Both these games have some real "shareholders are breathing down our necks to pump out more multiplayer Souls"...

Both these games have some real "shareholders are breathing down our necks to pump out more multiplayer Souls" energy to them. Did the success of Elden Ring destroy FromSoft forever?

is that the new cope? this is what mitsubishi wants to do, this is your idol, enjoy your neverending slop

Don't care. Still not buying Neightsneed nor Dusksneeds.

In August 2022, Sixjoy Hong Kong (a subsidiary of Tencent) and Sony Interactive Entertainment respectively acquired 16.25% and 14.09% of FromSoftware

Nah this was Miyazaki's true vision and magnum opus.

Miyazaki has been saying that he wanted to do multiplayer slop for a while.
Multiplayer focus is a blight upon this world.

It's Miyazaki crashing and burning the studio to fuck over snoy

They are just testing multiplayer concepts anon.
The next mainline FS game will probably borrow from these games for the multiplayer. Or maybe not at all.

Looking forward to it!

From Software's games and the company itself have been unanimously loathed for years; they simply saw the writing in the wall and decided to move to greener pastures.

Will Duskbloods have a solid offline campaign like Bloodborne or only pvp?

I just want Memehacki to make the fuckin mecha fantasy Escaflowne / Dunbine inspired game he mentioned before 2030 and the world goes to shit
it feels like a no brainer after they've made AC6, it'd tie the fantasy and mecha audiences together

testing multiplayer concepts

It baffles me that people don't get this. It's obvious that NR was a passion project that got enough in-studio support to turn it into a full-release. They smartly cut costs by placing it in the ER "universe" so they could reuse existing assets, and it's clearly a test of various multiplayer mechanics.
Duskbloods was specifically made at the request of Nintendo, going back to 2020/21, and was originally envisioned for the first Switch. The whole game was put on pause and expanded in scope once the Switch 2 was put into production. It's not something From has shitted out as filler - it's been in production for 4-5 years.

Only a very small but very vocal brand of hipsters would like that idea; why would they waste their money like that?
I bet you haven't even watched either show.

it's been in production for 4-5 years.

all that time wasted on multiplayer shit. actually painful

It baffles me that people don't get this.

I imagine a lot of things baffle you, retard.

I believe it's only PvPvE (somewhat like Hunt: Showdown).

you sound like a massive faggot

Heh; I was spot on.

im not the guy you replied to though

Sure you aren't.

From acquired full rights to Elden Ring a bit before the DLC came out. I'm guessing Nightreign is them milking it while the A team works on something new (that'll be scrapped and Frankenstein'd into a Souls game).

a lot of things baffle you

Just mud-eating mongoloids like yourself who have zero understanding of gamedev or any creative process.

who cares what the plebs want? and no I haven't
if Memehacki wants to make it and is inspired by the idea then he should do it regardless of whether or not it'll sell. that kind of attitude is what got us DeS and DaS in the first place

unanimously loathed for years

Unanimous means more than just you and your friends

I wanted a new Chromehounds when he said Tarkov inspired not this.

From Software's games and the company itself have been unanimously loathed for years

?

only $40

I will absolutely fuck with nightreign as a fun side game with my friends at that price. Duskbloods is Miyazaki catering to the absolute worst part of the souls community (competitivefags)

while the A team works on something new

yeah that's the duskbloods :)

ER was already Dark Souls but open world slop.
From has been doing it themselves.

Not really sure what it will take for people to start realizing how lazy and incompetent From are. Probably nothing, at this point.

you lost fromsoft won

FromSoft stopped being good after Demon's Souls.

the fact Duskbloods didn't even get a CGI trailer makes me think it's lower budget
then again, not sure if this is directed solely by Miyazaki

Everything has felt like a rehash since DS3 except Sekiro (which was developed at the same time). It is the peak of FromSoft popularity and that also always translate to after their peak in quality

mecha fantasy Escaflowne / Dunbine inspired game he mentioned

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

people play souls slop for the cred, to make themselves feel like 'real gamers'. Even though the games are piss easy even with the 12 hundred self imposed rules retards give themselves.

what games arent piss easy

from roll software

people play souls slop for the cred

I like the idea of Nightreign being co-op focused but I'm not saying that'll necessarily translate into a purchase.
Not so sure I have any interest in Duskbloods.

think it's lower budget

See >not sure if this is directed solely by Miyazaki
According to the recent interview he gave it seems to be. He directs multiple projects at the same time.

From acquired full rights to Elden Ring a bit before the DLC came out.

They acquired the rights only to turn around and immediately run the IP into the ground with this trash.

You couldn't tell when they started adding homosexual plotlines to the games that from software lost the plot?

He directs multiple projects at the same time.

he puts his name on everything now, ever since DS2 and people noticed his name being on it correlated to a lack of quality
recently he's just an overseer at the early stages and lets another director take the reins after it's all on track
since Sekiro and ER were developed at the same time, I'd imagine he spent more time on ER

noticed his name being on it

name not being on it* fuck
