the boss is probably immune to frost mage stuff. It isn't reasonable to disrespect your group so much that in a max lvl dungeon you think you need to babysit the rogue telling him he can use stuff like gouge and blind and his stuns. PIrate is EXACTLY the sort of mage that makes me hate bad mage players and exactly the reason i dont ever want to play hardcore, all he had to do was a good frost nova but he is super greedy and saving the nova for himself, or a rank 1 blizzard, but he didnt do it, then runs and claims he has no mana. THe rogue should have used distract to stop the boss pulling, but he didnt. and the window for that was over fast, the lack of nova/rank 1 blizzard was an issue for the entirety of the pull.

Anyways not meaning to be offensive but you are probably just really bad at the game, every single pro wow player who watched the clip from multiple angles thought that the game did a terrible job, and yeah the rogue could have done better but at least the rogue did try and stay with the group and help a bit, the mage didnt even do that. The whole situation is a good litmus test for how well you know the game, if you dont see how terrible the mage was you lack the game knowledge

Pierat Man in comparison had supposedly played the game for years and also had more tools at his disposal to help his party out of that bad pull with little risk of harm to himself, as a ranged caster. He literally started running out as soon as the pull occurred and barely even tried to help at all, when he easily could have slowed, sheep, frozen the mobs on the way out, that's why it's scummy.
